    Better than expected, satisfied with purchase I purchased these to replace the old and blown woofers in my home stereo cabinets. I was concerned because these are 4 ohm and the original speakers were 8 ohm. The amp I have is rated 8-16 ohms. I have to keep from turning it up to high volumes or the amp gets really hot and the fuses in the cabinets blow out. I found that out the first day I started using them. I don't think this is the fault of the speakers, it is likely because of the ohm mismatch. I set a fan near the grill that vents the amp's heat sink and that helps keep it cooler. The speakers sound great though when listening to rock music or with movie/tv sound! Now I need to replace the mid and tweeters so they match the sound quality of the subs. I wouldn't hesitate to install them in an enclosure for a budget car audio system. They may not sound quite as good as the kicker subs I have in my car, but for the price they are well worth it. 5The speakers will jam Excellent by they sound good and they take a lot of thumping this is the best bang for your buck by far 5Impressive Lows! I purchased a pair of Pyle PLW10BL woofers to replace the stock woofers in my 7.2 surround system. The old speakers were rated at 300W each and the new Pyle speakers are rated at 600W each. Each speaker is powered independently by a pair of Triad power sub amps. I just installed these today and must say that I am rather impressed by the deep bass produced. When I installed the speakers, I used the existing theater mounting frames and simply swapped out the speakers. To my disappointment, the mounting frames are made of plastic and do not seem to handle the deep low frequencies produced by these speakers, so I am now on the hunt for some replacement mounting frames that are sturdier and will hold up to the abuse. Finally, the fit and finish is awesome. The blue cone looks good and the other frame components look sturdy. I would recommend these as a good replacement speaker. 5Great Speakers I bought two of these and I really like them so far, great look, great sound and seem to be pretty well made. 5For the price, can't be beaten. I did not expected for much, but it is an impressive woofer for the price, installed in an ported box that we found, bass was pretty loud, (I let it play at low to mid for about 3 hours, and then tested it) thank you ! 5Three Stars Used for a science demonstration at a school. Worked OK. 3Works just fine for me at that level but I can't imagine ... Have it in a ported sub-box with a 100 watt amp @4-ohms. Works just fine for me at that level but I can't imagine using the rms wattage suggested. If I were to play some real heavy bass songs at full volume I would probably blow it up. However, my intention is to add some kick to the bass at a moderate volume and the gain about half way and it works just fine. It is great for the price but if you want to crank some serious watts and volume spend more and get pro equipment. 4Five Stars Great price and sound good so far 5Sooooooo Worth The Money! Got this subwoofer yesterday have it hooked up to a 2 300 watt kicker amp im telling you this right now i expected it to be good from reviews but this blew me away has deep bass and very well built. Spent all day breaking it in at medium bass, i will give you this advice let it break in first to seperate the coil a bit before going ham. Would buy this subwoofer again in a heartbeat this subwoofer would totally beat kicker, jbl, and most other over priced subs this does the same with the best price for a awesome sub. 5 stars! I purchased these not really knowing what to think, but now that there all hooked up they sound really good, I also purchased a box from Amazon for these to go in and that to worked out great, box was crafted with excellence, considering I used to have a business of my own building boxes for customers.
