    Exactly what's needed in a standoff Though there's not a lot of complexity in brass motherboard standoffs, they have to be very consistent in manufacture, and done to spec, namely:* All male threads work* Each hex head is the same exact length* All female threads work* 15-pack has 15These characteristics are all true for this, so it's as good as it can be. I check them ahead of time since finding out the hard way while you've got a motherboard in your hands, halfway mounted in the case, but you're stymied because one is cross-threaded, is just not a good situation to be in.No complaints, and I'll re-order as needed. 5Pretty good Pretty good, but the copper standoffs provided will not fit standard threaded case screws - so I couldn't use thumb screws like I have on other builds. Otherwise, it's a nice kit. 4StarTech Mounting PC Case Fan Screws - 50 Pack FANSCREW Silver Saw a lot of complaints about stripping and low quality metal...I call user error.Take your time and use the correct tool without too much torque and you will have no issues.Mounted five fans in a new build and these screws all worked flawlessly, not a single stripped head. 5Startech parts save my build I decided to repair an older microATV PC that had been sitting around collecting dust. I decided to repace the PSU, Motherboard, CPU and RAM with some new parts. I also wanted to install a new Blu-ray burner, SSD and HDD. I had all these great parts and realized that I didn't have any of the screws from when I scrapped the inards of the machine. I looked all over the house for anything that might serve to attach my new parts .... No Joy.I looked on Amazon and found the #6-32x1/4" screws at a great price. The screws were perfect for attaching the motherboard, HDD and also for the reattaching the drive bay and the case covers. I also bought a bag of the M3-1/4" which attached the SSD and the Blu-ray burner.I also searched for items by Startech and found they make a lot of other small parts that make a system build go a lot easier. 5So i bought these to use for the missing standoffs and they worked great. Were the perfect height as well Needed some standoffs as I had to modify a the Corsair 750D to accept a Supermicro motherboard which involved drilling new holes. So i bought these to use for the missing standoffs and they worked great. Were the perfect height as well. 5Sufficient screws These screws will do the job holding my eurorack modules. I think the heads are a bit wide though. They could've been a bit longer to be more effective; then I would've given 'em 5 stars. Price was very good. 4Thumb screws I saw the black thumb screws and they look like they've been painted black. Makes me question what kind of metal is under that paint and if it will rust. I figured I'd play it safe and get something I think is made of brass. 4PC Case Replacement Screws Just what I was looking for with PC case replacement screws. Well made and worked without an issue.I had gone to a local hardware store and asked about getting a screw like this. The guy working there told me that these kind of screws were not available anywhere. They didn't exist even though I was holding the same screw. I knew that I was at the wrong place. I didn't argue with him but I promptly got out of there and started looking on the Internet. So here we are as they say. 5They are what you Expect, a bit longer maybe They are about what you would expect from them. They are of reasonable quality and although not super hardy, for the price and the quantity they don't really need to be. They'll hold up for many uses and they have fit for all of my PC fan mounting and such.They are a bit longer than I expected at around 3/8 of an inch. It bothered me a little at first because sometimes these things are such a pain to screw in to a new case and a new fan but I know that sometimes if you have more case or fan to screw through, then the extra length will be more than welcomed. In this case, it is better too long than too short. For the price, quality, and quantity, I can easily recommend these. 5They arrived in time and the quality is noticeably better than that of the standard ones which came with ... Seriously - buy these. I bought a crappier Cooler Master case and a decent power supply for a new rig for my nephew. The quality of these screws is seriously outrageous. The screws which came with the motherboard, case, and power supply were okay. They had some slight threading issues and didn't quite line up with the threads of the case and PSU. I had some broken components (CPU) so I had to RMA most of my order. In the process I sent back the screws and didn't get new ones. Now I had all my components and no screws!I bought these in a bind and had them shipped Prime for next day (for free). They arrived in time and the quality is noticeably better than that of the standard ones which came with the Cooler Master safe. They're ATX certified so they fit anything in the case that isn't the thinner threads (forget which ones those are (6mm I believe)).It's hard to rave about screws, but seriously, these can't be beat. Noticeably better than anything I've put in ANY of my rigs to date from the manufacturer. I've ordered another set and will use them for every build I do in the future. 5
