Exceeds Expectations - Easy Install Exceeded my expectations. I was concerned about putting a screen protector on my new iPad Pro 9.7. I didn't want to mess with the TruTone feature. I didn't want to mess with the Apple Pencil capabilities (the reason I bought the iPad Pro.):1) Installation - so easy. Clear instructions, The two suction cups included for placement is genius!2) Thin - Strong yet thin. So you don't get the feeling that the pencil isn't really on the screen. It works perfectly with the pencil or touch. It doesn't interfer3) Clarity - You can not tell this thing is on unless you look closely. TrueTone feature works perfectly with this on4) Fingerprints - I think this actually MAY be a little better than the actual iPad screen at resisting fingerprints. Not certain but it seems that way.I hope they can continue to offer for this price and that they sell a lot of these. This product greatly exceeded my expectations! 5Line Up Home Button First! I went to the website suggested by the instructions and watched the video and I also read the directions completely before I attempted to install the screen saver. So glad the company has videos available to watch. I know how easy these things are to mess up. In saying that, my mistake was not lining up the Home button first. Since I had not pressed it down, I took a kitchen knife & lifted it back off. 2nd try, lined up the Home button cut out perfectly & then slowly laid the glass down while keeping a check on the Home button to make sure I wasn't moving the bottom half of the screen. It installed just fine. I then used a large, rubber eraser wrapped in the microfiber cloth to rid the area of bubbles. I found a credit card to flimsy. All went well. I do suggest lining up the Home button first & not pressing it down until you have it completely like you want it. As far as commenting on protection, scratch resistance etc, I'll have to wait until a different time, as I just recently purchased my iPad Pro. 5Excellent product that was easy to apply for someone who always had problems applying screen protectors I normally do not write reviews right after receiving and using a product, but this time I felt compelled to do so. I used Tech Armor products in the past for my other iPads as well as cell phone. I always liked the product, but never could get the protectors on "perfectly"-there was always some issue, such as bubbles or bumps. And the "plastic" protectors never felt natural. For my new iPad Pro, I wanted to keep the feel of the smooth screen and hesitant to buy another plastic protector (I also purchased the Apple Smart Cover & silicone case, but feared damage would still occur to the screen). I decided to finally try the tempered glass screen protector. There were others with great ratings on Amazon, but decided to purchase Tech Armor due to using the product before and the fact it 1. There was no need to use any liquids and 2. Suction cups. I have to say, I never had an easier time apply a screen protector. I did not watch the video. I did follow the instructions. The package contains several pieces of tape to collect stray dust, hair, etc. So there is almost no possibility of trapping any dust if you clean the screen thoroughly (with either the provided wipe or your personal preference for cleaning the screen) and then use the tape strips. I kept the strip readily as I noticed when I moved or started another step, there was dust again on the screen. So keep using the tape right until you apply the protector. The auctions cups are genius. I do not have steady nor dainty hands for a female. I did find the Suction cups a little small, but I was able to use them success. The Suction cups allowed me to easily align the screen and as I slowly lowered the protector to the screen it was as if the protector was attracted to the screen. It adhered super easy and I was able to attain almost perfect alignment. Upon removal of the Suction cups I had two air bubbles. However, I was able to resolve this bubbles by gently pushing them several times with my index and middle fingers toward the edge. It took a few minutes, but then I had my iPad Pro with a new protector, although it did not look as though there was any protector on it. Thus far it works and feels as it did before applying the protector. Yes, there will be finger prints-the protector is glass. However, I noticed it doesn't seem to collect prints as readily as the screen itself. So I think there is some resistance to prints. It does not prevent glare, but it does not seem to effect the iPad Pro. I have not used it outside yet, so I cannot comment to any difference in the sunlight with the protector. But based on using it indoors and on other reviews I think there is little effect on the screen glare. One last note-taking directions do state that this is a one use protector, so it is important you follow the directions and take your time. It only took me 5 minutes to successfully install the protector and my iPad Pro was ready to use. You cannot remove and reset the protector once you press it on. So be sure to place it lightly first to ensure you have it placed correctly before pressing it down on the screen to make it stick. If you only lightly placed it on the screen you should be able to gently pull it off and realign it. Thankfully I had the suction cups positioned well and got it aligned on the first shot. I am more than please with the product. Now here is hoping that I never break it!One other thing -I do not have an apple pen yet so I cannot comment using the pen with the screen protector. I will update the review when I finally purchase and use the pen.UPDATE 9/30/16: I noticed today a crack in the glass. I have no idea how it occurred as I never dropped it or dropped anything on the screen. It is very odd. I only noticed it a I felt a little snag when I was using the touchscreen. I reduced my original review from 5 stars to 4 as I expected the screen to last much longer without any cracking etc as I it undergoes extremely little "normal" wear and tear.UPDATE 10/26/16: I have not had a chance to further comment on the crack mentioned in my last update. About 2 weeks ago, I had to travel by plane. I had my iPad Pro with my in a large tote bag along with my Mac. There was ample room in the tote bag. However, at some point on the trip, the crack turned into a large crack which spread across the screen (see attached photo). I was so happy with this purchase and installation now I am extremely disappointed in its lack of durability. I will note that I was able to easily remove the protector, and there was no damage to my screen underneath. There was just some residual residue and it easily came off. So my rating is more like 3.0 - 3.5 stars. I am most likely not going to purchase another tempered glass screen saver (esp. from tech armor) based on this experience. I most likely will go back to the annoying film type screen protectors. At least I know they last when put on correctly. 3and made me aware they were going to make my order good. I was very impressed by their immediate attention ... I am very impressed with the company overall and the product. On my original order, the order was cracked and when i opened it, i emailed the company customer service department to notify them of my misfortune with this product. They immediately replied to my email, at 11 pm, and made me aware they were going to make my order good. I was very impressed by their immediate attention to my issue, and their resolution is immediate as well. I will definitely recommend them to my family members and friends, and to anyone wanting a quality product from a vextremely reliable and trustworthy source. I now feel better knowing my Ipad Pro 9.7 is properly secured by the product of TechArmor. I guarantee you, I will never again purchase any protection for my expensive Ipad Pro 9.7 from another place that is not TechArmor!! 2 thumbs up!! 5Good protection. I don t know why, but this screen protector went on more smoothly than the prior one I had. And then I noticed that there was a piece of dust under the very edge of the lower left hand edge. Instead of pulling it up and risking non-adhesion on a second application, I left it the way it was. Not the manufacturer s fault, so it still gets a thumbs up. Just make sure you clean the iPad s screen COMPLETELY before applying it. 5I think they are by far one of the best. I have many different companies/brands and different thicknesses ... For all my apple products I have purchased this from tech armor. I think they are by far one of the best. I have many different companies/brands and different thicknesses and this one is by far the easiest to apply. I always hate applying these cause you get air trapped and it's almost impossible to squeeze it out. But this glass screen protector is thicker and you apply it with these 2 suction cups. If comes with simple instructions and it works great. I've used it on my iphones and now ipads. I also had a microsft surface tablet at one point and I bought it for that too.As far as offering screen protection I can tell you that I've been known to drop things before and so far so good. Mostly it falls off my bed which is about 3 feet high and it falls onto carpet. I haven't had anything sharp hit it yet. I hope I never have that happen. 5There's Nothing More I Could Ask for! I have been using Tech Armor products for few years now and have no issues so far. When I first got my iPad Air 2, there was no glass protector in the market so ended up installing plastic screen protector. It's not that bad but once you experience the glass, you are never going back to plastic one. I have been enjoying Tech Armor glass screen protector on my iPhone 6 Plus and ordered this one as soon as I knew that I am getting a new iPad Pro. Since iPad has flat surface (not like iPhone 6/6S/7), it has edge to edge protection with perfect cut-out for Touch ID sensor. There used to be a camera hole on previous screen protectors, however, there is no compromise on picture quality or overall camera performance. Overall, an excellent quality product at affordable price range ($11.95 as of 10/05/2016) with life time warranty, and there's nothing more I could ask for. 5One Cracked in My Hands at The Corner-- with Gentle Wiping- Other Made Bubble City! Bought 2 of these. The first one I put gloves on to make sure there were no fingerprints on either side as which side is up is confusing when you are allready anxious about messing up. Why not a this side up on the label?????? The left lower corner cracked in my hands with no particular pressure except wiping!! Box makes no mention that they provide suction cup tools or any tool to apply so I applied the way I have always applied my phone covers. After the first one cracked with WIPING I had no choice but to open the 2nd back up protector I bought and now I was afraid and applied it relatively swiftly. There are now 6 bubbles remaining even with trying their supposed getting bubbles out method with a credit card for 15 minutes. After 40 minutes and my husband trying with his big hands there are 2 bubbles remaining that won't move.Twenty dollars down the drain and don't bother contacting them-- they don't care. Had an issue with a prior glass for my son's Samsung and they never replaced it even after saying they would. Stop asking for feedback when you don't stand behind your product like the box claims. I find it hard to believe this is ballistic glass I received with how easily it cracked in my hands. 1Missing items from package - COULD NOT INSTALL. I normally go with Tech Armor products for any of my smart devices to protect the screens. The screen protectors usually work quite well and do their job of which it was intended for. However this time I was severely let down and the first time I have encountered from a product I have ordered on Amazon. I live outside the US, so I ordered this protect to fit my iPad Pro 9.7" on Amazon and shipped to my US skybox address which was shipped and delivered to my home. I ordered it on the 1st September and received it today which is good. However upon open the box, and after starting the installation process, I realise the bubble remover was missing. Even more so there was no Side 2 labeled or tab and I could not remove the plastic to pull off to set on my screen. I tried for more than an hour to remove it but my efforts were futile. So there I am left with the two suction cups on the side 1 and unable to install it on my iPad.I still believe in Tech Armor and I hope that someone that works there see this message and send me back a new screen protector package at no charge including the customs, duty and local delivery I had to pay my skybox.if anyone has an email address I can use to Tech Armor for this purpose, I'd appreciate if you let me know what it is.Overall I'm disappointed in this experience and it delays me using my iPad outdoors as I prefer for security and protections reasons, install these protectos first before carrying it about. 1Suction cups and video tutorials The product arrived a day ago, so I will have to update this review once I've had a chance to see how it holds up over time. The packaging was good, and everything was clearly labeled. The install was fairly easy, especially if you have any experience installing glass protectors on smaller devices. They included a paper with instructions and a link to a video library of tips, tricks, and installation instructions. The problem? I had to search for the site, because the URL indicated in their instructions wasn't valid.Once I found their videos, it made the process easier overall. Specifically, since this protector is for a much larger device, they had included 2 small suction cups to help users handle the glass without contaminating the surface (dust, prints, etc). The video walked through the steps to prepare the device and use the suction cups for placement, which was great. For my fat monkey fingers, the "nub" you use to hold the suction cups was almost too small/short to grasp with any confidence. I'd love for these to have a slightly better grip surface for people to hold the protector as you line it up.Again, I've only had this installed for less than 24 hours, so I haven't gained any observations on how the protector actually holds up to use. 5
