WOW! What a significant Improvement. To be honest, my old shower head was really a piece of crap, so anything would be an improvement. This one is totally outstanding. When you turn it on it looks like a thousand diamonds sparkling through the air. We have course followed the directions and took out the optional flow restrictor. When I have a shower I don't want a mousey flow of water. I go in there for a damn good reason, to get wet all over and get it done quick.Installation is a snap and everything is provided with the exception of a screw to take out the flow restrictor but everyone has something like that around the house anyway. The directions are excellent easy to follow.. 5CHEAP AND GOOD -- REMOVE FLOW CONTROL DEVICE AND ENJOY! Purchased this item with low expectations. The shower head outlet housing is plasic with a decent blemish free chrome finish the swivel neck fotting is cast metal with stainless coating. O-rings and seals provided are cheap and thin. I swapped them out matching for size with bulk automotive gasket-o-ring kit. Ihave tried modding other cheaper shower heads to change to high flow but always ended up breaking some part of the head during the procedure. This low flow reducer was a snap to remove with sharp stabbing tool to puncture the screen and a hooked end small flat screwdriver to remove it. . Item installed in minutes. I also ordered this adjustable shower head Amazon item Link: http://a.co/eZMFTp7 that is constructed of solid metal and is a nice addition for people like me who are over 6' tall. Combo has been working great in mud room shower everyday for several months. Be warned this thing flows. See video attached to review. I filled this 5 gallon bucket in with just the hot water on full. I have a 80 gallon hot water tank and can take a very hot Tropical Rain Forest Shower for 10 min before it begins to cool. my water pressure is 68 P.S.I at residential meter head ,no reducer into house. 5Remove the plastic filter for a stronger flow! Amazing! I purchased two of these shower heads to replace some older ones that came with the house that we purchased. When I installed them, I wasn t too impressed with how weak the water flow was... especially with this being a very narrow stream of water. I contacted the seller to ask if this was a problem with weak water pressure from my water supply or if the shower head just used a lot of water to make it seem very weak. However, I was told that they shower head comes with a plastic filter to limit the water flow. After removing these from both the shower heads, the water flow was fantastic!Pros:Looks great.Great water flow.A much different feeling; does feel a bit like a strong rain!Has two different water pressure settings - if you remove the plastic filter.Was easy to install.Cons:Uses a lot of water when the filter is removed. (Can make you run out of hot water fast!)Has a very narrow stream of water compared to previous shower heads I have experienced (doesn t bother me too much!)I would recommend this brand and this shower head! 5Terrific Showerhead! This is a great showerhead! Super powerful if you take the regulator out (instructions tell you how and super easy). My wife and I were shocked at the overall pressure and we both love it. It does have a cheaper plastic feel to it, but that is fine with us and to be expected with the price. We ordered two more for the other showers in our house. 5Great water pressure and good buy! We are remodeling our bathroom removed our tub and put in a large shower. We have installed a rain shower in the center of the shower and separate shower heads at opposite ends of the shower. I have been looking for a shower head that puts out good pressure for washing my hair. My husband ordered an expensive shower head for his end of the shower, and I ordered this one for my end. We removed the water restrictor and it provides great water pressure and is just what I was looking for. Bottomline...don't buy the expensive ones because this one works better! 5Sink faucet or shower head? I would give this shower head zero stars if I could. We ordered two of these at once for our dual headed shower. At first they seemed great, but after about 3 months one of them broke at the seam and half the water blew out the side and ran like a drizzle. Low and behold, a few days ago (a little over 6 months of use now), the second literally blew open as my husband went to get in the shower. They are obviously very well built internally, as they can t handle the pressure of water actually flowing through them. I m 9 months pregnant and the one joy I get out of my day is my long shower, and since both of these pieces of excrement have both become like sink faucets, I no longer even have that to look forward to. You really do get what you pay for I suppose. 1Awesome shower head for the money! Awesome shower head for the money! I had many constraints and this shower head was the only one that fit the entire list: polished brass, low profile, soft rainfall water spray, would work on an adjustable arm and not be too heavy, and at a good price point.I could even stand less pressure even with the restrictor installed, so no concern for pressure with this one, just take the restrictor out if you prefer a stronger water spray.I can't speak to durability as I have only had it a few days but it looks and works great! 5Very sad - but the seller made it right. Looks great and water flow was, too. Unfortunately, after less than 60 days, this product broke.Updated - I contacted the seller and they immediately responded with both a refund and replacement. Exceptional customer service; and I'll look for them in the future for purchases of this nature. Thank you! 5Like a gentle rain. Easy to install, be careful removing the flow restrictor. The way the water falls is very relaxing. You do not feel like you are standing in front of a firehose getting blasted. Water gently falls from the head, and simulates a moderate rainfall. Water does not ricochet off of your body onto the walls or ceiling. Very nice shower head. 5Be wary. The build quality can be problematic. I have had cheaper, standard showerheads last far longer than this one, so I am a bit surprised that this one would break so easily. I have another one installed in the other bathroom, but now I am worried that it will break in the same manner. In any case, when it works, it is nice to use, but the recent break has me now questioning the quality.UPDATE: Within 48 hours of posting my review, the seller contacted me and not only refunded my purchase but sent a replacement showerhead at no charge. I received it within 2 days and installed it with no problems. I am updating my review to 2-stars because of the quick response but will hold off on reevaluating the product until I have used it for the same timeframe (3-4 weeks) in which the original one broke. 2
