    Good except for the weak, unprotected securing tab The cable works fine, and directs my LAN cable towards the back of my laptop (from the connector on the right side). But I'm deducting one star because on the previous one I bought (same brand/model), the little tab that keeps it from falling out of the port it's plugged into broke (not off, but it no longer worked) after a year or so of pretty gentle use. The tab is NOT covered by the boot, as it is on many good cables. There's probably not much Tripp Lite can do about the weakness of the actual [generic?] plug, but a better boot probably would have helped protect the tab. Also I had to shave a tiny bit off the boot before the plug would seat properly in my laptop, on both the old and the new cable. Not hard to do, but a nuisance -- and not something I've encountered on any other LAN cables. 4Awesome niche cat6 cables I bought more than 40 of these angle Cat6 from Amazon and I am glad to say that none has failed me yet, top notch al the way from the look to performance. The only caveat is these are made a bit wide, so you will have a tough time when using these with switches as they don't go in easyright next to each other. You will need these angle Cat6 with the switches for sure (look at my pictures and you will see) 5This is a review for the Tripp Lite Cat6 Gigabit ... This is a review for the Tripp Lite Cat6 Gigabit Molded Patch Cable.There is not much to stay about this cable that you can't get from the other reviews or its product description. I was looking for a right angle cable, but settled for a down because I could go either way, and I trimmed out $8 in the price difference. If you can have your angle different, its worth trying each for the different pricing options, if not, just make sure you have enough length to cover your needs. 5High Quality "Flat Against the Wall" Ethernet Cable I'm so glad Amazon had this product. I hunted and hunted and almost didn't find it because I wasn't using the correct keywords. Do you have a LAN port behind a bookcase or other piece of furniture you'd like to place as close to the wall as possible? Then get this little cable. It works great. 5Excellent for tight spaces I bought this to be able to push a dresser up as close to the wall as I could when installing a wireless access point in the nursery. I paired it with a recessed outlet for power and the dresser nearly touches the wall now. The cable is very good quality and the connectors feel solid. As this is a specialty cable, it is on the high side for price compared to regular cables, but it solves the problem well. In my opinion, it was well worth the money. 5Needs to hit the gym. The 90 degree end is too fat to plug in side-by-side to my Juniper SRX110. I can get two next to each other (although they tweak the ports a bit). Three is too much of a squeeze, though.I found an alternative here on Amazon that has narrower casing and it works much better. 3Good quality space saving cable We have started to keep a collection of the various configurations of these angled patch cables in our installation vehicle because many of our video surveillance installations have equipment placed in tight quarters in weather proof equipment cabinets. These don't save a ton of space but the cable going up, down, left or right rather than straight out like that of a typical patch cable will condense things a bit and will keep pressure off of a patch cable that would be present with a normal configuration. Good quality construction. Be sure to study the different variations carefully so you are sure to get exactly what you need. The angles can go up or down, left or right and can be on one or both ends. 4I love this things as title says. I'm a little paranoid & don't want to or like when my cables look like their bent with a lot of pressure. this help relieve that & you don't have to worry about ever replacing that cable b/c it broke either on the outside or even internally with the separate cables (w/ I had before) just have to make sure you order the right 1 plus they also need to word this better cause I ordered the wrong 1 twice. 5Handy for wall-mount TV's! This is indispensable if you are mounting a TV to the wall, and it has an ethernet port that extends straight back from the back of the TV, as some do! (Why, I don't know) This creates a problem where the other cables extend out sideways, allowing for a flush fit, but a regular ethernet cable requires too much clearance away from the wall. This cable solves that problem. 4It's an ethernet cable with a 90 degree bend at a connector! This is an excellent cable with the 90 degree bend on one end. I have a filing cabinet drawer that always bumps my old cable, but now with this I have plenty of clearance and don't have to worry about ripping the cable out of the wall.Only downside is they cost considerably more than a regular cable. 4
