Customer Reviews

Worked for memory, but not for panorama modeMy son gave me his old Olympus FE-230 camera. In the manual I read that it takes panorama pictures (multiple images stitched together), but only if the memory card is an Olympus brand xD-Picture card. (His had a Fujifilm brand xD card.) So I ordered this card, and it worked perfectly to record photos, but nothing I could do would make the camera go into panorama mode, so I returned it. (Because I began reading manuals, I discovered that my LG tablet does panorama mode, so I am happy anyway.)4FASTEST SHIPPING EVER AND FANTASTIC PRODUCT I was happy to receive my M+ flash picture card and I couldn't ask for anything more. I was as well able to take a crap ton more pictures at 3M and no speed difference. Didn't notice hardly any lag or lack of pixels. I don't take much video with this but for 36 minutes of record time for vids, this made a big difference.I recommend this card for anyone needing a pic card of this type. I would also suggest not to order through no one else because i ordered this thing 3 days ago and got it in 2 days with no hassles and came in a correct protective package.thanks guys 5Wont work with older Olypus cameras. This is probably my fault, but bought this for an older Olympus camera, and I believe the card is too large (in memory) for it. The camera wont format the card. The camera manual only lists up to a 256MB card. None of my windows machines will read this card either, so this was a giant waste of money. 1Hate that I had to buy a proprietary memory cardHate that I had to buy a proprietary memory card, but I got the camera at a goodwill so cheap I can't complain. Works great in a really old Olympus Tough 7megapixel camera! Really what can you say about a memory card you have to get. It's supposedly the fasted I can get for my model camera, so not a lot of choice. Seems fast enough and it will hold over 500 photos at this low a resolution so if you're looking at this card, I'd say get this as it's the biggest and the fastest for XD cards, not to mention ;you can't find these in the store. I'd buy one soon if you need it before the market makes them very; hard to find and very expensive! Overpriced for 2gb, but still under $20 right now, who knows as less becomes available.4Great card for a great priceThis is a great card, has served me faithfully over the few months that I've used it, and I will be buying one more like it.So far, I've been able to take pictures of a lot of things with it (I bought it for use with my Olympus E-500 DSLR MFT camera) and everything's turned out great; I can shoot with it in the RAW format, or I can set it to the other formats (TIFF, SHQ, HQ, SQ) and get more pictures on one card (the RAW format, although amazing, only lets me get about 100 pictures a card.) Was glad that Amazon still had these cards, as this media format and the cameras it supports are no longer being made (I bought the camera at a local flea market here in Toronto.) Recommend this card to anybody that needs one for a camera like it, or just for data storage.5Not in original package!Bought as a gift so extremely unhappy that this came in a ziploc baggie rather than original package! I could've saved $6 buying from another (Honest) seller who listed in description that it wasn't in original packaging. However i paid the extra money for this one thinking it would be in original package. Very disappointed!1Informatiion is IncorrectAlthough I would think that this Flash Memory Card is fine, I never could try it out on my Olympus camera as it will not format. In the question/answer section in the presentation of this Card, it was indicated that this card would work with any Olympus camera. It doesn't. My camera is not a 2012 model but it is a very nice camera with many features; however, although this Card fit into the camera it refused to format and load. I would assume that the Card may be too large (capacity) for my camera but I honestly do not know. Please check with the company before purchase. I would like to add that the Card was returned without question and handled in a very professional manner. Hats off to good customer service!3The real deal, fit right into my camera, fast shipping, pix not developed yet.....This seller was great. Overnight shipping. Item arrived in factory sealed Olympus cardboard materials. I cannot remember if it had a plastic "clamshell" case as I ordered so many, I forget, I do apologize about that. I have not developed any of the pictures yet, so I do not know the quality of the images. I was able to do special effects, etc. with no problem. These camera cards are difficult to find since Olympus is the only seller. But these fit perfectly, and I've had not problems. I will be getting some developed within a week or 2, but until then I don't know the quality of the developed picture. The picture looks great on my camera screen though.5Works Perfectly in My Old CameraWorked perfectly for my old Fujifilm camera from 2001. I swapped out my old 128MB card for this 2GB card and could take tons of pictures on my vacation at the 3M setting and never came close to filling it. I did not notice any speed improvement when taking pictures. The biggest factor in speed for me is the battery quality. Switching from cheap batteries to Kodak KudAA4 Ultra Digital Alkaline AA Batteries - 4 Pack made a huge difference, especially when flash turned on due to power drain characteristics between pictures to charge up for flash again. So all that I saw was dramatically increased capacity (16X) which worked without a problem. I couldn't be more thrilled.Definitely go to the Olympus website or your camera's website and check picture card compatibility. The manual for my camera was out of date and only listed a max of 256MB and said nothing about these newer "M" and "M+" card types. But a quick check on the Fujifilm website linked me to an Olympus compatibility site which listed a large table of camera models and support. Some cameras require a firmware update to support more. My old camera was listed as supporting xD M+ up to 2GB without a firmware update when some newer models than mine needed an update to go beyond 1GB. It seems most support up to 1GB without a problem, and 1/2 support 2GB without an update, another 1/2 (minus a few) up to 2GB with a firmware update, and a few didn't support it. Bottom line, check the online chart for compatibility first. If it lists your model number and doesn't say anything about needing a firmware update, you should be fine. This is an excellent value and works perfectly (check your camera compatibility online, not the outdated manual). I can't imagine any reason not to buy the max your camera supports if the price is very reasonable.5Check Camera Specs Before OrderingThis would be a good product except it doesn't work in my camera. My camera is an older model and doesn't support cards about 512 MB. I didn't know this when I purchased the card. I had to return it. So just because your camera takes an xD card, don't assume this will work. Check out your camera to see what your model supports.3XD picture card reviewThis XD card works great with older Olympus cameras. The 2GB card seems to be not enough storage and overpriced in today's world but the older cameras that use it are typically in the 7 megapixel range or less so the card holds a reasonable number of pictures. If you have an older Olympus camera then I would definitely recommend this card.5doesn't work in my camera I have an Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom. Although this card fits into the slot and looks like my other memory cards, it forces me to format it and then shows an error, rendering it unusable. The makers of this card should list cameras with which it is incompatible. 1Works in my cameraSmall GB card, but it works with my old (never thought that 9 years was that old) Olympus camera. While the manual says to use up to a 1 GB card, the 2GB card works just fine; the camera recognizes the card and shows approx. how many pictures it will hold. With the 2GB working, I decided to tryd a 16BG card but the camera recognized it, but would only record 8 pictures with it, so returned it and got this 2nd card. Happy with the purchase!5
