Seriously Heavy Duty This TV mount is very likely the best value I've managed to track down on Amazon. I have to say the unit is almost too heavy duty for most 24" flat screen displays or TV's. The negative reviews I read on here are from people who likely did very little planning before buying a mount since a few of them complained about the mounting flange covering plugs and jacks on the rear of their set. It's a very large mounting surface indeed and has ample mounting holes for a vast amount of different VESA configurations. If the unit had a downside it would be the lack of quick disconnect for the mounting plate from the wall mount strut, but that's a rare feature I've only found once in the past.The mounting hardware came with tools and more mounting hardware than most folks will ever need. Buy with confidence but if you're mounting less than a 32" unit you might want to consider something a bit less beefy. 5Difficult to install. The mount is just okay. It articulates well. Mine came with an assortment of screws, lag screws, anchors etc. It even came with a HDMI cable.It was missing the 6mm washers though. The instructions were clear. You have to mount the whole unit to the wall first, then you have to hold the tv up to the vesa base plate while someone else attaches it. It was a real pain in the backside. You might even need two people to hold it while one person places the mounting screws to the vesa plate. I will not or would not buy this again or recommend this product. Good price is the only positive thing that I can speak of. 3Sturdy, easy to assemble A truly complete package to put together; even includes a bubble level. Swings into desired position easily, yet doesn't wobble or move once its adjusted. It doesn't fit quite flat against the wall, because of the adjusting mechanism, but I'm really quite pleased with it, and it frees up a lot of space on the table top. 5once we found the stud it was easy but I should mention that we needed some other ... Great" does what it supposed to do" twist,turn,up & down then move side to side what's next the funky chicken ?? But seriously it took two of us to mounted to the wall, once we found the stud it was easy but I should mention that we needed some other bolts that didn't come with it the ones they had was the right size but just two long so we found the shorter ones at home depot.... 4I'd give 5.5 Stars if I could. I am the Maintenance Supervisor at a nursing home and we prefer our resident's TVs to be wall mounted for security. I have installed a lot of mounts, every shape and size.Right off the bat I can say this is a quality product. I've seen 100$ wall mounts that aren't as heavy duty or versatile as this one.That being said, this mount is in the style which I prefer (as far as full motion mounts go) for its stability and dependability. The thing about this style, though, is that for an inexperienced person this can be a difficult mount to install.That is just the way it is. Doesn't matter which brand you buy, if it is in this style, it will probably be a challenging install. I hate to see this product get a low score for something like that.Now, I typically have to install mounts like this by myself with no assistance. I don't recommend for anyone to take that approach. But, if you absolutely have to, here is how I would do it. Remove the bolt that is holding the single arm with TV bracket onto the double arm with wall bracket. Then, install the TV bracket to the TV. Now, get yourself a step ladder so that you can be more or less at chest level with the wall mount. The mount itself needs to be mounted to the wall at this point. Now, hug the TV, supporting it with one arm and your chest, so that you are sure it won't fall, and if it does, that the top of your stepladder will help catch it. Then carefully try to line up the holes on the single arm and the double arms so that you can use your free hand to drop the bolt back through. Once it drops through, you can ease up. Keep a hand on the TV, just in case, and use your free hand to get the nut started on the tip of the bolt. Once it is partway on, finish it with a ratchet or wrench.I like the fact that the wall bracket has multiple configurations for your lag bolts. This is honestly the first product I have personally handled with that feature. Also, it has a snap-on cover for the wall bracket which conceals the lag bolt heads. Yet again, an uncommon but great feature.The included level and HDMI cable are a nice bonus but this is a great deal even without them. I wouldn't factor things like that in to my decision to purchase a wall mount.At the end of the day, this mount is a lot of bang for the buck, and stands out for me even given the fact that Amazon is literally flooded with quality mounts at great prices.I have purchased 2, one for a 40" LG and one for the 32" TCL Roku TV from Wal Mart. 5Hole pattern is incorrect I purchased this item for a new 32" TCL TV. The mount seems to work as a advertised in every regards except for one very important one. The mount has a variety of hole patterns that can be matched up with the particular hole pattern on the back of ones TV. In my particular case, in order to match the hole pattern on my TV I had to turn the mount 90 . This meant the vertical bracket which is intended to mount to a single stud on the wall was now turned horizontally. As we all know studs run vertically, so this will not work. There is no way to adjust the mounting plate to make it work. I did not want to deal with the hassle of the return, so I made my own plate with the correct hole orientation and bolted it to the existing plate. 1Good for money. Check your set. This is a fabulous mount. It's very cost effective. It comes with plenty of Lag bolts.Install was very easy with a known Stud location. Middle hole has a "key" shape so you install first lag without holding it on the wall. Slip the mount over it into position. Use the included level to make it plum. Mark the top and bottom bolt holes. Install the Lags. As other have mentioned you need to support some of the TV weight when re-positioning.Cons:The side Edges on mine weren't exactly straight, but it worked anyway.I had to provide my own felt pads to prevent damage to wall when collapsed, however I didn't expect it to.The included M4 screws were too short for the recessed VESA holes in the back of my Emerson set. 4Highly regarded I absolutely live this product!! I wish I had gotten this instead of the ones I ve been using for the last 2 years! What a difference. I like so much... just ordered another one 5Great Mount - Bugger to Install I bout this because I own other Mount-It products and made some assumptions. It is a little difficult to mount because the VESA adapter does not separate from the bracket, so it is awkward to install the TV. It also did not come with screws for my TV (M6), so I had to make a trip to the hardware store.Once installed, the mount is sturdy and functional. It's just a bugger to install. 4Short of Perfect This item was received on time and well packaged.Not many loose parts are needed with this design, so it was easy to install with the exception that there were two choices -1. Mount the mount to the TV and then bolt the whole assembly to the wall.2. Install the mount to the wall and then install the TV to the mount.Both require strength and dexterity for a one-person installation. I did it, but I was lucky. Two people would have been easier, three better.The mount works fine, except that it doesn't allow for up and down movement, just tilting the screen which is almost impossible to do.I am happy with this product, but if I needed to adjust the tilt often, I would get another. Same with the up and down adjustment. 4
