Very happy - good product I shopped around quite a bit for a new after-market charging cable, worried because so many people were complaining about ends breaking off, or being too loose, too long, etc. I took the chance on this product and I am very happy with it. The cable adapter fit perfectly, had no issues, and even withstood the wrath of a 10 year old yanking it out, tripping over it etc, and after all this time it's still rock solid for me. I will definitely be buying another one of these if it's ever needed.Another pro is that is really long, unlike the barbie-sized-cable that came with the device originally. This allows me to charge it and actually use it without sitting on the floor next to the outlet.When we use it on the road, it plugs into our car converter in the front of the car, and our 10 year old can use the tablet in the back seat very comfortably.I would recommend this product - I think it's a good replacement, especially for the cost. 5Was Sketchy at first since I have a old Tablet. But works Amazingly!!! I was at first sketchy about buying a charger for my tablet,Reasons1. The orignal charger is somewhere in the many boxes that I put up2. Its a very old tablet that the people who made it doesn't even sell it anymoreSo I question if this charger would work for my tablet. But it work beautifully and I'm very happy with my purchase. They certainly looked sturdy and well built. I bought 2 of these adapters, and I couldn't be happier.They are indeed sturdy and well built. I have been using them on my Acer tablets for over a month now and they have proven to be just as reliable as the OEM power adapter. They charge smoothly with no surges.In addition, they come with a much longer cord than the OEM cord. Now I'm not tied to my desk to use that old short cord. I can now sit in bed while my tablet is charging!I do have to say something about the Pwr+ people - It was necessary for me to contact them about something minor matter, nothing wrong with the product, and they were VERY accommodating and personable. So you know you are dealing with reliable people. 5Just like the Acer adapter Works just the same as the Acer adapter. I have one of them at home, and one at the office, and I'd have to unplug and examine the wall wart to know which is which. No wait, except for one difference I just remembered -- the barrel is longer on this one than the original, so it doesn't go in as fully as the Acer plug, and you see about 1/8" or so of silver barrel showing outside the socket. That only looks weird for the very first time, and after than it's no big deal. Just don't push hard on it, expecting it to go in any further. It's just longer than the socket is deep. (There's a customer image that shows this small gap.) From reading the reviews here, I knew that before purchasing, so totally expected. I presume that allows the adapter to be used on other devices with longer barrel sockets, streamlining manufacturing efforts and making cheaper costs to customers. Don't let it scare you out of purchasing this one -- it will definitely do the job just fine. 5This one is perfect. I love the extra long cord I ordered this as a replacement for the original charger that came with my Acer Iconia Tab that had finally bit the dust. This one is perfect. I love the extra long cord. I also appreciate the longer cord because I can read in bed while my tablet is charging without any worries that it will tangle or pull out out. I ended up returning this one and buying one made by Acer that said it had the rounded tip. Yes it did cost 3 times as much, but it works. And by the way, the one I sent back did charge my tablet okay, but it rendered the screen unresponsive to touch while it was plugged in. I'm guessing the rounded tip has something to do with that. 1Perfect Fit The connector on this AC adapter fits my Acer Iconia tablet A200 perfectly. Unlike other brands the connector does not slip out of the socket. I could not be any happier. 5So far so good Pros- Seems more solidly built than Stock OEM charger- Has a green LED showing the charger is getting power- Wire lead seems to be more durable than Stock.Cons- Wire can be longer, my extra powerline charger had a 10' lead. This is only about 6' close to stock OEM.Other ThoughtsI've had this charger for about 2 months now, hard to say how this will fare, but if this can last me more than a year, then it's definitely better than the piece of crap Stock OEM charger Acer included in their A500 Tablets. Suffice to say Acer does not make reliable A/C Chargers, Two stock OEM chargers for tablets dead just after 1 year just screams quality... right? 4
