    Very nice antenna (and it looks cool too I used to get only 2 stations on my FM tuner. Now I get at least a dozen. And the antenna is omnidirectional. The signal boast is adjustable and it really works. The signal strength indicator on my FM tuner increases when the antenna boast is increased. Very nice antenna (and it looks cool too!) 4A must have antenna for clear reception. This is my second TERK antenna I've bought. The first one I use at home to make my radio signals come in crystal clear. These work very good, but obviously won't amplify any signal that's just not there. So you might not get every station, but the ones on your fringe areas should come in nice and clear with this antenna. The second one I bought I use at work. I work in an all metal industrial building. Even the closest local stations fade in and out, or at times will not even come in, and at best, most of the time had tons of static. I connected this antenna, and even tough I don't get a bunch of new channels, the local channels are now crystal clear. These antennas are very easy to connect. It comes with an adapter to connect to different stereo receiver antenna types. It also works to boost AM radio channels. I highly recommend this antenna if your signal strength is less than perfect. 5Did good for me Purchased this amplified indoor antenna to get better pickup from the local stations. On my receiver, the AM/FM antenna was just a couple wires I draped over a wall mounted mirror beside where my stereo sits. I was getting about a 30-mile radius for reception. Once I plugged in this TERK unit, that radius expanded out to nearly a 100 miles. I was picking up stations very well from 86-miles away with an issue. I know there are some who don't think this unit does anything. I for one says it does real good for me. 5Improves reception as advertised We could not receive all our local stations using only the amplifier antenna. Our AV guy (who set up our surround sound system) suggested that I buy an AM/FM amplified antenna. After looking at several available on Amazon, I chose the TERK. It was easy to setup and works perfectly, even though I have it behind the case that holds all of our AV equipment. We're able to receive all the local stations we could not receive without the amplified antenna. 5... ago at a garage sale and it still works perfect. Bought another for my office Home Theater and ... I found one these 30 years ago at a garage sale and it still works perfect. Bought another for my office Home Theater and it works great. My walls all plaster and metal lath. You can't even get TV signals through them but my AM/FM is strong. 5This product works great! I now get my favorite radio stations when before buying this I got none. I have a stereo amp setup in my upstairs office/music room that I use to listen to CD's. However, I was not able to tune in any AM or FM stations, even though I had the standard type wire antenna connected, and had the amp & antenna located right next to a window at the front of my home. I thought I would try this TERK indoor antenna to see if I could at least get some reception. I am pleased to report that I now get both AM & FM stations, even with the power supply turned off via the switched AC outlet I plugged it into. With the power supply on and the dial turned up, I get even more radio stations. Well worth the $24 investment! 5The TERK works fine and no need to adjust any antennae for each station I received my Terk today, one day earlier than promised. It was easy to hook up. I had been using a decades old indoor antenna mad to be used with a TV, with a 15-30 watt amplification and 2 large antenna sticking up to the ceiling over a bookshelf.My favorite PBS station came in as well as the old one with no amplification like the old one. A weak local university of golden oldies came in with a little amplification, the old ant. needed at least 15 watts to come in clearly.I also get in several other FM stations with some amplification clearly, I used to barely get them in and often not in stereo or clearly.Also I get in a bunch of AM stations, although I almost never listen to them. The tuner came with an odd square AM ant. but I could never get anything in with it.All in all the Terk works better and no large antenna in the room that I had to keep moving around for each station I wanted to receive. 5Ideal for my situation I did a lot of research before buying this amplified antenna, and I saw reviews with everything from "great" to "don't buy it." For my intended use, it worked remarkably well. My situation was this: A building with metal 2x4s within about 35 miles of New York, with a "retro" AM/FM radio that had a simple one-wire antenna. Before: One station came in, and badly. After: Multiple stations came in clearly. It made the difference between a useless but pretty radio and one that can be enjoyed. I have no idea if this antenna would do as well in other situations, but in my case, it performs very well. Why not 5 Stars? There are still some favorite stations that do not come in. 4... was supplied with my receiver in hopes of getting better FM reception I used this to replace the standard wire antenna that was supplied with my receiver in hopes of getting better FM reception. My favorite local broadcast comes in more clear now than ever before. I think that following the instructions for setup is key to getting the most out of this product. 5I don't like things illuminated at night The lighted dial is unneeded, I don't like things illuminated at night. The reception is ok, a bit better than my standard T wire antenna that came with the stereo. It pulls in a couple more stations that were static filled, but very succeptable to placement, just moving it a tiny bit makes those fringe stations fade into statc again. So don't expect miracles. (This is in an apartment in a major city). If you have a home, get a rooftop antenna for FM, not indoor, there's really nothing out there for compact indoor FM that works great (FM needs specific length of wire to work well, and it's all coiled up inside this unit - that's why a "T" style dipole antenna works well.)UPDATE: This works good if I move it constantly to find the sweet spot, many times it works better while I'm holding it or near it. Once I set it down move it around and the reception fades. It's just too annoying to have to keep moving it all the time, it doesn't really blend in well. 2
