    Badly fitted, makes phone unusable. A spiffy looking case that will definitely protect your phone, so long as you don't mind not being able to use the power or volume buttons. The hard plastic shell makes the case unusable as advertised, since it constantly presses down on the volume buttons or the power button, depending on which side you tried to slip it in from. Fortunately the manufacturers seem to have accounted for this, because the soft rubber interior cushion can be used alone for moderate protection as a kind of stop-gap measure while you wait for a new case in the mail. I wouldn't advise it for long term use, but it should hold up until your replacement case arrives.I know it's cheap, I know it looks slick, but it's really not worth your money. It's junk. Whether you buy it or not it is destined for a landfill, don't be the middleman. 1I prefer to have a case where the phone doesn't slip out of my hands easily which happened with this case 3 stars because of personal preferences not met and for the quality. The case does protect all around and helps protect the screen by having a little overlap.The gray silicone tore near the top as I put it on the first time. The material is the quality for which you pay. I prefer to have a case where the phone doesn't slip out of my hands easily which happened with this case. Kept it as a back up for my phone since I bought two at once. It is a bit chunkier than the Agent18 Galaxy s4 case I purchased, but that is because this case is a two piece cover (silicone and plastic). If you are looking for a case that will cover your phone and is cheap, this is one option. 3Looks wonderful, but the problems outweigh the aesthetics I was looking for a case with a textured back for my S4 (model SCH-1545, which this case is supposedly compatible with) after my prior favorite was no longer in stock. I thought this case would be a good replacement.It looks absolutely beautiful. The texture of the hard plastic was exactly what I was looking for, but that's about all it has going for it.The minute you snap that hard plastic cover over the silicone, the phone goes completely haywire. The cover over the volume buttons turns the volume completely off no matter how you press the volume button. Apparently, this confuses the entire phone when this happens. Things were opening when they shouldn't have been and it took me a minute or so before I realized the case was responsible. Further inspection also revealed several of the holes on the silicone case itself (meant to expose the headphone jack, microphone, and the USB port for charging, among other things) did not align properly and partially covered things that were not meant to be covered. Not sure if this contributed to what I experienced, but it certainly didn't help.If I could give this zero stars, I absolutely would. Sadly, that's not an option. Listen to the negative reviews. Save your money. 1Great case for a klutz! I absolutely love this case! I've dropped my phone a couple of times and it's kept it nice and protected. The color is great and the rubber on the ends prevents it from sliding around. I'd definitely buy another one. 5A little difficult to put on Other than some difficulty getting the case on properly, I haven't had any problems with it. At first, when I thought I'd had the case on well, it was giving some problems with the buttons, however, once adjusted it settled. Very snugly fitting case. I drop my phone at least once a week, and sometimes several times a day (because I'm just clumsy like that). Haven't had any problems with the phone after a drop (never have, regardless of the case, so I don't know how much to attribute to the protection capabilities of the case :/ - just thought I'd mention it). The front of the case is little more shallow than I'm used to so I'm a little worried about the screen, in the event of more falls, but I'm hoping for the best.The color isn't quite what I expected but it's not insanely far off and it's not ugly so I won't fret about it.It's cute, non-bulky and doesn't hamper access to the charging port (plus my phone is still well and good despite a couple falls), so I'd call it an overall good buy. 4Terrible phone case for the GalaxyS4 Terrible phone case for the GalaxyS4! No matter how hard I tried to position the case when it was installed on the phone it managed to push on both the volume button and the power button. This caused the phone to repeatedly reboot in safe mode. If I managed to get the case to not push on the power button it would hold down on the volume button and the volume would not be adjustable. 1Has already saved my phone! This phone case is actually 2 pieces - a soft rubber inner layer, with a rigid plastic outer layer, but it provides good protection. It has made my phone significantly bigger, which was a bit off-putting, but I've gotten used to it and the security it has provided more than makes up for the added bulk. It's very easy to grip/hold onto, but that of course makes it more difficult to slide it in/out of pockets or purse. Overall, I would buy it again. I like the quality and the added protection. 4Survived a 25Mph fall from my hood to the street/shoulder I must confess this case saved my phone from disaster. I left the darn thing on my hood and long story short, I ended up finding it the next day about a half mile from home... I first saw the back of my phone without the case on it, I then looked 'upstream' and the case was cracked and sitting just on the shoulder of the road. INCREDIBLE. NOT A SCRATCH on my Samsung. I was actually thinking I was going to be getting/buying a new phone but this case saved it. So needless to say, this is the second purchase and I'm hoping for same level of protection as before. Photos are from my old case that allowed my phone to survive the 25mph swerve test 5Nice case for a decent price I had similar cases like this that I purchased from Walgreens and liked it. I also had the same one for the iPhone in our family of phones. Both started showing their age, along with the kid picking at it and peeling the rubber off the backs of them. This one looked like my old one, different color, but offered the same feel and protection. Unfortunately, we have dropped both phones before and they were protected. The price on this was at least $10 cheaper than Walgreens. 5Disappointed with fit of outer plastic case I wanted to love this. Love the color and love the general feel of it. The inner silicone wrapper fits fine with all of the holes lining up correctly. The problem is that the plastic case is not deep enough to properly fit over it. The holes seems to line up, but if the volume controls are in perfectly, the other side has a gap and I can't use the power button....and vice versa. I had read other reviews about having to fiddle with getting everything to line up, so spent a fair amount of time trying to see if it was a matter of the inner piece not being in the exact position. But moving that at all pulls from the opposite side such that the edge of the phone could slip out. It's so close to being a great case that it's just disappointing. 2
