Customer Reviews

Sometimes you really do get what you pay for... I really loved this speaker. I use it while I'm at work and it seemed to work great then I noticed sometimes it would be kind of bassy but not terribly. I never got over 5 to 6 hours of battery life a day which disappointed me because I wanted it to last at least 8 hours a day so I started using it less hours then I noticed I still had to plug it in before 5 to 6 hours. Now it doesn't fully charge. I've had this speaker for 5 months so I guess my $35 has been used up. Its become very irritating trying to get it a charge. I leave it plugged in while in use now for the last 2 weeks and it still goes out. I wait about 10 mins and let it charge before turning it back on and it works but only while plugged in. I hoped it would at the very least last a year. I'm so disappointed. I can't exchange or return it at this point. Guess I'll be searching and shopping for another bluetooth speaker. Definitely NOT this brand. 2Satisfactory It does the job, but would be nice if it had just a little bit more room in the storage compartment inside the case for the cables. It will accommodate the USB and 3.5mm audio cables that come with the speaker, but it is a rather tight fit.I like the snap-ring cable cord included with it, and it makes it easy to attach the case to a belt loop. All in all, if you want a neoprene-feeling "sock" to stuff your bluetooth speaker into and carry it about, this will fit your needs nicely. 4Well Made Case, but Cheaply Stitched Carabiner Hook Attachment The material is soft and the speaker fits (as it should). The zipper seems durable upon initial inspection, and the carabiner hook is a nice feature. However, to my disgust, within a week of VERY light use, the fabric loop that holds the carabiner hook on tore at the seam. I initially thought it had become snagged onto something, but after looking around and seeing that there was nothing it could have been snagged on, I assumed that just the sheer weight of the speaker alone caused the threats at the seam to tear.As well, there was nowhere for the USB cable that was included with the speaker to be stored, only a small pouch at the end of the case, which is hardly big enough to put the included AUX cable. I found myself having to force the USB cable into the sleeve along with the speaker. 2Acceptable I work for the United States Postal Service and recently purchased the OontZ Angle 3 Plus Bluetooth speaker for use in my LLV truck on my rural mail route. The speaker performs beautifully and I wanted to protect it to, from and while at work so I purchased this case. I was mainly wanting a safe way to transport and store the speaker, but after reading the other reviews I was hoping I would be able to keep it clean in the case and still enjoy my music on my route. I received the case and used it at work yesterday. The case is extremely nice and I appreciate the interior mesh pocket and the carabiner clip. I have no need for them now, but I'm sure they will come in handy if I ever take this speaker on vacation and need to take the charging cables along and want to clip the case to my day pack. As for playback while in the case? Yeah, it was terribly muffled. It didn't work for me as it apparently has for others. Yet, the case itself is exactly what I was wanting for taking it to and from work. I like how smooth the zipper is and how heavy duty/reinforced the stitching for the zipper is. The interior is not as thickly padded as I would have expected, however it does protect the speaker. I deducted one star due to the mediocre interior padding. I hope that, if the company ever revamps this case design, they beef up the padding a bit. 4Great case for the price Great case for the price. Does not look as nice as in the picture until you put the speaker in it. The soft light material is actually great. Yes, it muffles the sound of the speaker if you use it in the case, but not necessarily in a bad way. I'm an audiophile, and I immediately heard whad sounded like a change in eq. No this is not the speaker for an audiophile. But I'm also a simple man who likes convenience. Putting the case on muffled the treble, but made the bass and mids actually sound more full. It lowered the volume about 2 notches, so I turned it up. If the speaker is already too quiet for a setting, it may not be a good idea to use the case, but I like the sound overall with it on or off, it's just different, which is good! This case is not really necessary as the speaker is built so freakin well for a sub-$40 speaker. This is why I love capitalism, I wanted a decent, not-quite-audiophile-quality but good, small speaker with lots of battery power for portability, and this case is a great addition to that speaker. 5Junk This case has a serious lack of any drop protection, and is not capable of storing a charging block. After using it for a week, the zipper broke. This is a cheap p.o.s., and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 1Convenient carrying case & at an inexpensive price too... Love that I can now safely carry my new OontZ Angle 3 Plus speaker. The clip is handy too! I like that I can clip this to my bag and go! Truthfully, there isn't much in terms of padding with this case. It's really just a zipper pouch with the slightest of padding. Perfect for the beach too. The neoprene case keeps the sand from the speaker and you can still easily hear your music through it. For the price ($10) and purpose; It can't be beat! 5Good protection for the Ultra, but a little on the loose side. UPDATE: The stitching has starting coming undone, and this case is falling apart with only about a months worth of VERY MINIMAL USE. The caribiner loop had also broken though we never even hung it from anything. Very disappointed with this purchase. Outside of the return window and can't find any contact or warranty info. Changed rating from 4 stars to 1.This doesn't fit as well as well as the one for our Oontz Angle Plus did, it's quite loose. Still, even taking that into consideration, it gets the job done and works well. 1Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3 Plus Carry Case: a very well designed and constructed cover for my new Bluetooth speaker. When I purchased my Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3 Plus Bluetooth speaker last week, I decided to add the Official OontZ Angle 3 Plus Bluetooth Speaker Carry Case as an accessory. It turns out I made a very good choice. This is an outstanding product. Constructed from soft neoprene, it conforms roughly to the shape of the Angle 3 Plus speaker. The three neoprene sections appear to be quadruple-sewn together, so there is almost no chance the seams will fail or tear open. The case s zipper is also sewn snugly in place. The case is not padded inside, but I think that s by design, in order to allow the speaker to be easily heard while it s playing inside the case.My only gripe: there is a mesh pouch sewn inside the end cover of the case, presumably designed to hold the speaker s charging and audio cables. Unfortunately, the pouch is too small; it can barely accommodate one cable, let alone two.I wouldn't necessarily classify the Official OontZ Angle 3 Plus Bluetooth Speaker Carry Case as an essential accessory for the Angle 3 Plus speaker. Cambridge SoundWorks has designed its speaker to be dust and water resistant to the IPX5 standard, and it is so well constructed that a carry case seems more of a convenience than a necessity. However, I have found my carry case to be tremendously beneficial because it allows me to take my speaker on road trips without any worry of scuffs, scrapes, or contamination by foreign matter like sand or dirt.I really like my Official OontZ Angle 3 Plus Bluetooth Speaker Carry Case. Highly recommended. (4 Stars ^ 5) 5Killer sound, portable, great $70 discount, and I m in love again. You deserve this in your life. Daughter had one...wife used it in the kitchen, and it sounded great. Borrowed it to use while doing some projects, and fell in love with it.Sturdy, easily set up, and the battery lasts for hours. I ve got an iPhone 7+, with two lightning connection headphones, 4 Bluetooth headphones, and two other cheap Bluetooth speakers bought at discount stores.I ve had this speaker for 9 hours now, listening to it non-stop. Actually instant purchased the zip up case for it before ordering the speaker the next day.The key word here is infatuation. Sure, there are huge multi-hundred $$$ BT speakers on the market that sound stunning. Couldn t afford a single one of those.I m living in a minimized space, tiny house situation for the foreseeable future (no longer than necessary) but until we move on up to the east side, this precious will keep my wife and I happy, 24 hours a day (yep, I play soothing and relaxing chill music while I sleep), and Bluetooth earbuds can get kind of pokey while trying to sleep, before they alert me battery discharged, please charge your headphones at 3:48 am, waking my sleepy ass up to swap the discharged buds with the other pair that I started charging before turning the light out.A wonderful addition to my mostly digital life, at a very nicely discounted price point. What are you waiting for? Go buy your right now. It will change your life. 5
