    Decent Price for a good product It's string so not a lot to say. I use it to tie up food like chicken, Turkey, roast, etc. for cooking. I would have given it five stars, but I was actually looking for thicker string, because that is what I am use to. Either way it seems to work fine and was a reasonable price. 4Hard-to-find essential item Every household needs string. It's quite hard to find good old-fashioned cotton string these days. Glad I could find it on Amazon. Not something you need every day, but when you need it, you need it. It will never become obsolete. A low-tech essential. 5Great for holding in the stuffing....or any other food item that needs to be tied... Wanted as a standbyfor closing up the turkey. It seems that my turkey skewers keep disappearing every Thanksgiving. This year, I couldn t find any in my kitchen drawer so sewed the bird up with cotton embroidery thread. I ve decided to sew it up from now on. Much tighter closing for the stuffing! 5I Can t Find This in The Stores I ve been looking for this type of twine, specifically made to tie poultry and meat, but I just haven t been able to find it anywhere. And, when I ask the bubble-gum-chewing-and-otherwise-distracted teen sales clerks, none of them knows what I am talking about. I am probably being too cynical, but it s true, more often than not. Since I was weary of using ordinary twine (and picking brown particles out of the chicken), and slipping around with dental floss, I was thrilled to find this on Amazon. It is absolutely perfect, and it easily ties together the legs of a chicken, allowing it to brown more evenly and it keeps the stuffing inside a turkey, without using various types of weird-looking and dangerous metal prongs and spears. Everyone who makes chicken, meat, turkey and so on, should have plenty of this on hand, as it will make the finished product evenly brown, and keep everything in place, for a beautiful presentation of the table. 5Useful kitchen item This twine is fine. It is useful to truss a chicken, tie chicken cordon bleu or flank steak roll ups and many other uses when cooking. 5As expected and great quality Exactly what I was looking for. I used it to tie on little cards for hostess gifts I made. Looked very elegant and presented well. 5I tie thyme all the time (aha) for my chicken ... I tie thyme all the time (aha) for my chicken noodle soup recipe, this does the trick and does not loosen during boiling at all! 5Great for tamales My family and I made tamales this past weekend and this twine was thick and supple enough to make it easy to secure the tamales. It also does not have a coating which makes it slippery so I will buy this again. 5It's a good amount of twine I bought this for arts and craft purposes. It's a good amount of twine, far more than I will ever need. (Read: I'll lose the it before I use it all up). It's reasonably strong and I haven't found any flaws with it. 4Impossible to find the end to pull out I never thought I'd be giving 1 star to a ball of string, but this deserves it. The one I received looked nothing like the Amazon photo. The interior chamber of mine was stuffed to the max with endless loops, none of which seem to be the pullable end piece.I suggest getting one locally where you can see how the starter string pulls out. 1
