Network function really works! We have a total of 10 of these lights now. They work as advertised -- if the motion sensor on one is tripped, all of them come on. Understand that they're only 200 lumens, so they're not super-bright. However, they are bright enough to aid our security cameras in getting good quality night images if anyone comes in the yard. I highly recommend them and the fact that they each use 3 standard D-cell batteries is cool. No wiring involved! 4Water resistant not water proof. I have owned these networked motion lights from 1-2 years. They work great however after a year 3 of the lights have water In them and no longer work. I was unaware of the additional warranty available if you register your lights so I m out of luck. The one thing I noticed is that the lights that got water in them were exposed to direct rain the others were either under trees or a cover of some type. I recommend adding some silicone if you mount them without protection. I would say they are water resistant no water proof. I do recommend them. I would also like to return these water damaged lights if Mr. beams is reading this. For your research. 4Excellent Lights These lights work great! We bought these for our basement. We set the first light to shine at the top of the stairs. As soon as you begin to walk down, the other three lights light the rest of the basement. Not a replacement for permanent lights in a large basement, but it does a great job lighting up the location so you can see where you're going and where you're about to step. The networked feature is great. I wish they made some of their other styles with this feature (such as the Mr. Beams stair lights). You'll notice lots of knockoffs in this style throughout Amazon. Make no mistake though, the Mr. Beams lights are the one's you want. Very sturdy, easy to mount, and quite bright. We've had these installed about a month and they still work like the first day we installed them. 5and the setup was easy. I mounted them every other post I purchased three of these lights individually from a big box hardware store because I had an immediate need for backyard lighting. When I saw how bright these were, and how effective the wireless sync worked, I purchased this six pack. The lights are bright, the housing is durable, and the setup was easy. I mounted them every other post, as I didn't need full coverage. I just wanted enough light for the dogs to do their late night business and to deter unwanted guests. 5Questionable Waterproofness I am generally happy with these lights. I have 6 of them installed around my home split into two groups. Four of the six are under eaves and have performed great. However, one of the two that is not under an eave has been a problem. Just after a year of use, it stopped working. I pulled it down, and water flowed out of it. Fortunately I was able registrar for the two year warranty, and it was replaced after contacting the company.Fast forward to last week, when I found that the replacement what they had sent has stopped working, and once again it was full of water. It is just days short of the end of the two year warranty and to their credit, the company has sent out another replacement, and the say this is not a common problem. My experience says that it likely is.Attached is a photo of the corroded circuitry of the leaking light. 3Excellent lights, solid connectivity and battery life It's easy to talk about this product and all the things it can't do, so I'll do it, but I'm very happy with what they *can* do. Could they be brighter? Sure, but anything much brighter and you'd be replacing batteries like crazy, or you need to get AC power to 6 locations on the exterior of your home. Could they be "warmer"? (i.e. not such a cold, blue light), sure, it'd be nice if they had that option. But these things are great. We have them at each corner of our home, with a maximum distance of 50ft between them. They all talk to each other very well, one gets tripped and the others light up. The provide plenty of light to get around and the battery life has been excellent. They are probably tripped 15 times a night and have been going for 5 months strong. I'm docking a star because I think the light turns off too quickly after tripped, it feels like 15 seconds. My non-wireless Mr Beams stayed on for more like 30-60 seconds when tripped, which is a better amount of time when you're standing in the cold, waiting for your little dog (who is too small to trip the motion sensor) to go potty. I'm standing their shivering waiving my arm under the light every 10 seconds to keep the light on.My silly needs aside, I highly recommend these. Easy to install, I had all 6 up in 30 minutes. Easy to adjust and aim, I had no issues getting these aimed exactly where I wanted, even in tight mounting corners.I suggest grabbing a flash-light or headlamp and at least aiming these while it's dark out so you can get the beam in just the right spot before committing yourself to drilling holes in the wrong spot. Just be careful standing on a ladder in the dark. Doing it in the dark meant I could line the beam up perfectly so it didn't shoot into my neighbors yard or into my bedroom window. 4Let There Be Light ( there was for awhile) These are great lights when they work. I have bought 8 of them over a 1 year period and I was lucky until a couple of months ago. I have 6 of them outside and 2 inside. One of the outside one's has quit and one of the inside ones just keeps on going on and off, every minute or so.The lights turned out to be still in warranty and Mr Beams replaced all 3 without a problem instantly.I now have 3 new lights, and I didn't even have to send the bad ones back. That is what I call fantastic service, I would certainly buy Mr Beam lights again. 5For multi lamp co-ordination of lights the networked version is the way to go Great products that perform as expected. The networking is great allowing four of our lights to come on around the side and back of our home when any one sees activity. On another frequency I have two that light up the front entrance and walkway around the side and front of our house. The light is not super bright, however it is certainly enough to allow safe walking in the areas lit up. I ordered a few more for lighting a basement hallway/laundry area and workshop so that I could walk through the laundry area without having to turn on the multiple fluorescent lights in there for the few seconds it takes to walk to the workshop. They work very well for this purpose, and in the workshop I can go in and pick up a tool needed for a task elsewhere in the house without needing to turn on the shop lights. 5Not weather proof. At all. Not even close. Put them up, super easy. Got all four to network together. Awesome. Nice and bright for a battery powered light, perfect for lighting my dark driveway. Very pleased . Then it rained a couple times, they started acting a little funny but cleared up. About six months later one went out, no problem must need some fresh battery s . It was full of water. Let it dry and it worked, sort of. The sensor no longer worked but it still came on with the others. Flash forward another six months. One works. ONE OUT OF FOUR MADE A YEAR ! they have all filled with rain water, except the one I siliconed shut, you know, the one that still works ! These were NOT left in direct rain, mounted about fifteen foot up on trees with dense canopies . In conclusion, DO NOT BUY Mbn354 Mr.Beams. Unless you plan to use them indoors. Then they are fabulous . 1Awesome lights - work well for me Have moved them a few places but currently I have them on both sides of the garage. I painted them the same color as my house to help blend in and they don't look too out of place. May raise them higher but kind of like them tucked into the door opening. The network is great for lighting up both cars, entire driveway. I just wished they were a little brighter since these are being used for security not like my others which I use for my dogs nighttime potty breaks. It would also be neat if they could make a square enclosure so I can make them blend in even more with my house. 5
