Beautiful. Feels great and you don't know it's even ... Beautiful. Feels great and you don't know it's even there. I thought it was going to be a pain to install but it was rather easy. Watched the video and did just what they said. I did it before bed so that I didn't mess it up by being too anxious. They say not to put on a case for 24 hours but I put this on my company Galaxy S8 and wouldn't dare leave the house without the case on it. It was fine as it had already mostly adhered overnight. I spent most of the day showing off. I'm VERY careful with my phones but they are shoved in pockets and purses and get dings and scuffs. This skin is still beautiful nearly a month later. 5Very important to follow the instructions. So I'll start by saying that I've only had this for a few days and so far it's good. When I first got the phone, these types (not this one in particular) of screen protectors were the only ones available. They didn't make the glass ones yet (for good reason). It worked for me for about a year and then some and it finally got icky at the edges and started feeling.I took it off and switched to my usual tempered glass ones. Let me tell you I've tried all sorts of those, from cheap Amazon brand to expensive best buy brands. They all sucked in one way or another. Touch sensitivity gone or more importantly they never stayed on the actual phone. Long story short after about $100 in glass screen protectors I decided to switch back to these. I happened upon this one and see so the positive reviews and they're not wrong.Note it's very important to go on there website and see the instructional video. It's pretty easy to screw this up if you don't. I'm sure that was the reason for more than a few lower star reviews. If you follow the directions and then pay with the edges, let it sit overnight you're sure to come in fine. It's super clear, doesn't even really feel like it's there. It also definitely fits under the case that I have so all in all I'm satisfied. Not sure how well it would do in a drop but that's what the case is for. 5Not a scratch! This screen protector literally saved my phone. Was at a wedding this weekend and drank a few too many fruity colored stuff, and by the time I noticed it, my phone was already on the ground for a while. I turned my phone over and found scratches all over the left side of the screen, deep cuts and scuffs. My heart sank and I peeled off the screen protector anticipating a heartbreak. There was a thin line that looked like a cut on the main screen, but it didn't leave any damage on my screen. The screen protector literally died, got fully penetrated, yet absorbed so much force that it didn't damage the screen at all. NOT A SCRATCH. I'm in need of a new screen cover since mine sacrificed for my phone, there's no doubt I'll get this again. Install process was simple, results were great. Protection factor is incredible.Thank you for making this thing so freaking awesome! Holy cow, until you get into a real accident you really can't appreciate it enough. 5Get the Armorsuit instead! DO NOT GET THIS. Get the Armorsuit instead. I have always had great success with the Armorsuit. This one offers 2x for the same price so I thought I give it a try. Well, that's $8 down the drain. It's much harder to put on. The material is very sticky and easy to attract dirt and hard to position. It does not come with the nice rubber squeegee like Armorsuit or IQShield. The length is too long - even I get the top part of completely align, the bottom is still scratching against the case and this causes bubble in the bottom. The surface also for some reason seems very sticky and attracts dirt easily and very hard to clean. 1screen protector for Galaxy S8 that actually works i'm very happy with this. i've tried three tempered-glass screen protectors since i got my Galaxy S8, and they were all a disaster. This works fine. It probably won't protect against shattering (but that's partly what the case is for, right? and who knows?), but it will protect against scratches and harm to the truly beautiful display on this phone. The instructions are clear and easy and correct. You can't just pull stuff out of the box and slap it on the phone and have that work out okay; you must actually read the instruction website or watch the video to do it right. But it's very simple and it works great. No loss of touch-sensitivity, no crap accumulating at the edges, no dimming of that lovely display, and it fits the phone's curve beautifully. 5Dont be scared! I was so nervous about the install on this - having to watch a video? Seemed too hard. But I wasn't happy with the regular application poly screen protectors and read all the bad reviews about tempered glass with curved screens.I watched the video once and went for it - SO EASY! I was nervous about the curved sides adhering - no need! a quick press down (didn't even need to hold for any time) and they stayed. I did have a couple spots push up on the edge once I put it back in the case, I wish I waited the full cure time to do that. However, I pressed them down and the seem to have re-attached fine,The touch sensitivity is perfect, and I actually like the feel better than when I had no screen guard.Very happy! 5Just found heaven in a screen protector :-) This screen protector is a jem, a gold mine, for the 'difficult to fit' curved screen Galaxy S8 and perfectly compatible on an UAG Monarch case! Still have my 2nd screen from this kit which I put away in the closet after having such a perfect and simple install on the first screen. Absolutely user-friendly, resulting in a screen with no bubbles after install, no bubbling up at the ends (top/bottom) after a couple days of use, good feel on fingers, just brilliance on Skinomi's part! The screen edges must have been laser-fitted for the UAG Monarch case, or both from the same litter, they fit so perfectly together. After a multitude of failed screen protectors on my S8, I was about to give up. Look no further people. Whether non-glass or worthless glass screen protectors, you will be 100% happy with this purchase. And so will your phone! Just trust me on this one. 5On behalf of my girlfriend So my girlfriend got her S8 a few days ago and already managed to get a couple small scratches. Silly me I had advised her against screen protectors because they're so hit or miss with these phones... That, and I personally never use them because I'm a perfectionist about them and it stresses me the heck out. But we got these due to there higher rating among competitors. I applied hers last night and although I don't understand the science behind it, the bubbles did in fact disappear overnight.The only criticism I have is that the one we applied seems like a slightly crooked cut. It may very well be my own error, but it all seems straight otherwise. The left side of her screen protector is clearly cut inward more than the right. The right side rests just at her spigen case and the left makes no contact. So far, it hasn't peeled up though. 5UPDATE: NOT AS GOOD AS I FIRST THOUGHT. UPDATE: THIS FILM PROTECTOR IS NOT CASE FRIENDLY. ON THEIR OTHER SITES, IT CLEARLY SAYS NOT CASE FRIENDLY. MY FILM PEELED OFF THE FIRST TIME I REMOVED MY SPECK PRESIDIO CASE. REALLY BUMMED. GOING TO TRY A DIFFERENT FILM PROTECTOR.Curved screens are good and bad, lets all just agree on that. Love how they look, but miss the flat screen and easy screen protector application. This Skinomi fil does the trick, after a bit of work is put into it. I am guessing many of the 1-star reviews are from people who didn't read the directions, watch the video or just weren't smart enough to make this work. I have been using these for years and they are great! Glass curved protectors almost never stay on and peel up easily. Once you get these on they are built to last and really do protect the screen FROM SCRATCHES. Those who gave 1 stars because their screen broke after a fall are delusional and expect too much. This is a film, not an airbag. It protects the screen from minor issues so know that going in. Skinomi has saved my phones again and again and I will continue to use them as long as I have curved screen phones, like my Galaxy S8. Also, Skinomi has excellent customer service and will replace protectors if they do not work well...they did this for me once and I was very impressed. 3Find me the perfect screen protector for the Samsung S8 or S8 plus Finally after trying five different products ranging from tempered glass to dry stick method, I have finally found the perfect screen protector for the Samsung S8. There is nothing better than the wet method which allows you to perfectly position, and squeegee out all imperfections. Yes there were a few little marks that I could not get out on the initial installation, and they went away after 30 minutes. The screen protector works perfectly around the curved edges, does not leave any fingerprint smudge from normal use, and seriously looks and feels as smooth as the glass underneath it. You must watch the video at least twice. You must wet your hands while you are installing it with the included spray. You must have patience sometimes it could take hours for any imperfections to disappear. Once they do you will be glad you chose this product. 5
