I ended up buying a folding shovel so now I use the quick fists for a DIY PVC awning. 5Awesome Clamps. These are great quality clamps for tools and equipment with handles like a shovel or an ax, etc. I mounted my ax and shovel in my FJ and these clamps hold them very nicely with no shacking or rattling, etc. 5No question, these are best! These are unmatched in quality and are all around the best product for holding items that you need quick access to, I have 2 of these holding a shovel to my roof basket, and they have held up to 100mph, drifting through snow drifts, and over 5000 miles on the road, no wear and tear at all. I have used these in down to -6 , and they work just as if it was 60 out! I have to say, I was a little skeptical about these at first, but after testing them, I will never buy another product besides QuickFist s! Also, after getting the larger ones to hold a $150+ item over my car on a 1000 mile road trip, I can t say enough about these in this review! Try them, you won t regret it! They rock! 5Must have jeep accessory. Perfect for mounting things to your JK's tailgate. 5Quick Fist should be called Strong Fist Despite my bad luck, I thought it was a good decision to go off roading by myself without a shovel. Sure enough, at the worst possible area, I got stuck in a small soft spot. I had to use a log and some arm strength to get my vehicle out of this predicament. In an effort to never have this happen again, I decided to get a shovel for my off-road venture vehicle. However, as you know, if you use a shovel, it gets dirty and isn't always feasible to throw inside the vehicle. I found this item on amazon and decided to give it a try. This mount holds everything securely and tightly. Just keep in mind that it does not come with any other accessories other than you see in the picture. I had to purchase a nut, bolt, and electric wire clasps to mount it to my roof rack. I have taken it over some pretty rough roads and it hasn't budged at all. Although it states it as a quick fist, I think it should be called "Strong Fist!"So if you venture areas by yourself and need a shovel mount, this may be the item for you. 5Good Clamps, Sizing seems arbitrary Got them to mount my AR muzzle down on the passenger side of the trans tunnel in the jeep while off roading and camping. Anyways they're too small to fit around the quad rail forend (a DD mk18RIS2, measures ~2.228in OD), even at its narrowest over the barrel nut, but fit around the buffer tube nicely. These ended up getting used to mount a shovel and I'll order the larger ones to fit the rifle.Some mounting hardware would be nice, even just 2 #8 sheet metal screws.EDIT: did some measuring. The max ID of the clamps in the largest closed position is 1.645in without stretching them any. How these are supposed to hold something with an OD of 2.25in I have no idea as the latching tab don't stretch much more than an a 1/4in. 4not worth it I am finally getting around to a review. I mounted a set face up on a horizontal surface on a tractor to carry a shovel. No weight to hold it merely had to keep the shovel in place. The tractor sleeps in the garage so UV is minimal and I'm the only user so I can attest to how minimally they were used. That said it didn't even take a year before one strap broke. Good idea but it seems like a poor material choice. Way too rigid. I went back to an old ball bungee... 1Great product but doesn't match description Ordered these to hold a removable trailer jack that measures exactly 2.25" in diameter to the beams of the trailer tongue while the trailer is in tow. Unfortunately, the description that these will work to hold an object up to a 2.25" diameter is completely incorrect. They do, however, hold a bicycle pump that measures 1.875" in diameter that I carry in my side-by-side UTV, but they are close to their limit. The maximum diameter these clamps might hold would be about 2" if they were really forced to do so. But stretching them this far may be risking failure of the clamps and the potential loss of the items they were intended to hold. These clamps do their job well as I have used this product in the past multiple times to hold various tools to several off-road vehicles without any problems. It's unfortunate that the maximum diameter they are capable of holding isn't the claimed maximum on the packaging. 3The clamp for everything... These are a high quality rubber clamp. I prefer these to other clamps because of the multiple ways they can be mounted and how they can grab just about anything. Be prepared to give them a good tug though. The rubber is stiff when cold and can take a good amount of effort to pull tight. That said, I like this. It gives me some confidence that they are not going to let loose of what I have attached. 4Perfect solution for rattling tools on a hunting truck... Installed in the bed of my hunting truck to hold a shovel and an axe. Seem to be the perfect solution to rattling tools bouncing around in my bed. Back of the package shows them holding a high lift jack, I'm not gonna temp fate and try that, mine weighs 70 lbs, it would rip these apart on the first bump. I'd feel confident with them holding my rifle though... I've had these mounted in the bed of my truck for a few months now, holding a shovel and an ax. My truck does not exactly get babied at all. It's been through some pretty rough terrain here in Texas and so far my tools have stayed right where I put them. I'm now ordering a couple more sets of these to hold more gear and will try it out with my high lift jack since they seem to really hold up under heavy stress and use. In the picture, we were heading out on a camping trip, in the far right you can see the Quick Fist holding my shovel and ax, on the left is my high lift jack that will soon also be held by these. Fantastic product! 5
