    Okay stand, but has issues as both stand and case What I like about it is that it isn't huge and I can still get my phone in a front pocket of my pants or jacket. The stand is nice to have if you can get it to stand up but...Right now I am on the edge of if I should try to send this back. The case fit fine at first but a few days later it seems to be loosening up, not fitting tight around the upper right corner. Also the stand can be on the tricky side and likes to fall over if you have the phone plugged in. I trust it more in the landscape mode.Finally, it is useless as a horizontal belt clip. The one I have lets the phone slide out and once it pretty much fell out after a few brisk steps. Using it vertically, with the phone loaded in from the top is working now, but if it loosens up any more, I won't be using it at all. 3Well-designed with a nice, textured feel! I just bought a Razr M and was tempted to buy this clip in a combo pack at the Verizon store. However, I already have several car and home chargers, so I bought just the belt clip. I must say I really enjoy this clip. At first, it took a bit of getting used to the necessary amount of force to push the phone into the belt clip - I was afraid of shearing the base plate off the clip. Then, I realized if I just place the front corners of the phone into the belt clip, I can slide it in place with just two fingers.The back of the case has a nice, textured pattern which makes it easy to keep a grip on an otherwise slippery phone. It's easy to hold my phone with gloves on. 4Perfect fit-same as Verizon store This is the same case as the Verizon store sells. It comes in two parts, a snap-on shell that gives the phone a rubbery but not sticky texture for easier gripping, and a outer holster with swivel belt clip. The shell fits the holster tightly enough to be secure, but is still easy to draw when needed. I even use it while running, clipped to my shorts and it does not flop around as long as the shorts are tied snugly. I don't use the slide out kickstand, but it snaps securely out of the way and causes no problems. One note: unlike most cell phones, the RAZR M is tapered at the bottom, from front to back. So the phone with shell on it snaps securely into the holster ONLY when the phone is put it rightside up. If you put it in upside down (as I often do, since that puts it in my hand the right way when I draw it) it is not quite as secure and could fall out if you jump or be dragged out if it hangs up on something as you sit down. Not a major problem, just something to be aware of. This is the second phone I have carried in this type of case and it is the most secure and easily used I have found.5-2-13 Update. I actually tried using the kickstand and, to my surprise, found it much more useful than expected. With the RAZR M "Night" Mode, the kickstand makes the phone a nice bedside table alarm clock. (Go to "Clock" and tap anywhere on the screen that is away from the Alarm notice. It dims the entire display.) Unfortunately, the kickstand is a bit flimsy and within a week, even being very careful, both of the little pegs that hold the kickstand in it's slot broke, so I can't use it anymore. Just when I started to like it. So I removed one star from my rating. 4BUYER BEWARE phone can fall out CAUTION BUYER! Even brand new, your phone (in the new skin/case) can slip right out the bottom of the new holster. BEWARE! And as it wears in, this "drop" problem only increases. This problem exists because this newer-designed holster revision has almost eliminated the holster's two bottom retention tabs. The earlier design that used to be available had larger well-designed lower corner retention tabs. I have purchased several of this basic design over recent years, because they eventually wear so bad the phone would slip out, or the holster would crack. Note: This phone skin/case and holster does fit the Moto Droid Razr XT907. Certainly the Moto Droid Razr XT907 is an older phone and it is difficult to find good holster-style cases. So in the next few months I'll likely upgrade and just buy a new phone (with several high grade holsters). Although not presently available at time of writing, I have this holster and it's much better and more secure: Black Rugged Armor Hybrid Case Belt Clip Holster for Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE XT907 (Verizon) [In CellCostumes Retail Packaging] 1Great fit for Razr M This is a 2-piece holster, a shell that leaves the phone's face exposed and has a folding stand on the back, and the holster itself. The combination is designed so that the phone can be placed in the shell, and the shell slipped into the holster with the screen facing inward. All parts fit together perfectly. The phone/shell combination is very secure in the holster but can be removed quickly with a bit of practice. Grabbing the phone by the bottom edge and sliding it up works best for me. The holster's clip goes on my belt easily but is designed to hook under the bottom of the belt slightly so that it won't slip off accidentally. It would be less secure clipped onto the top edge of pants or skirt without a belt. Both holster and shell have textured rubber-like covers .The combination provides double protection for the phone since the shell fits around all four edges, and the holster encloses the phone & shell with secondary edge protection. I had previously bought a Cimo S Line case, and the phone with that case also will fit snugly into the holster, though it's harder to remove.The folding stand on the back of the shell can be used to prop the phone up either vertically or horizontally, I guess for reading, videos or as an alarm clock. It works, but the stand seems to be on the flimsy side and a small accident might break it off. But I bought this strictly for use as a holster and it works perfectly. Fully up to expectations. 5Husband is as happy a child at Christmas. These are my husband's remarks. First this is the very same he purchased from Verizon for +$20 more. He had had it for a year & 1/2 and he is very rough on clips. He showed his new clip being used to me last night and said this feels so good in the hand maybe because the other was worn out. I said most likely, remember all the dirt/ sand I showed you in your old case, try to wipe dirt out sometimes. The clip is the very same, quality, features, and efficient for his belt use. I Have a very HAPPY HUBBY 5Good protection but a couple flaws As a protective shell, this gets high marks. I am hard on phones and this has stood up to my worst abuse. Dropped it, bumped it, scraped it and the phone is still in great shape. The beltclip is plenty strong but my favorite feature by far is the stand built into the back of the shell. I love that stand. Not only is it easier for reading but the phone has a lot better resonance when on speaker.So why am I only giving it three stars? There are a few design flaws. First, the holster side of the shell covers up the power port. Not enough to keep water and dust out but enough that you can't recharge it in without removing the phone from the holster. Second, the belt clip sticks up about a half inch past the pivot point. While that makes it easier to put the holster on and off, it also creates a snag point for sweaters and seatbelts. Third and probably most frustratingly, that really cool stand built into the back uses a metal peg at the middle hinge but soft plastic pegs at the top and bottom. One of the pegs tore loose today. Just twisted free of the plastic, leaving the stand to flap loose at the bottom. Okay, I got 7 months' hard use out of it but it's aggravating to have to buy a new case over such a minor defect. 3Decent This is the perfect case at first. I've had a total of 3. They are made out of very cheap material that breaks frequently. I have justified replacing it twice since it's so cheap, but I'm not buying any more. Also, I dropped my phone at least 5 times and didn't have any problems, but my son dropped it once from his high chair and the screen cracked. I finally bought an otterbox after that. The kickstand is very cool though. Not too many cases have them, but kickstand breaks VERY easily. All in all, I wish I never bought this case. 3They hold the phone well, but they break easily These are sold at a great price, and hold the phone well, but I can't seem to get more than a year out of them before they break at the swivel joint. The plastic at the swivel joint can only take so much "use and abuse" before it pops out. Unfortunately, with a phone clipped to your side, it is always going to get caught on a passing cabinet, or seat belt in the car, or a door jamb. I wish the swivel joint itself was metal, but anyway, these phone case clips are inexpensive enough, that I keep an extra one in my desk drawer, knowing the one I have will likely break in a year's time. I do love the way the phone easily slides in and out of the holster...makes answering the phone fast. And the slide out bracket on the back, lets you prop the phone up to watch videos, or use the phone as your alarm clock at night. 4Good product for price, but doesn't stand out from other options The price is great for this. The case is surprisingly heavy so I doubt I will use the holster with it because I was going to use it at the gym. I like the texture of the case a lot. The bottom side to this is that the upper part of the case by the ear piece is surprisingly sharp against the ear and they should have just done a full case around the top part of the phone. This works pretty good as a case alone and for propping the phone up to watch videos. I would really only recommend this product if you watch a lot of videos, otherwise there are plenty of other cheap options for Razr M covers. 3
