    Comfortable Great hard hat I really like the fasttrak iii suspension system. It is one of the most comfortatable hard hats I ve have worn in my ten years in the field. I do wish they they offered the cap in a small. But besides that if something happened to this hard hat I would hesitate to purchase another. I m not sure that it s much lighter than the average hard hat.l but it is a cool looking hard hat. Msa needs to offer it in a larger variety of colors. Imo 4great price and arrived quickly great price and arrived quickly. these helmets are stamped for four years, and the one i got is only good through 2020. union carpenter will get plenty of use out of it regardless. 4Nice change from my issues hard hat It fits fine. It s a normal MSA harness that adjusts. The color was a bit lighter than advertised and the easy reversible harness didn t come with it as advertised. It was the standard one way harness. That s why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise it s light and sits lower on my head than the V too hard hats my contractor issues. I m 6 3 so the V top hats hit things while on my head lol 4So the hard hat is super comfortable, I however felt as if I was ... So the hard hat is super comfortable, I however felt as if I was dooped... paid full price for what I thought was a brand new product.. the plastic was cut open which I didn t think much about because maybe they opened it to check if it was okay. I m cool with that... well I got it out and notice where the suspension goes there are a few rub marks as in it s been used. Then I began to notice more and more. The whole brim around the hard had was rubbed and scrapped and on the inside was intinals. Now I m pretty upset paying $85 for what I thought was a brand new product which was used, but I cannot return as I had already placed stickers on it to allow me to get into work the next day.... very upset will not purchase from this seller again and will tell everyone about it that will listen.. 2Protects my head and doesn t melt. I had to buy a new hard hat because my old one was melting from me throwing it at my feet while I was in a man lift and welding in the air. The spatter would then make it s way into my hard hat and over time it was all pitted and messed up. I bought this one because a lot of guys on the job sites were rocking them and I was told it was for welders.... Well, problem solved. The hat looks cool, does not burn up, and protects my dome. Couldn t ask for anything more unless it s a winning lottery ticket so I won t ever have to wear a hard hat again. Until then, it s gonna be this hat. 5Good size The small size is actually smaller and looks better on my 6-7/8" head 5DONT HESITATE TO RTN IT ! Hard hat itself is ok but the item was wrong from the start as the description stated a swing - ratcheting suspension . Not true . I initiated a refund on that basis and never got a around to shipping it out so I gave it to a co-worker as a gift . He loves it but then again he didn't pay $95 for it . The suspension that came with it was a simple NON RATCHETING - NON SWING unit and that was a deal breaker for me . Another thing to note is the SIZE of it . I thought hard hats are hard hats and the shells are the same - not in this case . The one they sold was a medium and when I tried it on it look small so be careful on that level as well. On my colleague it fits ok but then again he wear a 7 " fitted hat and I need a large hat size .Good luck and try on somewhere before buying if possible and if they send you the wrong suspension DONT HESITATE TO RTN IT ! 2Seems cheaper than any typical MSA Skullguard hardhat that I ve worn The coating on the hard hat is already peeling some from the edges. I ve worn this type of hard hat in the past and the product was more durable, and the edges where the hard hat was cut were a lot cleaner and were sealed. The edges on this one don t seem sealed the way previous hard hats I ve worn have been. It seems much cheaper and more poorly done than their hard hats of past. Not sure if I got a defective one, a reject or if MSA has started to cut corners to save a couple bucks. My prrvious one lasted 10 years without this problem. 3Color is definitely lighter than shown in the picture Great hardhat, very strong. Head band is very comfortable. Only thing I m not crazy about is how light the color is. I read this in the reviews and saw a few pictures but it doesn t seem as bright until you pull it out of the box. I m not sure why they re lighter because I ve seen hundreds of these made by MSA that were way darker and were the actual shade they re supposed to be. Other than that I think this is a great quality product. 4Hardhat almost expires. Its April 2019 and this hardhat I just recieved have an usable time of [as do all hardhats] 2017, 2018, 2019 &2020 . So I'm only getting 1 .5 years before this hardhat expires 1
