Customer Reviews

Case broke causing my Voyager Pro's earpiece to break. The corner of the case broke while I was sitting. The case is kinda soft. I'm not sure but the front part of the case may be protected by cardboard or soft plastic. Well, a month after my case broke my Voyager Pro's earpiece broke while it was in the case.I clip it to my right side. I think my seat belt broke it or I might have broke it with my stomach while sitting or leaning to the right. But that's still not acceptable. My waist size is 34 so I hardly have a belly hanging over my pants. The Plantronics costumer service was very positive experience though. They sent me a new set within three days of making a report. I don't want another of these cases. I will look for something better. 2Simple, yet effective This carrying case has not been used as much as I was going to use it, but it works well enough. My only problem with it was that it rubs on the microphone cover of the headset and the earpiece, so this will cause wear and tear on the weak fabric of this headset. Still, well made and durable, so I give this 5 stars. 5Handy Way To Carry Your Plantronics Voyager This is my third carry case for a Voyager. I keep buying them as they wear out because they are so handy, but I have to keep buying them because they rarely last much over a year or so. The material seems cheap and light duty, the flap flops around, and the construction leaves a bit to be desired. But, if you need a handy way to belt carry your Voyager then it's about the only product there is. 3Pretty Good, not perfect This is mostly a man's product, unless we're talking about business women who wear slacks with a belt.I wear my phone on my belt as well as this handy little carry case for my Voyager, so things start to get a little crowded on the hip, especially on the right ride, since I'm right-handed.For what this product is designed for, it does indeed work. It also looks very elegant as far as "Batman utilities" go. However, I'm giving this product the benefit of granting 4-stars (I would rate 3.5 if I could). It's not a 3-star product. The reason for a 3.5 star, as a successful product, it should do its job as well as being seamless in your lifestyle no matter what the condition.Explanation and experience:As usual, I had my phone and my Voyager carry case at church, during my daughter's performance. This would mean I had a camera (dSLR with a 200mm lens) with me on a sling, hanging on the right side. If anyone is familiar with the church-scene, there is a lot of sitting and standing. With all the sitting and standing, the camera pulled the case, pushed it around, knocked it around, and finally knocked if off my belt - all without me knowing. When I got home, I removed my phone from my belt and next was the non-existent carry case. I checked to see if the Voyager would connect but it didn't, so it was not in the house. "Oh great. I lost another Voyager" was the first thing that went though my mind. Long story short, I was lucky my brother-in-law is a member of the church and someone had found the case+Voyager and it was returned to me. How many of you will have this much luck? This could happen to most of you and the case+Voyager will probably not find its way home. This may possibly happen to me again, so now I check to make sure it's on my belt before walking away from any seat.If this case had a full-loop to ensure it would not leave your belt, I would rate it a 4-star. 5-star would mean there is no possible way the product could be better and it would last a lifetime. 4Great purchase This is the perfect solution to protect my Bluetooth plantronic HD while not in use. Fits perfectly in case. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to prolong the integrity of their device. Product just as described ,shipped quickly and arrived on time.REVIEW UPDATE: The Case Has Held Up Wonderful, It is 8-26-18 The Stitching has Seperated in a few areas along Front of Case, a few Drops Of Super Glue And Issue Resolved. Would Definitely Recommend this Version Of the Case, The Magnetic Bond That holds Front Closed is Just as the Day I Received the Case, I Utilize it Every Day when My Voyager is not in Use. 5Decent solution This is a decent solution for what to do with this monster of a headset. With smaller BTHS's you can easily slip them into a shirt pocket, but the pro series is too big for that. Don't get me wrong - LOVE the quality of the headset, but it's BIG!This holster is well constructed and seems pretty sturdy, I've been giving it the standard abuse for over a month now - clipping it to my belt and then sitting on it in the car for hours at a time, etc... and it's held up well.Maybe my only issue is only MY issue, but since you have to fold the headset to use the holster, I frequently don't get it unfolded correctly in time to answer an incoming call. Mostly I turn the unit off and leave it in the holster except for outgoing calls.I admit that part of the problem is that my HTC Windows 7 "Smart" phone is not smart enough to tell whether I am using the phone to answer a call or my headset. It defaults to the headset if connected. Previous phones have gone to the headset if I answer using the headset, and the phone if I push the button on the phone - Ya hear that Mr. Gates?...But I digress. Nice construction, quality materials, a sturdy and tight belt clip, all awesome. Now if only I could master the spatial relationships needed to open the darn headset! 3Not the same case as two years ago! I ordered this case from Amazon two years ago and got one with a belt clip and magnetic closure. Well, I recently lost that case b/c I took it off my belt and put it aside and then lost it. The belt clip never failed or slipped off despite what others may have experienced. Anyways, so I wanted to replace that case. I found this item and Amazon told me that I had ordered this exact same item back in 2010 (they display that info at the top of the page whenever you reorder something you have already ordered). So I thought I'll just order it again since I had liked it so much. When my new case arrived I was very surprised to see that the belt clip is gone and the magnetic closure has been replaced by a velcro one. So warning to anyone expecting a belt clip, this new case does not have one! I see now that Amazon has updated the item description to omit the belt clip and mention the velco closure but they are wrong to tell me that this is the exact same item I had ordered previously, it certainly is not the same, and as a result I feel somewhat misled. FYI, I would give the old case 5 stars. This new case looks fairly strong, but is of little use without a belt clip. 1Handy way to keep Plantronics Bluetooth headset I really like this case for my Plantronics Bluetooth headset. The problem with the Voyager Pro is that it is easily damaged unless you have it in the case to protect it. For example the earpiece on my Voyager Pro broke a couple of times. This is because I am always putting it in and taking them out of my backpack, and throwing it around in my car.I ordered this little case the other day hoping that it would protect my Voyager Pro and make it easier to find. I tend to lose Bluetooth headsets. Anyway, this case fits the Voyager Pro perfectly. I could not be happier. It also has a belt clip on it so you can clip it to your belt, but I like it because I can put it in my backpack and I do not have to worry about breaking my Bluetooth again. It also helps me keep up with my Bluetooth because I just keep it with my keys or my backpack and with the clip on the back of it, I can clip it to my visor in the car. That way my Bluetooth is not falling between the seats with me breaking the earpiece again.I do not think you can go wrong with this case, especially considering how expensive the Plantronics Voyager Pro is. 5Faithfully served Voyager Legend constantly for 1.5 yrs I wore this on my belt almost constantly for 1yr 5mos and it faithfully carried my Plantronics Voyager Legend. Since it only clips onto my belt, rather than having a loop, I have had it fall off a couple of times. I noticed not long ago that it was starting to fall apart. The sides could be made better - the faux leather material is sewn to the cloth/cardboard that gives it its rigidity, but then the side piece which wraps around the sides and bottom of the case appears to be glued on. There is a sewn seam to keep the belt clip in place, which seems to have no flaw after 1.5yrs. So, it survived with my muffin top on one side and frequent carrying of my backpack over that shoulder on the other side. Ultimately, it completely protected my Voyager Legend, which is ultimately its sole function for me. The price tag is reasonable for 1.5yrs and unless I can find a better option, I'm willing to purchase this, again, to replace itself.Update 1.5yrs later: Buying this for the 3rd time. Pretty much the same story - started falling apart after 1.5yrs of constant use. The headset is fine, despite multiple occasions where I feared the case may not have been enough protection. The belt clip material is separating and rather than trying to sew it back together, I d rather throw a few dollars at a replacement for presumably 1.5yrs. I have to assume that the headset will eventually die of old age, but until then, the cost of new cases does compare to a new headset. Still my solution of choice. 4Love it!! Love it!!! Exactly what I was looking for..... All those that say it doesn't fit, may not be folding it correctly. I will not wear mine on my belt, so I won't be able to tell you how that function works. I was looking for something to carry it in while in my car or in my purse for protection. Many have said that it wears down quickly. I'll have to be on the lookout for that. 5
