    OK quality, worth the investment, BUT BEWARE...I've come to love these rev-a-shelves because they are so solid, sturdy, glide smoothly, pull ALL the way out, and use up only a few inches on the sides and in back. Check the sizes well before ordering, e.g. 22" deep is right for typical 24" lower kitchen cabinets. These items are a bit costly, but if I were to buy tracks, build a wooden shelf etc. I wouldn't get as good an item and would pay almost as much for parts. One caveat; my suggestion for installation is to remove the shelf from the bracket, then mount the bracket, then re-insert the shelf. Their suggestion of installing the bracket with the shelf in place, pulling the shelf out halfway, is not good. Note, in the runners are little black plastic levers that release the shelf if you press one up, the other down.BUT, PLEASE NOTEWhen I bought this item from Amazon, I did not get the same item I am used to buying from Lowes. This item came in a brown box, not printed (no problem there but it indicates probably a different factory source.) The mounting bracket was different -- the slots were wider and longer; because they were wider, the screw head didn't grab as much of the bracket as it should, and I'm worried the tiny bit of bracket under the screws will bend and the whole thing will come up(solution: buy wide-head screws or put in a washer, no big deal). The brackets themselves were not solid, but swung like a swing (once mounted, didn't seem to make much difference.) And finally, the shelf didn't pull out quite as easily as I am used to. That last one is an issue, took one star off.So the upshot: buy direct from Amazon and you may get an item manufactured in a different plant to slightly different specs, and a bit inferior to what I bought in Lowes. But you might not really mind much. 4Makes much better use of cabinet space!Our pantry is narrow and deep, and the original shelves weren't practical at all. These shelves made a huge difference--it makes such better use of the space, even though we lost about 2" of space along the sides. So much less stressful trying to get to items I want or figuring out what I even have in the pantry. I didn't want to install them on the existing shelves, as that just wastes space, makes it harder to see what's on all the shelves, and makes it darker. So, once I was sure how wide my wooden spacers needed to be for the sides, I cut the bottom metal strips off and mounted the rails independently to the sides of my cabinet. They work great. Even fully loaded with cans they don't sag, bend, or rub on their tracks. 5Best drawer fix EVER! Love these!!I wonder what took me so long to install these fabulous sliding drawers!! Although they re not the easiest of installs, I was able to do so without dismantling them. Just be patient & mark your drilling spots between the racks so you can get to them easier.Remember you will lose some of your vertical space due to the height of the rails. Measure carefully! 5For under the sinkVery sturdy and easy to install. We are using it as a trash can holder for under our sink. Really nice that it pulls all the way out. 5Great quality and easy to installI mainly chose this Rev-a-Shelf because it had the specific dimensions that I needed for my cabinet, but after looking at many, many different manufactured versions of pull-out wire baskets for cabinets, Rev-a-Shelf is the best quality by far. The chrome is heavy duty and the drawer slides out evenly and beautifully. Installation is super easy and only requires 4 screws. Everyone who sees my cabinets are impressed and assumes that I had my kitchen custom-designed. I love it! 5Avoid this SALE price!I say BEWARE with falling for a bargain. These ARE NOT authentic Rev-A-Shelf. I own several already thus I'm familiar with what they are supposed to be. They have a soft close option noted by the bit of blue plastic that can be seen in the slide on the drawers themselves. Recently I ordered 3 from this page because of the incredible price. They arrived and all missing that blue soft close. I returned to Amazon and they sent out 3 more identical to the first shipment. Now in the process of returning those. Other noted differences are that packaging and literature are cheap reprints which is a big departure from the color brochure the authentic Rev-A-Shelf products provide. Also the height dimensions between the original and the copycat Rev-A-Shelf are just under a half inch difference between the two versions. 1These are fabulous!I had two 12" wide (opening) lower cupboards shelf cabinets in my kitchen that were full, and because they were shelves it was impossible to see anything past the first 6-8 inches of the shelf. That has been irritating me for years that I had to get on my hands and knees and pull the front stuff out to get the things in the back! I am a 67 yr old "handy-woman", and I decided to install four of these pull out drawers, and they are perfect! I am really happy with these since they can support up to 100 lbs and they pull out the full length. I shopped at the "store for containers" that had a lighter weight version, and pulled out only 3/4s of the way for close to the same price. I was happy that Amazon offered two of the drawers as "used" (for a $13 saving on each), but they were identical to the other two I bought at full price--so that was another great thing too! I would have bought more used ones if they had been available! I would highly recommend this company and their product!Anyway, I love these drawers, and they are a much better price than the cabinet company (the one that is at State Fairs and Home Shows). that wanted to charge me $1,500 for this same cabinet! I'm so glad I installed them!! I wish I had done it YEARS ago! 5Right on TrackLoved the ease in use by being able to slide out the unit to see all the contents in one s cabinets.I installed them myself. On one of them I received the instructions in French. No biggie. I recommend Rev a Shelf incorporate in their instructions when installing the rolling unit to remove the wired basket by depressing the two black hinges on the side. When done correctly, one would only have to deal with the screw in unit without reaching over the wired basket. Hardest part is when one has to screw in the rear screws at the back when you re working in a closed and confined space. That is NOT Rev a Shelf s problem but rather when we have to install these units AFTER the fact. Perhaps the cabinet industry will incorporate these as a standard. You may lose a nominal amount along the sides and a bit in the back but it makes up for the nominal loss with much better ergonomic features. I wouldn t go back! It would be nice to have custom inserts or containers if one didn t want things to slip through the grating. 5Problem Solved, and Space Saving TooWhen you reach a certain age, stooping, kneeling and squatting down to to reach the back of a base cabinet becomes increasingly difficult. This totally solved that problem. It also uses the shelf space more efficiently. Because the shelf pulls out, it is easier to arrange items without having to worry about finding and reaching them. You can pack things in more tightly. I was able to store more items on the shelf than before.Some reviewers claimed these might be counterfeit. Mine was packed in a Rev-a-Shelf box with Rev-a-Shelf instructions. It had no rough edges and the basket glides smoothly. It feels sturdy and stable even loaded with pots and pans. It is high quality, and I find no reason to suspect it is counterfeit.It was a snap to install, but you need sufficient headspace to do it. I would like to put one on the shelf below it. With less than 10 inches of clearance, that will take some thought. It's that squatting and kneeling thing again.I chose this brand over the competition for two reasons: The roller mechanism, at only 1.5 inches, takes up less vertical space and the shelves pull out 100%. It seemed a no-brainer.Now that my trial was a success, I plan to add more of them. These should be standard equipment in every kitchen cabinet. 5Love these! A nightmare of my life has ended!We just got these baskets and I couldn't be more thrilled. It took my husband about an hour to install 4 of them. The shelves are free standing so he screwed a small piece of wood on the top of the back of the shelf the baskets are attached to in case the weight when the basket is fully extended caused the shelf to tip. The baskets pull out all the way so you can easily see what's in the back. All 4 slide smoothly. I put down shelf liner because the bottom is like wire shelving. That's not a complaint, just an observation.I compared these to the Lynk pull out baskets I saw at The Container Store. I chose these because the basket is higher and the Rev a Shelf fully extend. The Lynk shelving only extended maybe 3/4 and the basket is storter. I posted a few pictures of ours installed. 5
