Very Pretty Product was delivered on time and in working order. I like blue Christmas lights and the fact that these act like a meteor shower makes for a very pretty display. The lights are bright too. I would buy them again. I plan on hanging them along the front of my RV camper w/ blue icycle lights strung along the side gutters, and luminary bags on the ground---should look very Christmasy. 5We love these lights! These lights are pretty awesome. The light tubes are about 12 inches apart and keep the lights perfectly straight.. The power cord was super long to plug in anywhere and the ends can be uncapped to facilitate plugging more than one in series. There is a slight delay on each tube that makes them run out of sync which is PERFECT! We hung these inside our bay window to match the outdoor blue lights we have up for Christmas. We will definitely buy more of these! 5Excellent lights for the price! These ended up being the BEST. They are not as pretty as the $25 ones but at 1/2 price, from the ground looking up one story, they look awesome.I HIGHLY recommend them. I bought 6 for a 60' length along the front of the house and every single LED and every stick worked. Plus I was able to string all 6 sets daisy chain and the AC adapter had enough power for them all. 5I loved them - the neighbors loved them! I Loved them, the neighbors loved them, they're beautiful! I ordered 2 more sets! As far as the plug part not being waterproof - I put it inside 2 plastic bags and duct taped over it, never had a problem! I'll order more for next year! 5You MUST keep the transformer totally dry. There are many sellers of these meteor shower lights made in China, but NONE of them are waterproof! If you are lucky they might last a year, assuming you wrap the transformer in a plastic, zip-lock bag...but even if you DO that, you are likely to eventually get condensate liquid caused by heat build-up in the sealed bag (it's a transformer, remember?!). My mistake was not venting the bag, so I intend to construct a "rain shield" over the transformer (on my new, third set!) instead of fully encasing it in order to keep it dry. Fortunately the manufacturers have dropped their prices from nearly $30 down to $12. No mystery why...Making a simple electrical device waterproof is not a new trick, humans have been doing it for well over 100 years, but the Chinese obviously lost their copy of the playbook! 1Pending. They are beautiful when lit, but I won't put them up until next year. I don't know how they hold up or what condition they will be in after use.MEILYHG SANTANA VEGAS asked me how long they are, so I unpacked one for you to see in the pics. From one connection to the other, its 9' not counting the plug. I don't know how many successfully work off of one circuit, either. We will see this Christmas and I will update my review.They are absolutely beautiful when plugged up....but, it rained after we put them up. All have moisture inside and the product description says waterproof, dust proof, corrosion resistant, etc. Not true. They rusted inside many filled to the brim with water. 3 don't work. Also, when you put them together, they won't work if twisted on the wrong side. I would connect one at a time turn on and then move on. When put together, take a sharpie and mark on one side to show correct circuit connection. Don't know if they will work after this season. They look bad during the day, but great at night. We are going to drill a small hole in the bottom to release the water.... 5Meteor Shower Illunination I relied on previous reviewers to try to get the most out of these lights. Yes, they string as reported. Simply unscrew the cap to expose the male connectors and insert into female connectors -- reverse the polarity if the lights do not illuminate. I, too, sealed my lights with silicone in an effort to keep out moisture. I secured the light strings using cable ties to a mature set of 3 cedar trees. The wires are white, so they are not easy to hide against the tree foliage and the 18 inches between light fixtures was somewhat limiting on where I could place each fixture. The lights are on a timer. All things considered, we are pleased to look out of our kitchen window and across the deck each night to see the "meteor shower." Time will tell if they are durable enough to make it through a central Indiana winter season. 4A pleasant effect Very pleasing effect. LEDs are cool-white. "Tail" effect suggests more comet than snowflakes, as does the speed. When first turned on, all tubes are 'in sync," but they drift apart over time, which is good, since random timing between tubes is more pleasing. Wire between tubes is about 13", so that is the maximum spacing when hung. Strings can be tied end-to-end. We are powering three strings using only one of the 5V power supplies that came with them. This is convenient, since AC power is needed only at one end of the group. No info on how many strings will run from a single power supply, but we can attest that at least three do. Still photos do not do them justice. Neither does my video, because they're much more impressive at night, but I wanted daylight to show the structure. In the dark, the impression is very, very good. We will likely buy more strings in the future. Recommended. 4Look great with 1 caveat. I really wanted to give these 5 stars. I bought a few strands last year and put them up around my deck. They worked and looked great but I didn't have enough to go all the way around. This year I got more to add to the existing strand and these 'upgraded' ones had different sized connectors so I can't plug them in together. Very disappointed about that so now I need to buy an extension cord to run the new units separately but they do look very nice. But if you're buying all new, they are very pretty. My old ones have been up since last year and still look decent (no leaks and no rust) but after awhile I'd expect the plastic to get brittle as many of my past decorations had. I'm hoping that the new strands will last even longer. So other than wanting to replace the older strands so they all fit together, they are very nice. (Maybe OMGAI has an adapter?!)UPDATE: Well I don't know if Santa is reading these reviews or it's OMGAI's wonderful customer service but I got 3 new strands in the mail about a month after I posted this. Now I can run all my strands connected together and then use the older, oddball ones in the front window. Love these lights and possibly the company... or Santa! :) (Gotta give that last star now!) 5Great lights These lights functioned flawlessly for me through Christmas and that even included a couple weeks we had major storms roll through where I live and I didn't even do any extra weatherproofing in the connections like other have recommended.No other homes in my area had lights like ours and we received many compliments on them.Will be purchasing more soon for next year. 5
