Husband prefers over his! Love my new tape measure! I had to start buying pink tools so my husband won't use and misplace. Nothing worse than needing my tape measure and it's missing from its place. The only problem is that it's such a nice tape measure, my husband prefers it over all of his! Hands off! 5Quality Tools I grabbed these while they're still available since Pinkbox Tools are becoming hard to find. We have several of their tools that we like alot and these didn't disappoint. They're decent quality for the cost and my wife loves the bright pink. It's not necessary but makes it super easy for her to identify her tools when there are several others working on the same project. 5A Multi-Tool for Multi-Tasking Just when I didn't think it was possible, Original Pink Box has made yet another phenomenal tool for women! There is only one small suggestion I have for this tool - it would be true PERFECTION if a rubber coating could be applied to these handles, just like most other Original Pink Box tools have. It would make this fantastic tool even more awesome - and it would feel better in the hand while increasing the grip the user is able to get when hands are a little mucky. All the tools hidden in this compact multi-tool are useful - and I have found that they all lock securely into place and function as they should! (Several of the tools on my last multi-tool would try to fold up as soon as you exerted any pressure on them.) I love that these tools are pink - and bright pink?? Couldn't be better! (I am quickly becoming their spokesperson...do you hear that Cala Industries??) This multi-tool, just like the rest of the line - fits perfectly in my hand. I love that Original Pink Box understands that a woman likes her tools to reflect some style, and maybe created a little differently from a tool that men handle...but they understand that women are tough and can kick butt, too. Just because we enjoy pink tools doesn't mean we want lesser quality, or wimpier stuff. Every tool I have from Original Pink Box (which is nearly all at this point) is durable, well made, and able to get the job done. I had a few pink tools before, but they were embarrassingly unimpressive. Skinny and wimpy. I'm a woman, not a quivering wimp who wants to "pretend" to fix things. Pink tools of the past (think Lillian Vernon, etc) were ridiculous and provided no muscle. The one time I used the sad, tiny hammer, I was so afraid the head was going to fall off that I couldn't even hang the picture I wanted to hang. It's about time tools were produced "strong enough for a man, but made for a woman". HahaBottom Line: YOU NEED THIS TOOL. The fact that you are considering it enough to be reading the reviews means you need this. Even if you aren't ready to commit to a full set of tools - or even a full set of pink tools. (Although pink IS what the cool kids are using these days.) Pliers, serrated knife, file, screwdrivers, bottle opener...I can't even remember what else this tool includes. I do know that it comes with a very fun carrying case - that is also pink. Whether you keep this in your junk drawer, glove box, or tool bag, you will use this tool a lot. I do. And I adore that it's pink - it's so easy to find, and keep. I know my handyman or my sons aren't going to walk off with it like they do with my "blah" tools...although every single one of them have commented on how "sturdy" and "tough" the tools are, and "how well they work". Pffft what did they expect?? 5Pink Box Screw Driver Set. Can't go wrong with pink tools This review is long overdue by 2 years. As the daughter of a contractor who builds custom homes and has become the contractor who doesn't have alot of tools? Not to mention being on job sites how many tools get lost or "borrowed", but with having custom pink tools where can you go wrong. Not only does the pink fill my girly side on the job site but none of my male sub contractors want to touch my tools. I love it. I buy every tool I can find in pink. This particular line is really great quality even compared to craftsman and the price is better than anything at Sears or Harbour Freight. I've purchased many of the accompanying tools because of their durability, quality, and price. I must add that I use them all the time and several years later with cleaning them off from use they look brand new and are in great shape. I would purchase again if I ever need to. 5But it's pretty clear that this one isn't theirs After loosing countless orange and yellow tape measures while construction crew and painters were around, this one has survived. I'm not saying that these guys took the tape measures with intent - everybody's looks the same. But it's pretty clear that this one isn't theirs. All other features and benefits are basically the same except I like the addition of the measure marks noted with numbers. 5A nice set as a gift for a 17-18 year old girl starting out. Or a house wife looking for a set of tools! I do like this set. I do. Really. It's actually just perfect in size and using them for cutting things (usually zip ties) works great. Really, they are just a distinctive gift that will make you look super thoughtful because this type of gift will be unlike anything else. I have this set as a house set of tools so that I don't inadvertently permanently borrow my hubby's!I can't honestly and truly give it 5 stars. It's not quite the same quality as his. So, if the quality is ANY less than his, I'm not going to give it 5 stars. But take that with a grain of salt. It's worth buying and giving as a gift. 4I'm grandmother-age and not a bad "handyman. " However I'm grandmother-age and not a bad "handyman." However, for many years, everybody in the family has borrowed my tools and then not brought them back. Later, I find them in the cellar, in the garage, in someone's trunk, or in a family member's tool box. Buying pink tools solved the problem. They are rarely borrowed, and if they are, they are brought back because it's so obvious they not random family tools. I also bought the utility knife and tape measures. They all work well, of course, but they have the added advantage of being very identifiable. And the pink is not the obnoxious Barbie pink, but more of a dark raspberry. I am a happy DIYer now. 5Good looking crap screwdrivers look tempered but they are not. Don't buy unless you just like pink. These are crap tools. They look nice but are subpar. Do you see how the tips of the screwdrivers are colored. They are meant to look as if they have been tempered. Not the case. They have just been dipped in black paint to give it that look. Would not buy these again. 1No complaints! I have now used this tool For a while and can confidently say that it is worth the money. I mostly use it on our camping trips. But if I'm not camping, I have it in the car and I have used it on multiple occasions for various reasons. I love that the players are spring-loaded. The accessories come out easily as long as you have any sort of fingernail. They also lock well in place until you push the button to release them. It doesn't have scissors, but I always have my knife readily available so that's not a problem for me. At the bottom of the players however, I did use the closing section to cut wire the other day. It worked perfectly. Plus, it's pink and stylish. Matches my pink buck knife perfectly 5Don't waste your money. The tools are really nice in appearance and look quite sturdy. The "pouch" is not remotely designed to hold the items securely. I bought this because I needed the stubby screwdriver with the bits and it also contained the little wrench and hammer which was a plus. The bits do not sit tightly in the screwdriver and keep falling out. Aaaargh! I just reread the reviews...I hadn't noticed, prior to purchase, that most of the happy reviews had bought them for CHILDREN! The others reviewed on appearance and feel, but NOT on performance. Within the first five minutes, a screwdriver bit fell out. I replaced it in the handle and the bit stayed loose, even after I tapped it with a little pressure. I've already lost one bit and I haven't yet completed this little 2 shelf piece I'm assembling. VERY disappointed. If I find that bit, this sucker's getting returned. 2
