Best Case for the S8+ I really like this case. The ridges help you get a good grip on the phone and the case provides great protection without adding extra bull. The side buttons are super easy to press and I can get to the head phone jack with no issues. Great case all-around. The best I've used for the S8! 5Excellent Case! Going on having this case for almost a month, this case is amazing! It's sleek, has an excellent grip on the back to keep my Galaxy 8+ from slipping out of my hand, and has as solid feel to it. This case makes the side buttons very easy to press, and the edge screen can still be used with ease. I was hesitant about spending the money but I'm glad I did, this is great quality :) Speck Products Presidio Grip Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus - Black/Black 5Not recommended I'm disappointed in this product. It is only a shell that sits around the back and sides of the phone with no protection for the screen. I guess I didn't pick up on that when ordering. Additionally because it does not offer protection for the screen I find that my device turns on when I have it in my pocket and I never know what screen will be displayed when I pull it out of my pocket. You can be sure these will be going back. 2Case did not work properly, started pressing on volume buttons After about two months, my phone randomly started increasing and decreasing the volume. I took the case off and it stopped. I put the case back on and it started again. I repeated this a few times and confirmed the case was the problem.$30 is pretty steep for a case so I'm a little disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it. 1Saved me in a pinch. Car tires + Phone below = no problem. To my surprise when I finally found the phone, to my surprise, only the screen protector was damaged. Peeling off the broken screen protector revealed a prefectly preserved S8+. The case itself is still going strong. I doubt I would have been this lucky on a harder surface but grateful for the protection offered. 5excellent grip The fit on this is nice and snug and there's no interference with the buttons which work perfectly. The lines are the grip part and I feel very secure holding it. I haven't dropped the phone yet (fingers crossed) but I'm fairly confident it would do a decent job protecting the phone. The missing star is for lack of screen coverage. Obviously I knew this when I bought it but I want to make sure people are aware there's no protection there. I did get an armorsuit military shield screen protector and the edges stay down perfectly with this scale on 4Protects ABOVE the curved screens! Speck, one of only 2 cases that come up 'above' the curved screen phones along the sides.. protecting the glass edges. The other is a well known massive bulky case, but these are much much easier in the pocket. Very grippy.. won't, won't accidentally slide out of hands. Nothing fancy, just reeeeally good protection. Oh.. i have 2 different companies cases, these, and a slim profile metal backed well known case. The other case, slim profile, slips out of hands very easily. The other brand also peels off the screen protectors which is a common complaint with these new curved screens. This case has NOT peeled off a screen yet.. because it sits ABOVE the screen, not below it. Very happy with this case! This is my 1st Speck case, and I will buy it 1st when its time for another new phone. 5For the klutz in your home If you re one of those people who end up with an armful of items as you walk out the door, only to have your phone fly out of your hand and onto *enter terror inducing hard surface here* then you need this case.I can t tell you how many times I ve dropped my phone. I believe it s a curse, really. My husband told me I was to much of a klutz to own an S8, they are too delicate and break easily.This case has protected the phone from falls on concrete, stairs, carpet, treadmills during runs, and countless falling out of the phone holder and under a car seat.I only buy speck cases. 5Quality not as expected for a $45 case. Silicone case already peeling around power button and I've only had it for less than 2 months. 1Dropped S8+ while up on ladder using the phone as flashlight but it's like the fall never happened My favorite line of phone case from Speck. It is my number one favorite phone case, hands down. The lines you see are raised so when you hold your phone, it gives you a good grip and doesn't make it slippery. I also have it for my other phone, Galaxy Note 9 and even on a large phone like that I have no trouble holding on to the phone. Some people may not like the feel of the rubbery texture and the looks but I recommend it strongly if you have butter fingers. If I'm getting top of the line phone, this line of case from Speck is what I would check first. I've accidentally dropped the phone from anout 10 feet up on a ladder and no phone damage, no scratch on the case (fell on wooden floor), no screen cracks. My heart stopped beating for a moment but when I checked the phone, there's nothing to indicate it fell 10ft at least from outside. Phone is still working perfectly fine even weeks after that huge drop. Good job on making this case Speck. I will be buying this line of case for my new phone in the future so I hope you guys make it for that phone. 5
