Customer Reviews

After many attempts... This is what I was looking for! For years I've been intrigued with waterfall faucets. I first saw one at a hardware store, but after seeing the price of over $200, I wasn't sure I'd ever justify buying one. Then comes along the best store in the world, Amazon! I found dozens and dozens of waterfall faucets, with eye-catching designs, at extremely low prices! The only catch... many have connections that are not standard in the USA, and the dependability for some models is questionable. I have actually tried 3 different designs from the "no brand" name and had issues with each one.A very common problem is many of these have no type of regulator that allows maximum flow. Every generic faucet I've bought, has required me to adjust the water valves under the sink in order to control water flow from shooting out at high speed and making a mess. No big deal right? Well the problem with this... if you adjust it so that a 50/50 mixture of hot/cold comes out at the perfect rate, then when you only have one side on (hot or cold) it barely comes out. Or if one side or the other is perfect, then the mixture of warm water is too fast. Again... mess! Then this beauty comes along! At this point I was ready to jump on-board with a quality brand name, but without wallet-shock! This unit cost me about $40 more than a generic faucet I purchased... and it was worth every penny! But still way cheaper than hardware store prices. As a side note, I bought the brushed chrome model. I love the soft look and I've never cared for chrome because of the fingerprints and stains that you can never avoid. This was a breeze to install and came with really nice quick connects for the water lines (it does not come with lines/hoses). Just screw the 1/2" brass adapters (included) onto your water lines, drop the faucet into the sink, tighten faucet down, then snap the copper faucet lines into the line adapters, snap in the pin clip then turn on your new faucet!Immediately the first thing I noticed was how smooth the water flow came down and out the spout. Very consistent, it did not "break up" or splash and it was not harsh. Here is the best way to describe the water flow... the cheap models have water pressure, this model has water volume. It flows out plenty of water, but seems to use gravity rather than pressure (which is why it is not messy and does not splash everywhere).I also did not have to adjust my water valves. They are full-on and I let the faucet do it's job. And it does an amazing job at it! Whether it is full-cold, full-hot, or right down the middle (warm), the pressure is always the same! It is consistent no matter where you have the handle turned to. This is probably what impressed me the most! Now, the absolute biggest difference you would notice between this faucet and a generic faucet... the noise! Read reviews about most of those other faucets and you will see a trend of complaints that, even if all else is perfect, the noise level is annoyingly high. That was another reason for turning down the valves under the sink with other models, it helped keep the noise down. This faucet is very quiet! Which is great because you can hear the natural sound the water makes. Although the faucet isn't silent, I find it much quieter than regular sink faucets that have the aerator in them that causes that "TV static" sound.I hope you have found this helpful in your decision to purchase a waterfall-type faucet. They are truly a pleasure to use, will help children want to use the faucet more (washing hands, brushing teeth), and every guest will be intrigued by it... expect compliments! 5High quality and fun! I ordered 3 of these to remodel both of our bathrooms. One was defective out of the box, but Amazon quickly replaced it.That being said, I love these faucets! They look great and they are kind of fun to use. They feel sturdier / heavier than I expected (in a good way).Initially I was kind of on the fence about getting them since they are very different, but I'm glad I went with these. 5Open channel Tuscan Bronze faucet This Tuscan Bronze faucet works beautifully, functions well, and really stands out nicely with the other bronzed accessories and ammenities in this vanity bathroom. Sometimes a drop of water will remain in the channel when the water is turned off, but you can wipe it away with one finger. The water is warm when the handle is in the center as it should be. You have to be sure to follow the instructions for correctly connecting the water. It states that you have to flush the hot and cold water lines for 30 seconds after connecting to the water pipes and before connecting to the faucet. You can do this easily by placing a bucket underneath. The reason for flushing the lines is to get rid of any small sediment or debris that may get caught in the screen behind the faucet where the water comes out. Failing to follow this minor detail may be the reason that some reviews read that the water pressure and/or temperature was undesirable. The water coming out of this faucet will not be high pressure because of the open channel; its more like a gentle water fall to effectively wash your hands, but maybe not so good for rinsing out a razor. As I said in the beginning, it really looks nice, functions well, and compliments all the other bronzed items in the bathroom. 5I love it Some people say this faucet squirts too far. I have not seen any issues with that and I have my valves all the way open. I do have a pressure regulator on my incoming culinary water as is required by code to keep the pressure under 75 psi, maybe people with issues do not have a regulator? I love the way this faucet looks and the 3 hole cover plate that it comes with is nice and I used it in my installation. I really love the push to seal drain although it is kinda loud with its click to open or close it. Price-Fister does do the lifetime warranty now just as Moen does. This faucet feels sturdy and heavy like it is constructed of good quality materials. It has an aerator sort of up in right before the water comes out onto the spout. It also has steel mesh pieces to catch any debris down at the connection points to stop any particles from entering the faucet. It does come with instructions on keeping it clean etc. I have it installed on a normal vanity top that is all in one piece with the sink and countertop and I love it! I would not recommend this faucet for installation where several children are present as it may be hard to keep it clean and sanitary. Germs could drip off of hands while turning on or off the faucet which could contaminate all the water that comes out as it runs over the surface area. There is also a line where the top pouring spout of the faucet attaches to the neck... in the pictures they have posted it looks like a nice design line but it is really a seam which is not sealed off, but is a very deep crack where I can just imagine what children could do to it. Thankfully I have it installed in the master bath. Hopefully I have been able to help you in your decision to purchase or not to purchase this faucet. 5Pfister Jaida Single control faucet I had previously purchased a similar faucet at a local home improvement store and loved the pop up and down drain design. I decided to buy a couple of these matching faucets because of the look and the drain pop design. They are very nice looking but here are a few issues that I did NOT like. The lines off of the faucet come with adapter that clip and lock in to hook up to regular braided design hoses, you need two wrenches in a tight place to get the lines started on the threading then continue to hold onto the lines to final tightening because of the clip in adapter design they spin real easily. They are hard to get to much less having to stop them from spinning just to get the lines threaded to start. Secondly on the negative side they have no tool to tighten the long skinny nut to the clamp that holds the faucet in place, from the bottom side of the faucet. Good luck getting an adjustable wrench in there, I ended up using a 1/4 inch drive with a long extension and an 11mm deep socket. Other faucet companies (DELTA) give you a long plastic tool with small wings on them so you do not over tighten as this can also be bad. Overall 4 stars for looks and drain stopper design, otherwise install is not quite a breeze. Just a heads up for any do it yourselfers out there. Overall I would but them again now that I know what to use to make the install easier. 4My Guests LOVE it! After reading the reviews from some of the other cheaper "knock off" brands I opted to go with this faucet. One of the complaints of the others is that when you turned the water on, it would shoot out past the sink. Water pressure had to be adjusted under the sink at the supply lines. But the Pfister seems to be a quality product and I look forward to many years of happy use. I'm a 62 year old widow who installed it by myself. I feel a great sense of accomplishment! :-) 5Gorgeous waterfall faucet! I searched for a few years for a good looking, different style faucet that doesn't break the bank and makes a little statement in my builder grade bathroom. (Faucet is polished chrome, my preference rather than bright chrome which is too bold for my taste.) It compliments the existing hardware instead of mix & match. The price was fantastic, a bit over $100 each, I purchased 2. I didn't find anything like these in the big box stores and didn't want to pay high end prices of bath specialty stores. I had them professionally installed since plumbing can be tricky. Thrilled with my purchase and love the waterfall feature which is so spa-like. 5Great Faucet, Wish there were more water. Love the look and the functionality of this faucetAlmost gave it four stars however as it really doesn't seem to deliver much water... I wish I could increase the flow rate, however the pipes they used for connecting are really really small... I love the look and It's a fantastic faucet, i just would have preferred if Full Volume of water had more water. Also Be aware, Chrome picks up every bit of gunk and grime from fingers and even just water stains and it is obvious. I wish someone had warned me about picking chrome for a bath as everything will have fingerprints after one use. 5Beauty and Function in one So happy...graceful lines, water flow at more useful height without splash, pleasant to see and easy to swipe spout dry with a washcloth in case minerals are heavy in your water supply. Control works smoothly and no dripping of water around the back of sink that occurs with two separate handles. Very easy to install. I use the base plate to cover the holes in new lav. I had to install two new inline water shut offs, but that had nothing to do with faucet. Will try to buy this model again when I move. 5Great Faucet - easy install. Great looking and working faucets. EASY install. I ordered 6 and no parts were missing. The push drain pipe that comes with it is 1.25 thick so if your existing drain (under the sink) is 1.5" like mine was you will need to buy the proper rubber washer to fit the 2 pipes together, it cost about $1.25 at Home Depot. To avoid hardwater spots its a good idea to wipe off any water drops sitting in the spout.Update : 3 weeks latter the water screen inside one of the faucets came out while turning on the water. I called Pfister who sent me a new screen but getting the screen into the deep throat of the faucet is impossible. I asked to swap out the faucet with a new one and was told "You need to keep trying to install the screen" Gee thanks!! Anyway the other 5 are working fine. To bad Pfiser customer service really **ks. Downgraded to 4 star. 4
