    Little Lamps That Can While you may be able to read at the brightest level, these lamps are mainly decorative/ambient, which is the only reason I purchased them. They are super light, very sensitive but absolutely fantastic and they work just fine. I just had to convince my 4-year-old who is fascinated by the touch-activation that they are not toys.Three settings are in the pictures.For the price, Nothing really can't beat this duo. If you are looking for reading lights, something sturdy that you would be turning on and off often, these may not be for you, otherwise, they are great. 4Awesome lamps! Just as expected I now have 4 of these little lamps and love them! They sit on my nightstands in my primary home and my second home. As other reviewers mentioned, they are small but they cast a nice light and are great for the bedroom since they have 3 levels of brightness. They stand about 9 inches tall. Although they are small they are sturdy and will not knock over easily compared to similar size lights from ikea.Packaging was great, assembly was very simple, and as long as you purchase bulbs ahead of time you can use these lamps within minutes of opening. I highly recommend these to anyone. I posted a video to show the touch function as well as the brightness at each level. FYI - I use 40w bulbs so keep in mind you can definitely have lower light if desired. Here is the link for the bulbs I am using: Ge Decorative Globe Bulb 40 W 320 Lumens G16-1/2 Candelabra 3 In. Clear Card / 2If you have use for this size lamp...look no further! These are great. 5Small-sized lamps work great, Be aware of small size before ordering/Flimsy bottom These two lamps arrived in a box about the size of a toaster, if that gives you an idea of how small these are. That said, that was what I was looking for to use on my bedside table. These are the perfect size for a bedside table and the touch settings worked great as soon as I plugged it in. Nice long black cord, as well.Base of the lamp is a nice shiny silver, and the lamp shade is a ivory color and in good condition. All of this said, I was unimpressed by the *lack of a bottom of the lamp.* to clarify, the base of the lamp underneath is a flimsy piece of cardboard that popped open on it's own when I took it out of the package, immediately exposing the wires that compose the lamp inside. Not impressed by this. I just put it back into place knowing I won't really move the lamp often and it won't show, but it's still a bad design.Know that you must use an incandescent light bulb with this lamp (Search "Westinghouse 4023 40-Watt, B 9-1/2 Decorative Ceiling Fan Bulb" in Amazon search bar). Recommend the two pack, as this purchase comes with a pair of lamps.The lowest touch setting on this lamp is extremely dim-hard to tell it's even on so I'd be wary not to leave it on by accident. The medium touch setting is more of a bright candle glow, and the highest setting is proficient to read by.Hope this is helpful! Overall, product is sufficient for what I was looking for although I would have appreciated a better bottom on the lamp.*Update: I've had these lamps for about 4 months now. They are still going strong, and get daily use! I have one on my bedside table and really love the touch feature-so much easier especially if I get up at night. They are SMALL lamps, so perfect for something like a night stand. My only remaining complaint is the flimsy bottom of the lamp (it's legit a teeny piece of cardboard covering wires) but you can't see it at all so it isn't a huge issue for me. 4Both shorted out and quit w/in a very short time I love touch lamps, and at first I loved these. I thought they were adorable and put out just enough light, but I only opened one at first for several weeks. I then got the second one out to use somewhere else, and when I plugged it in, it immediately shorted out, never to be revived. On the very same day, the first one I had opened shorted out, too. Of course, it was considered too late to return, so I was left w/ two useless lamps that didn't last more than 3 months (1 day for the second one). I just needed a basic touch lamp to use for a reading lamp, and these would have been perfect, but I guess this is one instance where you get what you pay for. Decent lamps can be so expensive! Obviously, I would not recommend this product nor purchase it again. :( 1PERFECT chic little night stand lamps for an amazing price! I bought these for our nightstands. We just moved into a bigger house with a large master bedroom but the overhead lighting in that bedroom is insufficient for its size and I needed something for reading. Also my husband gets up for work MUCH earlier than I do when it's still dark and he doesn't want to turn on the light and disturb me or fumble around in the dark, so this little lamp is the perfect solution! Here's what I love:- SIZE: These little guys are itty bitty, but for the limited real estate on a nightstand that's perfect! See my pictures for scale. On my night stand I have an alarm clock, an iPhone charging dock, a remote control and a baby monitor, so there wasn't much room left for a lamp, but these are great!- DESIGN: In spite of their small size they are very chic and modern looking! The brushed nickle finish of the base looks really nice and is a great contrast to the crisp white shades. I really like things that are minimal and aren't over designed. I love the look! It would go with almost any decor!- VERSATILE: While I think these lamps really shine as night stand lamps (pun not intended) they could be used in a lot of different spaces like a small work desk, on end tables, console or entry tables, on a fireplace mantel or by a rocking chair in a baby's room etc.- EASY: I am a huge fan of the touch base light controls. The last thing you want to do in the middle of the night if you have to turn on a light is fumble around for switches. It couldn't be easier to control with the touch of a finger, and the controls are very sensitive!- 3 BRIGHTNESS OPTIONS: I love that in addition to the touch base control, you have 3 brightness options to choose from and they are all very different! I love that it starts out with the lowest option because who wants to get blasted in the face with light in the middle of the night if all you need is a little. I find the settings to be perfect for different needs like getting up for a baby, reading at night, a trip to the bathroom, watching TV, getting ready for work in the dark etc.- PRICE POINT: You'd be hard pressed to find another pair of lamps that work this well and look this nice for this price. Trust me, I looked. Obviously they're not made of silver and silk but for our purposes they're wonderful!You should know that they each require 1 B type bulb (the candelabra kind) which most people don't just have on hand and they don't come with bulbs so be prepared. At first I was a little disappointed to see that those are the bulbs they require because I was worried they wouldn't put out enough light but I was very wrong! If you're looking for a small but nice looking and effective matching pair of night stand lamps that won't break the bank, I can't recommend these enough!I did NOT receive this product for free or at a discount. Hope this helps! 5Very happy with mine Very happy with mine. It's been a few months and they still work. Had issues at first but they were replaced quickly. Just make sure you use the correct bulbs for them to work properly, no more than 30 watts. They are small obviously and you won't be disappointed if you pay attention to the description. 5Great lamps, though small with a small touch base Very cute little lamp set. When I bought it, I thought the shade was wobbly and I thought it did not connect. I asked a question about it and was told my lamps were supposed to come with this locking piece, but I couldn't find it. But the company sent me out 2 pieces right away at no charge. But as I was installing the piece on the lamp, I'm embarrassed to say I found the pieces I need. they were mounted on the lamp, I just didnt notice it and realize they needed to be removed and then replaced. Great lamps, though small with a small touch base, but they look great. Kind of have a hotel look to them. Great customer service from the company. See pics.Update: September 2018, almost 3 years later. Lamps still work great. Never had 1 issue! 5Great value for money I don't know why some people are complaining about the small size. I think it's great that they are not that big. The design is simple, but not too cheap. The setup was super easy. The touch control just works. Just the dimming levels could be a little more defined. I used 6W IKEA bulbs and I can tell you with two of these on our nightstands we do not need any other lighting in our bedroom.Bottom line: Great value for money. 5I purchased the recommended bulb but the shade sits so low on the ... I purchased the recommended bulb but the shade sits so low on the base that the base is hidden. The package came without any way of attaching the shade except for laying it directly on the bulb, please see pictures. I tried several times to contact the company but no success. I am setting a bedroom up for a guest due in days. To say the least I am disappointed and not sure what to do now. UPDATE....The error is mine...everything works fine...I need to think more out of the box. Customer support was terrific and I am happy. 4These little guys are awesome! They may be small, but fill the room with light. Perfect small nightstand lamps I was looking for. I love that you don't have to fumble around trying to find the switch;just tap the bottom and you have your choice of lighting (mood, don't wanna trip going to the bathroom, and reading.). I'd recommend for anyone on a budget. 5
