Does not fit the Dell Venue 8 (not pro) model!! This case is too big for the Dell Venue 8. The tablet will slip out of the case as the clips do not secure it at all. They don't even make contact. Also, I attempted to contact the seller but got no reply, so I had to contact Amazon for a refund. Amazon has always been very helpful in these situations, but the process will take up to 2 weeks, and it is all a bit of a hassle.I gave this product 2 stars, because the shipping time was as promised and this case MIGHT fit other 8" tablets, but I cannot confirm that. I can only offer the details of my experience. There aren't many options out there for this type of case for the Venue 8; the only other option is 5 times the cost of this one. The seller should have provided the measurement of the tabs which hold the tablet in, for comparison to the width of your tablet, as that was my issue. Poor information. 2Does work with Pandigital SuperNova The item is very well made and has a high quality feedback keyboard. Thought it did not work with my Pandigital SuperNova 8" Tablet. The keyboard worked fine plugged into a desktop and laptop computer but regardless of the adapter I used, no response with the SuperNova. Then a friend came over and brought his female USB to male mini USB adapter and played around and after using the arrow keys, the keyboard started working! We retested several times and success, it still works. I would recommend that the vendor include the adapter which only costs a fraction of a dollar. Would result in more sales. Thanks 5Works good, small keyboard so I have typos This is a bulky but nice case for my 8-inch Nextbook 4:3 ratio tablet. The keyboard works just fine. By the by it CAME WITH the USB adapter, so don't order one until you get the case!However, the keyboard is much smaller than even my old HP netbook (10") keyboard. This causes problems for me in typing. It means I have many typos and need to go back and correct things a lot. I've got normal to large fingers, it is difficult to type. I'd rather just use the on-screen keyboard, but the USB keyboard was a nice thought.Don't know what's up with the return policy it says I can return through the end of this month but the drop-down to initiate a return is disabled 2Not Recommended This item came nicely packaged, looks well and is aesthetically pleasing but that is where it ends. It is not properly constructed so the metal clips that are supposed to hold your device in place shifts and your device can fall out and be broken. Had to catch mine a few times. The clips broke in less than two weeks and the material behind the keyboard separated leaving an open seam. The case was not very effective but was at least workable; when the clip broke it became utterly useless and had to be returned. Sadly, there was no other means of transporting the device safely so I immediately ended up with a chip on the side panel. I have ordered the carrying bag and another case from a different seller. I hope my review and satisfaction of that item will be much better. 3Fantastic case, but... Most tablets will require a Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter for this to work, and closing the case with the adapter in place is strikingly awkward. That having been said, the keyboard works beautifully with my Android Nextbook and holds it up at a nice angle in a fairly reliable manner. Trouble is, you should never carry it without putting the case in... well, another case! the tablet can easily slide out sideways. This is meant more for a "protector of tablet within your backpack" rather than an independent carrying case.Also, the stylus that comes with it is not a tablet stylus, it is a video game stylus of the kind used for the Nintendo DS or the Wii U mini screen thing. It is completely useless on a tablet. If you get this, don't count on the included stylus to be any use, but it's not as though getting another stylus would be an expensive endeavor. :) 4Cazy4tablets I purchased this keyboard for my Nextbook Permium 8 inch tablet. It works! However, it didn't come with the adapter that I needeed. The good thing is that I was able to purchase it via amazon for less than a dollar. I purchased a male to mini USB cable so that could connect my key board. Also I went into my settings and selected/ checked the USB host mode of operation...that's it! My keyboard worked right way; I am so pleased. The keyboard layout is a little different, but it is easy to get use to. As a matter of fact, I typed this review on my keyboard. Of course small fingers are a plus, but I think that it is large enough to work for most adults. As for the quality to this product....well, it seems to be nice and sturdy. I only wish that the cable that connects the keyboard to the tablet was detachable and that the case included a pocket to store it in. With this minor improvement, I would give this this tablet a 5 star rating. Okay, I almost forgot , the keyboard does have a slightly different layout. But hey guys I only paid $10.45 for it; so this was a purchase that exceeds its physical value. I saw another tablet on Amazon that looks identical to this one for about half the price; so look around before you buy this one. Also I saw another keyboard/case for twice the price with adapters so just weigh your options carefully Additionally, remember that this tablet is inteneded to be a match for the AVERAGE 8 inch tablet so that means that this kyboard/case combo may not fit your tablet perfectly. That's about all I can think of...Good luck! 4Nice case for 8 inch Tablet I got this for an older refurbished Pandigital Supernova tablet that my daughter gave to me when she got her new Samsung Galaxy tablet. I've used the Sanoxy case with the Super nova tablet for 5 months now since ordering it from Amazon. I must say that the quality of the carrying case that I received was more than expected. It is lightly padded and covered in what they call PU leather. It looks and feels like a soft vinyl to me. I have not experienced some of the problems other reviewers have; such as the case falling apart, keyboard not working, or their tablet is to small or to big and doesn't fit. Before I made the purchase through Amazon I measured my Pandigital tablet. It measures 8.25 x 6 inches, and is approximately 3/8th of an inch thick. The case holds this tablet securely in place with 3 "L" shaped latches. The top latch adjusts up and down by an internal elastic strip. These latches also give the tablet screen clearance off the keyboard so as not to harm the screen when the case is closed. The keyboard is flat and flush to the bottom half of the case. The case closes by a magnetic latch on the front of the cover. The magnetic latch is adequate at best, but does hold the case closed. All of my keyboard keys work. It's so nice to use a keyboard and not smudge up the tablets screen. My case came with both the USB A Female to Mini USB B 5 and micro 5 pin male adapter cables, and some kind of scrolling pen that doesn't work on my tablet. I needed the Mini 5 pin for the Supernova. I wish I had bought the right angle version of this cable because the straight USB cable hangs off the tablet and can cause problems with the long flimsy cable that connect to the keyboard. Every so often I have to unplug then plug the USB cable back into the tablet to get the keyboard to work. Other than that I like the carrying case. It does what I wanted it to do and it didn't cost that much. Hope this helped. 4Good Leather Carrying Case Nice case for 8 inch android tablets. There are two flat "ledges/hooks" on the bottom edge where the bottom of the tablet sits and they are each lined with material so that the tablet's edge isn't damaged when you slide it in. The top ledge/hook is the same, except that it's on some type of a spring so you have to pull it up then slide your tablet into it and when that hook slided back down it create a nice snug hold.The case itself is fairly light and feels sturdy. The leather is nice as well. The key board take a little getting used to because of being a tad small but other wise it also works well.The only thing to be aware of is that the connection from the keyboard is a normal usb connection so you'll proably need some type of usb to micro usb adapter to hook you tablet up. Other than that I really like this case-keyboard combination. I use it with a Polaroid PTAB800. 5Bad experience I purchased the keyboard for my NextBook 8SE only to find out that I can not use the keyboard. The case it self is poorly designed. It collapses with the picture frame type support. It should have had bands or ribbon on the sides to keep the tablet upright when open. The stylus was also useless and would not work with my Nextbook. For me I wasted my money. Further more the delivery system for Amazon delivery is not good. The items are shipped via FedEx part way and then sits in a FedEx station for 4-5 days before heading to a post office to be trans-shipped via parcel post all the while there is a FedEx deliver office only 8 miles from my home. The FexEx office where my package sat for the 4-5 days was less than an hours drive from my home. The cost of shipping and handling for ths small package was close to $9. Which Amazon did refund for the inconvenience I was subjected to. 1worth it to me The construction is decent. I've had mine about a year with no problems. Fits my Pandigital Supernova 8" tab well. It does cover the speaker up but most of the time it is still audible because the sound reflects out the side somewhat. If I really need to hear something well I scoot the tab over a little so the speaker sticks out, then slide it back in when I am done.The USB adapter is kind of annoying because it sticks out on the side. It has a standard sided USB then provides you with two short jumpers for the two smaller usb types. This cabling sometimes snags on something and pulls the usb out of the tab. It's not elegant but it works. I bought a different adapter with a right-angle micro-usb to make it stick out a little less - but just a little.The stand is useful in most common viewing angles. It doesn't adjust a lot on a smooth surface without falling but I use it a lot. At other angles I just have to prop it up against something.Overal an amazing price for what you get. I bought another one for my 8-year old. 4
