First impressions AREN'T everything! Let me begin by saying this is made completely of PLASTIC! This was something I failed to pay attention to when reading the listing. That begin said, it looks EXACTLY like a chrome plated metal faucet. And let's be honest, if you're only willing to pay $14 for this, then you should understand it's not exactly ornate. Upon opening the box I was pretty unimpressed by the feel of it. It seemed REALLY cheap and something that probably wouldn't hold up to much water pressure at all. HOWEVER, after installing it, my worries disappeared as it feels very structurally sound once bolted in! Handles the pressure very well. This was purchased as a replacement for a leaking faucet in a spare bathroom, so it's not like I needed anything fancy. It DOES include a hole for a plunger. Luckily it comes with a plug that needs to be punched out. I opted not to reinstall my plunger as it seems it's only good for the kids to flood the sink and there's really no reason for me to have to fill the sink. The only real problem I have with it, is it seems that if the handles were turned too hard, they would snap off. But they would have to be turned REALLY hard for that to happen. I DEFINITELY recommend this faucet as an inexpensive replacement! 4Works Well, Good Price, Easy Install I have had Moen, Delta and other big brands in the past, they are good, last a long time. But one pays a hefty price for them. I needed something a lot less expensive that would work well. This does work well, it looks good also. The only problem I had was I cannot get the part that the water comes out of off so I can remove the reducer. I thought that was possible, and it may be, but even with a good tool, it would not unscrew. Not wanting to destroy it, I decided to just leave it as it is. I don't need a large amount of water at the bathroom sink anyway. It is plenty as it is. 4better than expected for $14 OK, so I gave this five stars BASED ON THE FACT THAT IT IS A CHEAP $14 Faucet. This does not mean it should compare in any way to a lavish chrome fixture, which it is not. This is entirely plastic and you can feel the difference, especially when you turn off the water and you can feel how the knobs might snap off if you continued to force them beyond the off position. But why would you do that? I suppose if this develops a leak later down the line one might be encouraged to tighten this too much, which could lead it to break, but as this functions perfectly right now I am very happy. I repaired a leaky faucet in a most inexpensive manner, pleasing my wife without hurting my wallet. As far as I'm concerned, that gives it five stars. 5I was pretty shocked by the light weight and plasticky feel of ... This is very lightweight, plastic that is coated with chrome. I was pretty shocked by the light weight and plasticky feel of it when we took it out of the box....but hubby said to keep it because it would work fine. It looked fine, once installed. We needed a quick replacement for a very old faucet, and didn't want to drive almost an hour to the nearest place that carries them, or make a big investment at this time. This fit the bill nicely and works flawlessly. It doesn't come with a pop up, but we just removed the plug in the pop up hole, and used the existing one. Very pleased with this purchase...just wish it had been a little heavier and more substantial, but it will do! 4Leaks like a sieve ;( Did not get around to installing faucet until 2 days after "return window" closed. Amazingly cheap and leaks, ours must be defective because it leaks all over. Bought a $25 faucet at hardware store and it works great, should have installed it sooner but alas, DIY projects always seem to take longer than we anticipated. Guess we are out of luck :(...... Anyone want to purchase our faucet? Will sell it and ship it to you real cheap!!!! 1Great Used to replace ugly faucets, love how they look and for a great price 5good buy Ultra UF08042C Two-Handle Chrome Non-Metallic Series Lavatory Faucetwork for me,looks nice. 5Just Perfect for Me I like to install things myself right away, give the landlord the bill, and deduct the costs from my rent, so I was searching for something just like this: Decent looking, cheap, easy to maintain, easy to install, and if worse comes to worse, easy to replace in the future--though I don't expect to spend the rest of my life as a tenant in this big old house where everything leaks, everything squeaks, and nothing seems to work right. As you can see from the images, the old faucets had seen better days and were begging to be replaced. Those old faucets were made of some kind of the cheapest copper alloy and were corroding and staining my baked porcelain enamel finish on my sinks. This would not have happened if the old faucets were made of high-quality bronze. I got sick and tired of looking at green stains on both sinks, so I bought one in chrome for the missus' bathroom--she likes shiny things, and one for my bathroom--I like things that are subdued. These new faucets were a snap to install and look great. Since they are made of plastic--everything is plastic nowadays--I know they won't corrode and stain my sinks again. It is a given that they will last much longer that my stay in this house. For me, these faucets are simply perfect. Thanks! 5Play kitchen sink. Used for play kitchen faucet Attached with industrial strength velcro. Awesome. No idea if this would work real world cause it seems cheap, but perfect for our project. It's also really small. 5awesome price, awesome buy You cannot beat the price and quality of this faucet. I got it for my shop because the faucet that came with my sink leaked. I was so worried that I was going to have to shell out an arm and a leg to get one for the bathroom but this baby was less than twenty bucks and works just as well as a more expensive option. It is lightweight and might fail me in the future for being so frugal, and if it does I will come and update but it was super easy to install and looks nicer than your typical older crystal looking knobs. 5
