    Beautiful! But check the distance between your hot and cold pipes. I am giving this unit 5 stars, based on the quality I see. The main reason for my review though is to provide a caution to others, one that I should have figured out. This unit has a variable span of 7" to 9". The center-to-center distance between the hot and cold pipes coming out of your wall have to fall within that range--if they do not fall within that range, you will be unable to use this faucet. I really love it, but I can't use it.Update: Just want to add that the pictures do not do justice to the stately and serene impression made by this faucet. Do not be fooled by the price: This is a heavy, quality piece of brass that you'll say, 'wow, better than the picture!' 5Looks great, works great, love it. Fantastic product, valves feel like velvet. The finish is perfect and this faucet works great. I did have a hassle mounting it, but that is not Peerless's fault. Well maybe, if they would have given me a couple big nuts with the same threads as the chrome flanges, I could have mounted this easier. Using a big nut on the 1/2" NPT nipple that screws into the faucet does not work on a thin stainless backsplash like I had (see pics). Instead, I flipped those chrome flanges around and used them to tighten the faucet to the backsplash. I had to drill four little hoses into the chrome flanges so I could tighten them with snap-ring pliers with right-angle bits.Mounting the doglegs flush to the backsplash pushes the water fittings further back, but it does look cleaner from the front. Sad thing is I had an old faucet that might have had the same threads on its cruddy flanges, so I may have been able to use those as nuts to tighten the unit to the sink. Its rock-solid now and I love the way this thing works. I thought I must have paid 177 bucks for it, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was closer to 60 bucks. The pivoting faucet feels a little loose and sloppy, but it does not leak. I note that it is held on with a threaded collar so maybe I can shim it with an O-ring to make it feel tighter. I can't get over how effortless the handles work on this. 5UPDATE: MORE PROBLEMS! Looks nice, seems to function well, BUT less than 6 mos after purchase, cold water handle seems stripped..I am so disappointed. UPDATE: at just little more than 7mos later an inner seal(plastic) cracked and the faucet began leaking..this is a machined part and is not replaceable..I now need a new faucet..this is a piece of JUNK..Do not waste your $ or time..looks aren't everything. 1Easy install I used this to replace a faucet that is "who knows how long its been there" old but has the same wall (pipe) attachments that comes with this model. I needed to replace a simple washer on the old one but would need a hammer to loosen the handle (even I, a guy, could recognize this was a disaster waiting to happen). The old one also leaked at the base of the spigot and tightening would only slow down the leak, temporarily. I couldn't find a direct replacement of my old model (thankfully ... we like this one much better). Previous installer had adjusted the wall mounts to the correct width. The pipes in the wall are about 1/8-inch off spec. Appreciate the extra clearance with the high-arc spigot. 5Fantastic Value and Looks Great I bought this to replace a faucet that kept blowing seat washers. It got expensive and a hassle to keep replacing the seat cartridges every year, so I looked into getting a faucet with a ceramic valve. This features has a quarter turn, which is great as well. Supposedly it has a lifetime warranty as well, so if there are any seat valve issues, it should be covered. Our water pressure is high, so with our old faucet it would go from 1 to 100 with slight opening of the faucet. This one gives you more control over the flow.Installation was a snap and really only required a slip joint wrench to tighten up the fittings.I changed out the faucet aerator to adapt it to work with our portable dishwasher. No issues or leaks.The only negative, which I admit is a minor nitput, is the gooseneck feels wobbly, but nothing leaks and it is super easy to direct it to either basin of the sink. 5Be warned, relax, very low stress installation. Style, function and ease of installation all superb. Only wish the enclosed product description and installation advice had been less abbreviated. I installed the faucet more easily than I believed possible. The replacement faucet was successfully installed in less than 15 minutes, requiring only a 12 inch and 10 inch crescent wrench. It came fully assembled in the box, with the two needed washers. Would buy another one, if needed, and would recommend faucet on basis of quality, design, appearance and price. Have only had it in use for a day, but it clearly works much better than one I put in years ago, from a different manufacturer, and at two thirds of the price. 5Excellent so far! Choosing a wall-mount faucet assembly is a frustrating task for me. Either I find the relatively inexpensive utilitarian model (unimaginative design more suited for a laundry room than a kitchen) or something more attractive that I wouldn't mind being visible but with a staggering price tag. My local hardware store carries a middle-of-the-road model that doesn't break the bank but doesn't hold up well and I have to replace it about once a year. I was pleased and surprised to find this Peerless model on Amazon and decided to take a chance on it. It took mere minutes to swap out the old for the new, installation was easier than I anticipated, and it functions perfectly. (Initially it leaked but totally my faux-pas. I neglected to put the thoughtfully provided washers inside the connecting nuts. Once again I'm reminded that it pays to give enclosed instructions at least a cursory glance.) So it dispenses water with nary a drip, the faucet handles and spout move without effort, and it's way prettier (and better quality) than its predecessor. How well it will hold up remains to be seen but I am greatly encouraged. 5Broke in less than four months of use Loved the height. Hated the fact it broke within four months of using. The Hot water first started slowly dripping. We found we couldn t move the handle completely into the off position because it would be a light steady stream of water. Then it wouldn t shut off at all. Had to turn off water and put the old yucky faucet back on until a new one was bought. As much as I like the look and feel I can t have s faucet that breaks in four months. Just glad my husband was home. It took two to get everything done. Forgot to add my husband took the thing apart and found a washer was sheared. In four months of use? Pretty shoddy workmanship. 3Nice faucet for farmhouse sink Good looking faucet, easy to install and adjust to the exact spacing of our wall mount holes in farmhouse sink. The handles are not quite as solid when used as I would like (we initially tried a beautiful Kingston Brass...it was too big but you could really feel the higher quality difference). Was unclear if this model was Delta brand or not...after no Delta logo on anything in the packaging looked it up and Peerless is it's own brand "backed by Delta". Overall looks awesome and are happy with the price. Not too many to choose from for wall mounts! 4High quality, inexpensive upgrade I have an older home that has the plumbing going through the wall instead of coming up from under the sink. My 2 options: hire a plumber to run the pipes to come out under the sink or look for a wall mounted kitchen faucet. Since I am on a budget and the existing pipes are still fine, I chose option B and couldn't be happier. It looks much better than pictured. It was very easy to install; I'm a girl, had never installed a water faucet in my life but with the instructions it took me about 45 mins to remove the old one and install this one. Oh so much better looking than the old ugly one that I had! The "gooseneck" is high enough that I do not struggle washing my pots and pans anymore... too excited!!! It was also one of the cheaper options that I saw... my second choice was $250. Definitely worth it! 5
