Customer Reviews

Wonderful case, but if you re looking for a case with a front cover, this is not the model. I bought this for my six year old son with autism. He had a model like this before and it worked out great, so I wanted to get him another one. This model didn t have a screen covering like his previous one. The picture looked like it had a covering and I just assumed it did.I gave this model four stars because it is nice. It is sturdy. I like that there is a flip covering over the charging socket to protect from water or spills. The handle is very convenient for transporting. It does stand very well on flat stable surfaces. I do wish there was front covering for the screen. However, I made it work by purchasing a clear tempered screen protector. I actually like it this way because with my son s last shock protector case the screen protector it came with was some crappy plastic; it made the screen visually poor and you had to push hard on the iPad screen to go to different features. So, this model actually worked out well for me.To sum up, if you re Looking for a shock case with a front cover, this is not the right model. 4Best iPad case I've ever used This is the best case for the iPad 2 Air for my kids and me too! We bought the bright green one and its true to color. We have taken it on international plane rides and road trips this summer with great success. Its stand has been a life saver and works perfectly on airplane trays. My 3 year old can easily manipulate the stand to his liking. Its also held up to the abuse of a 1 year old. The case does not block the view of the camera for photo or Skype use and there are holes perfectly placed for the speakers so it doesn't muffle the sound. Also it is easy to open the part that covers where you have to plug it in to charge it, unlike some other highly rated and expensive cases that are a pain to open up to charge. All I ended up buying in addition to this case was an adhesive screen cover, as this case doesn't come with one but that's fine. Very happy with it and I would 100% recommend this to anyone with or without kids 5Mixed Review First, the case is very difficult to get onto the iPad and there is no directions sheet to give you tips on how to get it in. It looks great and feels like a good cushion. We ve had the case for awhile, but we haven t dropped the iPad so I can t speak to it s protection level. After using it for about 6 months, the case is starting to feel loose around the iPad. We have never removed the iPad from it, so we re not stretching it out, but it feels like it s getting stretched out anyway. One thing I do like is that it has had water splashed on it and the case keeps the water away from the ports/buttons of the device. The case folds back around charging port, but has deep cut-outs around buttons.Up until now, my 6-year-old has always used the iPad around adults. I am about to give it to him as a gift and I am going to upgrade the case to something sturdier than this. So, I guess that s the bottom line. The case is decent, but I don t feel like it s enough to protect the case during unsupervised child use. 3A good case to use around children I guess the only thing I have against this product is that it has dropped $5 in price in just the last couple of weeks since I bought mine. I had a choice between buying this model, or the one with built in screen. I decided to go with this one because I plan to use it when traveling or when my grandson visits and I imagine I will be putting the case on and off a lot. The other case I have does not have a built in screen, so I decided to get the open case and a separate screen protector. I was skeptical because the reviews were saying that it would be hard to get the iPad Air 2 into the case, so, I watched a video showing how to install it. This case is made specifically for the iPad Air 2. Nothing else will fit in it and the case is snug, which is a good thing. The video showed two things that are important to know. The case comes with a black insert fitted inside, presumably to keep the soft squishy case from getting warped in transit. If I hadn't watched the video, which was posted by a mom blogger, I wouldn't have known that I had to take that out in order to insert the iPad Air 2. Of course, I would have eventually realized it would not fit, but by that time, I might have damaged my device. So, it is advisable to watch a video before trying to install it. The other thing is that you need to start by placing the two corners fully into the corners closest to the handle of the case, because it just works better that way. If you are patient, you will be able to get it in without too much trouble and it is easier to get it off than on. It was great for my grandson, who was able to watch videos fine at an incline and loved the purple color.. My other case has a much lower incline for typing. The Newstyle case is at a better angle for kids. I felt much more comfortable having the iPad in this case while he was around. The cutouts for the volume control and power are fine, the sound was not affected by the case. There is a series of holes over the speaker. I have had it standing vertically, horizontally and inclined for typing. 5Very good, sturdy case for kids with nice handle that's great for propping up iPad I have previously bought three of these, from different manufacturers/companies, and have had good experiences with them, with my kids using them on their iPads and iPad minis. I upgraded my daughter's iPad 3rd generation to an iPad Air 2 so had to buy her a new case; I chose this one because it was relatively cheaper than the myriad others out there when I looked for one in purple, her favorite color. Although it is on average about $5-10 cheaper than the others I found, it is just as good and sturdy, and does the job. It protects against the occasional drops and the handle is nice to be able to use to grab the iPad and carry it around. The way the handle can be used as a stand is one of the best aspects--my daughter uses it all the time to prop up the iPad, at the table, on her bed, anywhere. Also, this is the first version of these types of iPad cases (made out of the croc-like rubbery material) that does not have an opening running down the length of the back (where the iPad would normally be inserted). This is much better because on our other cases like this one that does have that long opening, dust/crumbs/lint etc. get stuck or enter through there all the time and make the iPad dirty much faster. But not this one. 5Awesome product! Awesome product! All the holes were aligned perfectly with the buttons, speakers, etc. and is lightweight and durable. Also, I found out that the handle fits perfectly around the headrest, and I can hang it up in the car! 5How to Install the Cases... The I bought these to color code the iPads in my elementary art classroom, and they are the BOMB! My kids love them, no one has dropped it yet (because of the easy to grip material and the rockin' handle), and I've even had parents call me to ask what type of cases I have and where I bought them because their kids have come home singing their praises. I won't lie--the first two were incredibly hard to put on, but now I've figured out the secret. First, (and this is the hardest part) remove the plastic insert inside the case (then let your kid make it into a loom or picture frame, because it's fairly sturdy, and you won't be needing it again). Next, make sure your iPad is in the correct orientation to line up the charging port with the opening in the case. Then, holding the case handle-sided down, slip the first corner (the lower left corner, if the home button is on the left) of the iPad into the indention where the home button will be. Work the opposite lower corner in, and gently slide the bottom two third of the iPad into place. Finally, use your thumbs to work case around the top edges. If it gives you any resistance, it's easier to slide the upper right-hand corner where the volume buttons are on before the upper left-hand corner, but it will work either way.... Voila! I can get one of these on in under two minutes now, and I actually really love the fact that the case is hard to install and remove, because I know it would be just as much of a challenge for one of my kids (don't ask me why, but some new kid inevitably toys with trying to remove the case). Also, make sure you also purchase one of those inexpensive, thin screen protectors to seal the deal! Durable, easy to clean, protects better than any other case I've owned, and the kids just love how the handles fold down to create a stand. Seriously, more than 500 kids, ages 4 to 12, even some with VERY special needs, use these every school week, and my kids and I have nothing but awesome things to say about them! Hope this helps! 5so I could get it around my iPad easily. Straight out of the box After reading many reviews that their IPad cracked when putting this on it, I put it in the microwave for a little over one minute. I periodically stopped the microwave and turned the case to ensure it didn't get too hot. I found that heating it up a little, made it softer, so I could get it around my iPad easily. Straight out of the box, it is definitely not flexible, so be careful. With that being said, I still LOVE this case for my 8 year old son. It really does protect the device and is great for kids! 5The best!!!!! Buy it! The besttttttt!!I don't know how there are any negative reviews. This case is amazing. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and this case has saved our iPad Air 2 hundreds of times. I think the only item that can make a negative is a drink near the iPad because the screen isn't completely sealed. That was a pro for us though, nothing is more frustrating then having a device and you have to pound on it like a woodpecker to get it to react.Update - This item continues to be amazing! I have a soon to be 4 year old and a VERY rough almost 2 year old. We still have an intact Ipad, with no cracks, no dents, it's perfect. It's been stepped on, thrown across the room during a tantrum, sat on, dropped numerous times and still no issue. The case itself is still holding up so well, I don't even see signs of wear on the case. Really really happy with this item.Seriously great purchase!! 5Saved my kids ipad multiple times Ok...so it doesn't look like much...but I have to tell you BEST THING EVER! My 5 and 6 year old have had their ipad about a month. The case wipes clean with a cloth...fits snug...and I have watched my children drop a $600.00 ipad multiple times with out a scratch. It actually bounces with this case. I was afraid it would come apart quickly...but it has stood up pretty well do far...and the capability of it to turn the handle into a stand is very kid friendly. I would definitely buy this again. 5
