QUALITY, SHARP, FUNCTIONAL, ATTENTION TO DETAIL This sleeve is great, first of all if you're ordering this in late 2018 and beyond this is the NEW version that only opens on the end, it doesn't unzip all the way. Which alleviates some concerns with the previous iteration spilling everything out when opened up all the way. This sleeve is very high quality with YKK zippers, good stitching and accurate dimensions. The pockets and ELASTIC BANDS in the outside pocket are extremely useful. I now have started carrying this every single day for my surface, charger, phone accessories, battery bank, etc. The padding under the zipper so it doesn't scratch your device, fit and finish of this sleeve make it a winner. It's surprising they can produce something this well thought out and quality for this price. 5Perfect for the surface pro. Perfect for surface. I was looking for something not very bulky but that would fit cords and other accessories. This is perfect. I love it. Great quality too. 5Very Protective/Minimalistic Bag - Accessory Pocket has Significant Design flaws This sleeve provides very good protection for my Surface Pro 4. It works well as a minimalist bag when I only need my tablet and perhaps a Paper notepad. The Surface Pro 4 fits very snugly and the padded edges and corners give me a great sense of confidence that my tablet will survive a short drop or fall while in the bag. The accessory pouch, however, has two flaws. It is not quite thick enough to manage the power brick/cord AND any of the necessary dongles (NIC, Display, etc.) and certainly too tight for a mouse, cell phone or wallet with the power supply.. Secondly, if the accessory pouch is unzipped when you extract your tablet, everything in the accessory pouch falls out. It is an odd design where the zipper for the accessory pocket opens toward the top of the case, but the zipper for the tablet opens towards the bottom of the case. These design flaws have been addressed in other versions of the bag https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY6ODOL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Overall I like the bag and will likely buy more and recommend to others. 4Check the sizes - this is only for the NEW Macbook Air I didn't pay attention to the sizes and had to return this and order the larger one for my older Mackbook Air. It's a good bag tho, solid and well cushioned on the corners and sides and I like the vertical opening so I can put it vertically in my carryon bag and just slide it out to work while in flight without having to remove the entire case. Love the pocket in front too for holding the power cord and other USB charging cords. 5Love this tiny little case. This is the cutest little briefcase I've ever seen. My 13" Apple MacBook Air fits in it like a glove, even with a hardshell case on it. The Tomtoc carrying case is tight and well padded, keeping my MacBook Air nice and secure. I have dropped the case with my computer in it a couple of times without any impact at all. The Tomtoc case only opens on one side, making it easy to slip your MacBook in and out, without the risk that your computer will slip out on its own. I also love the front pocket with a lot of carrying space for cords, a phone, accessories, pens, pad of paper, you name it. The whole Tomtoc case fits easily in my shoulder tote, making it a cinch to take my laptop with me wherever I go. 5Updated !! Got a quick replacement. Updated review !! Tomtoc was very responsive, sent me a free replacement fast. I am updating my rating accordingly. Maybe the first piece was a off-chance defect.The product looked awesome, and worked well for the first month.Now the bag is coming apart, and I am a light user. I was worried while reading through reviews, because of the price point. I can honestly say that i am presently surprised. It feels durable, the color is vivid, and the handle is comfortable. In the side pocket, I can easily fit a mouse, the charging cable, an I-phone cable, headphones, and still have pockets left with space to fit more. The only thing that i would suggest to the prospective buyer, is to decide what type of traveler you are. They offer a satchel-like product with a shoulder strap for the minimalist. I like to include this in my backpack carry-on. Overall, im sure these will double in price soon. 5Best Protection for Surface Pro 4 This is a great protective sleeve for your Surface Pro 4, it's the best one out there by far.Pros:-Carrying handle makes it easy to hold,-It's not just a sleeve, it'a full on-briefcase for storing anything else you might need for your Surface. It has plenty of room for the Surface Pen, a real pen, the charger, a USB charger for your phone that you can plug into the same power brick that the Surface uses (one of the smartest things I've seen Microsoft do in a while), a notebook, a bluetooth mouse, and some headphones.-Padding inside the zipper makes for a well-protected carrying pouch. There is a barrier of soft padding inside the zipper that completely surrounds the Surface Pro 4, it's easy to unzip just one side of the sleeve and slide in the surface and it gets surrounded and protected.-It's Spill Resistant. Actually just recently tried this (by accident) in an airport before security. I had to get rid of my water and happened to spill some after I placed my Surface in this sleeve on the ground. The water just rolled right off, and my device and other items were fine. Very impressed.-Build quality is extremely high. This feels sturdy, it's a product that I don't think I'll be replacing anytime soon, and you'd be hard pressed to find something build this nicely.Cons:-The only con I can think of is the very tight straps inside the pouch for other items, it's difficult to fit things inside the stretching straps. How safe is my tablet if I can't even slip it in or out easily? Once in, the Surface Pro fits fine, but I don't want to have to struggle to get it in or out. I need a case in which it's easy to slip in the tablet and get it out without effort and worrying that I may drop it as I struggle with it. That's a problem I have already with it's old carrying case.Also, by itself, the Surface Pro with keyboard fits but cannot fit a Surface Pro in a folio case...that zipper opening just isn't meant to be pried open that much. After much effort I did manage to get it in with a folio case on but it wouldn't zip shut...it stuck out too much.I'll stick with this since I am in need but to recommend this to anyone, nope...keep shopping. This case is flawless. Every part of it is made out of great material. The handle is extremely sturdy and retracts in and out of the top to show that it has a little give and also to lay flat when not being held, the zippers are made out of a really strong metal, the straps on the inside of the front pocket hold the charger and stylus for the Surface Pro 3/4 very well and have rubber on them to prevent things from slipping out, and the inside of the actual case is made out of very soft fur-like material that completely cushions your device. Another thing that I liked is that there is a hard plastic piece between the inside of the front pocket and the inside of the whole case; I like this because if i stick chargers and cables and flash drives etc into the front pocket it won't bump through to the inside where my surface pro is being held.Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this case and I'm really happy I chose this over the others I was considering. 5
