Customer Reviews

Cable with Length to Spare I can't say I'm an audiophile, but as a regular guy that wants to attach his electronics to a speaker system, there's times where you just need a little more cable to reach your receiver. That being said, lots of cable can be pretty expensive, and RiteAV RCA Stereo Audio Cable fits the bill for a moderate price.Pros:+ More than enough cable to handle most jobs+ It's not that expensive+ For the last year, I completely forgot I bought it, and it's just working quite fine.+ Sounds good; no interferenceCons- I suppose it seems expensive for the thinness of the insulation, but it's plenty durable for most use.Overall, I think the highest complement a cable can receive is that you don't notice it after you install it. From that perspective, RiteAV RCA Stereo Audio Cable is nearly perfect, if not for the slightly high price. 4Analog Stereo Still The Cleanest These cables are very low loss and highly sheilded.I am useing them with a Dynaco 70 amplifyer and a pas-2x Dynaco preamp switching and Equaliser.these are high end 1965 tube audio stereo system with a Duel 1019 Turntable, driving a set of 3m Wolverine speaker enclosures.the system is what some say quite clean. At the highest volume setting with the turntable turned off there is only a slight DC hiss from the speakers. These audio cables are of very high quality. I have had the stereo for over 40 years and the old cables that were purchased back then finally cracked and fell appart.Yes the dyna still runs well. 5These are absolutely good enough Why spend boatloads of money on silly monstrous cables when all one needs is this? The sound clarity is excellent, the plugs are solid and work just fine, no shorts, no problems. There is something about these cables that seem maybe not quite as solid as they could be - but I don't need cables to be pulled out and moved and plugged in all the time. Maybe once every few years I'll actually even look at these things, so I don't think they'll ever go bad on me from that. If you're thinking of buying these because you're a DJ or someone else whose unhooking and setting up equipment on a daily basis, I think you'll want a more solidly built cable than this, but for home use these are your cables.Save your money for something that really matters - like the DVDs and CDs you like. Don't waste it on cables that cost 10 times these and that deliver maybe at most a 0.1% increase in fidelity; an increase in fidelity that's going to be swamped by the sound of your air conditioning or furnace or bacon sizzling on the griddle, anyway. 5Good For it's price. This cable is good if you're looking for something really cheap and arn't too concerned about sound quallity.I recently started home audio recording and needed some RCA cables to go from my mixer to a USB adapter. I bought these because of their low price and my inexperience with different quallities of cable (How bad could it be, right?). Soon after I installed a couple of these I started noticing a strange buzz/hum noise comming from my speakers. At first I thought it was my USB adapter because it was also new and my confidence in it wasn't high to begin with. Thinking it was the adapter creating the noise, I almost purchased a device to filter out AC electrical noise. Luckly, I instead decided to look at better quality, sheilded, cabling. I ended up purchasing a couple Belkin PureAV RCA Audio Cables and imediatly after swaping these in the sound was gone.SUMMARY: The price is really good, but this is unsheilded and you will NOT get the best sound quality. For better sound quallity and no outside noises buy sheilded cabling. 3Good overall, but you do get what you pay for Purchased this primarily because of it's length. Needed to run a video projector that takes a RCA-style input from the front to the back of a room, while leaving the other AV equipment up front. It does fine. No noise is seen in the projected picture. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and overall I am happy with the purchase. One word of warning, however. The wire itself is not the sturdiest thing out there. Since I only needed one jack, not two, for the video, I thought I'd try to pull the cable apart so that I'd have 2 separate 25' connectors -- I've done this before with shorter cables without any problem. In this cable however the insulation is fairly cheap and while initially it appeared to separate reasonably well about half-way through the process it started to tear into the insulation on one wire, exposing bare wire beneath -- NOT good.I know, I know, it's on me for trying to use a product in a way other than intended, so really it's my fault. Hopefully I can save one person from making the same mistake. If you use it for its intended purpose, a long 25 foot RCA connector, it works fine. Excellent overall value for the money. 4Good Quality Analogue Stereo Cables I hate those reviews that say "It's a _____, so what else can I say about it?" Unfortunately, this is one of those reviews. I needed some RCA cables to plug into an old stereo from my parents' HDTV which was all digital. From the TV, I used FiiO D3 Digital to Analog Audio Converter With Micca 6ft Optical Toslink Cable - 192kHz/24bit Optical and Coaxial DAC, and then a set of these RCA audio cables to the stereo. I set the stereo to 'auxiliary', and it all worked like a charm. It's not surround sound, but they didn't want that, plus the sound is much fuller since it runs through speakers that have tweeters, subs and a mid-range speaker (I guess that's what you call them). The problem was that the Panasonic LCD had speakers that faced the rear, and my parents couldn't hear anything (but I, in the next room, could hear the programs all too well). Quick and easy fix, nice products, everybody's happy! 5Defective Out of the Box - Seller sent replacement quickly Well, they are cheap, too cheap to fool with returning. I bought these to connect my turntable to my phono preamp. They introduce a loud hum when plugged in. No amount adjustment corrects this.Likely a manufacturing defect. Take a chance if you like but I would suggest buying something a bit better.EDIT: After learning of my issue with their defective product, seller contacted me and offered either a complete refund or a replacement. I opted for a replacement. It arrived today and works just fine. That is very good customer service. Thank you! 4Terrible. worst wires i have come across. Terrible unsheilded wire. Sounded so bad I thought there was internal problems in the amp or something. Swapped wires with known quality wires and it sounded great. Swapped back to double check, and yep, it is these wires causing the noise(blew my midrange drivers from feedback, kinda my fault cuz i should have turned it way down to start, it was at normal volume tho). This brand should either shut down or rethink how they make these. Cuz now i have to replace components and will cost me much more than it would have to just get good wires to begin with. 1Perfect for what I needed it for. I bought this cable to reach from my TV to above my couch where I have a projector mounted. I used this cable for video, not audio, and I separated the Left channel from the Right channel and only used the cable for the left to transmit composite video. The cable is working perfectly for me, not seeing any degradation in video quality so far as I can tell from the projection, and I don't seem to be picking up any RF interference that would affect the video, if such a thing can happen. Obviously I can't speak for any issues related to using this cable for audio, but I would recommend it for a use similar to mine. 4You get what you pay for Ok so I am an IT guy... I should know better than to do what I did... I shopped a 50' audio cable by price DOH!!!Keeping in mind I deal with networks etc.. I bought this cable and I should have thought it out a bit.. It powers a 400W sub-woofer and so any hum or buzz is out.. so you take a fifty foot "Unshielded" cable and run it the length of a room.. This was awful. As soon as I heard the noise I knew what it was (RF interference from every single AC powered device within 30 feet)I dumped this cable and used an RCA (brand) RCA shielded cable and I now have silence. I would not advise the use of this cable for any audio device that "might" even be remotely sensitive to RF interference..http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014EHYZA/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img (ends for RJ5/6)Not a thing wrong with the vendor 1
