Great USB cables with Velcro ties included Great wires, thick cables and each cable had a Velcro tie on them. The retail packaging was quite nice and the cables appear to be of excellent quality. I wanted to use the 1ft USB cables to clean up a charging station and these fit the bill with all cables functional. The cables are thick but still flexible for my needs and hold their form sufficiently when straightened or curved. I would purchase this brand again if I needed more cables. 5Okay product but not sure how many charges it reliable gives you I have used this product for almost 2 weeks. I use it to charge up my Samsung Galaxy and my husband's Iphone. My impression is that we got more charges from it the first 1-2 times. We try to charge it up full and then use it until there is no more power. Then charge again. Now, it seems like I can get only one full charge or maybe 2 from it. For the big size of this device, I would expect 3-4 charges in order to warrant carry this big power bank around. Given that I am not getting as many charges from it, I probably won't be buying another. I can't complain because the price was okay. I may just stick to the smaller powerbanks that fit in your pocket/purse and can give you one full charge. 3Worked just fine. Nice touch was that each one had a ... Worked just fine. Used them as part of my Raspberry Pi assembly. 5Good build quality but lasted less than a year of light use All cables stopped working after 6-12 months of light occasional use. I only used these seldomly maybe 1-3 times a week on portable chargers when my battery runs low while on the go. The build of the cable rubber shielding seems sturdy but I suppose the micro usb connector tips and are not very durable. I have longer cables that I use daily and have lasted for years so I would expect the same longevity of these.Good build but low endurance. Decent purchase if you get an ideal price and don't mind the short life span. 3Not durable. Too stiff for their own good. While these seem to be pretty good at first, we have none that are still working after only about 4-months. The connections become intermittent as the connectors wear out. I think that they may be a victim of over engineering. The cables are very stiff, and as such don't "give" any when the item being charged is not laying in the line of the cable's natural lie. Our 10' cables from another maker work much better, and have proven durable, although that defeats the purpose of the short cables. 1Fast charge? Otter case? Deep USB port? No problem. These cables fit well. They have tight connection to my devices with no wiggle. I no longer have to try and find innovative ways to angle the cable to ensure a constant connection. What a relief to know the devices are connected without me having to wait and verify on-screen successful connection. The micro USB connection (the metal part) has a good length, and is not too short nor to bulky, so it connects to all devices. It is so nice not to have to make sure to pick the right USB cable for each device! Now, I can plug each device into any one of these cables and be good to go. It can be inconvenient when the usb connection breaks while transferring data. Now, no worries. Fast charge, Otter case, deep USB port, whatever the device specifics are, it's no problem with these cables. I am satisfied. 5WAY beefier than necessary! These things are AWESOME if you really want the thickest, strongest 1-ft cable you can find. Which is exactly what I wanted for this project. The 5v ground is an actual separate cable, in other words it doesn't rely on the woven shield (which is grounded) as some brands do. The power leads are indeed 22AWG, but I'd guess the data conductors are 28 or so. But seriously, that's quite fine. For travel, you might like something a little thinner that will pack a little smaller and lighter, depending on your luggage/accessory cases, etc.I doubt the micro-USB connector will last any longer than any other micro-USB connector, as the Micro-USB design specification is just awful (thus the new reversible USB-C connector that is MUCH stronger) and nothing can be done to improve it and stay in spec. But other than that, I LOVE these beefy little cables. 5Not "premium" at all You'd expect these "premium" cables to last longer than the non-premium cables you can buy elsewhere for half the price, but you'd be mistaken. Less than 2 months of light use, and they're already starting to break. No visible signs of damage, they just don't work anymore. If I'm gonna have to replace these cables every couple of months anyway, I might as well buy something cheap. 1Great for your charge station A nice set of short cables for my charging station. I'm sure we've all had trouble with cheap flimsy fragile cables before, but these seem to be heavy duty and well made ... we'll see.Addendum: I bought a dozen of these cables six months ago. Eight of them are on my charging station, and the other four are scattered around and used heavily. I've never had a single failure ... these seem to be pretty good cables. 4Would not work with Anker PowerPort I ordered these for use with my Anker PowerPort. (Anker 60W/12A 6-Port USB Charger PowerPort 6 for iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPad Air 2/mini 3, Samsung Galaxy s6/s6 edge, Note 5 and More) I have a several phones, tablets, etc. that needed charging so I set up a charging area with the PowerPort. Strangely, these patch cables would not charge any of my devices using the PowerPort. They work fine if you plug them directly into a wall AC charger, (the ones that come with the device) but not the PowerPort. Don't know what the problem is here, but either the Anker PowerPort or the Sabrent patch cables have a compatibility problem. Since all my other cables work fine with the PowerPort, have to assume it's a Sabrent issue. Learned a lesson here. Order devices and cables from the same manufacturer.Update: I was contacted by Sabrent who offered me replacement jumpers indicating that the original ones shipped were defective. The new jumpers, all though they appear to be identical to the original ones, work just fine with the Anker PowerPort Hub. I am updating my review to a four based on the excellent response to my problem by Sabrent. 4
