Love these lights! These worked perfectly! I put these in my holiday door wreath and they worked wonderfully. I have had the same wreath for many years now and my previous house the front door was sunken and the porch light was right by the wreath, out new house is not like this. Due to a dark doorway I decided my beautiful wreath that couldn't really be seen needed some sprucing up. I seeked out these lights locally but no one had any. I got these and they are amazing. I strung them through my wreath and it just really lights it up and brings out the beauty once again. These take batteries and they lasted from the beginning of December until the end of December. This does take 4 batteries and has on, timer (6 hours) and off. I kept it on the timer and it would come on at 4pm every day and off at 10pm. This was the best investment by far and really not that expensive. I contemplated on putting in a different color but I am so glad that I chose these, they are just beautiful in my wreath. I do have a normal wreath so if yours is bigger you may want more than one as it was just barely enough for my wreath. The battery pack hid well in the wreath up against the door and didn't weigh down my wreath at all.All in all I would recommend these to anyone and everyone. They are on a silver wire and the bulbs are really small and it's so easy to hide them in anything. They would be beautiful in a center piece, in a window, in a hurricane vase and so many other places. They are subtle enough that you don't have to worry about blinding. They also don't get hot so you don't have to worry about fire. Just a great product. 5Keeps up charge with normal sunlight The charge current from the solar panel seemed fairly good, about 75mA into the 1.2V NiMH AA cell in the sun, with the current drawn from the LEDs about 20mA.The charge from one day of sunshine should be able to power the LEDs through to morning.They're accent level intensity, so it's not going to provide illumination for seeing objects, but they look festive.I lined the ribs of my 9 foot patio umbrella, and it was long enough to cover all the ribs.Lights turn off automatically when light strikes the solar panel, and there's a flashing mode that should save power.It does still charge even with the power switch off, so you can leave it off for times you don't need them visible, to make sure it's getting a full charge. 5Affordable and nice These are very nice little lights. I bought them for use on our patio, since we entertain frequently in the evening/night. Placed them into a large cut crystal bowl. They look so pretty. The only "con" about these is the battery pack is BLACK and very large, comparatively - probably 2.5"x3" or so, whereas the lights are the size of a sewing pin head. I have no idea how the base isn't showing in the other pictures. It's not a problem for me, since the bowl I'm using is not plain see-through glass, but just to cover it a bit more I folded the battery case into a piece of aluminum foil and it looks great. I don't think this trick would work if you were using plain glass, but you could cover it with marbles or sand or gravel. 5Tiny but powerful lights I purchased these and could not be happier with the product. These lights are adorable. They are very tiny and on a bendable strand that I can really add to anything I want because they are so pliable. For being so tiny they are nice and bright and really pack a punch. I plan on adding these to a floral arrangement. I am excited that I can hide the battery box. The only small issue I had was that the battery box was a little bit flimsy in the sense that I had to work with the batteries to get them into the box. The little spring wanted to pop out. Once I held it down while inserting the battery it worked just great. The only thing I have not tried is the timer feature but I will be trying that out soon. I will update only if I had a problem with the lights. 5Just the look we wanted. My husband put these on a rose arbor, which is under one tree branch, so they receive quite a bit of shade during the day. But, they still work through most of the night. They are a soft light, not bright and blinding, but they give exactly the look we were going for. He did put a glass container over the solar collector just to give it more protection: he's extra cautious that way. So far, we couldn't be happier with them. 5Would buy again at this price. 2nd purchase to help light up my stairs on the deck. Just enough light and nice accent without being gaudy or bulky. Lights automatically come on at dusk and are surprisingly still on in the morning at 6-7am when there was a good sunny day. Would buy again at this price! 4Works great! The rope lights arrived on time and were easy to install. A single days charge from the sun keeps them on all night. I strung them along the bottom of a glass wall at the edge of my deck. The pale blue color is quite attractive. The only negative is the short length of the wire that goes from the rope lights to the solar panel/battery. A longer wire would provide more options for where to mount the solar panel. I took one star off for that. It would be nice if they offered longer lengths like 45 ft and 50 ft. 4So pleased with this purchase Mounted on my outside deck - ... So pleased with this purchase Mounted on my outside deck - two rows. Love looking out my window at night. Gives off just enough light - not too much. Mounted with their P-Style Mounting clips - needed 2 packages since I wrapped the lights twice. To attach used some white (long post) tacks. 5... feet is an odd length but the lights are great.
