    Great mount - One Piece!! I looked for about a month for mounts and I'm glad I chose this one! I originally got the Cheetah mount and when it arrived, I must have not read the fine print but it was 2 pieces and I was not interested in 2 piece mounts. I have a cheetah mount and they used to come in one piece. This Mount It was the ONLY mount I could find that came in one piece so I grabbed it and I'm glad I did. One piece is a must in my opinion, the size also allowed me to hit (2) sets of studs where the Cheetah mount would have only caught one set. This is solid from top to bottom and it has the ability to add your sockets in the middle of the mount which is nice. It took me about 1 hour to install but it s because I wanted to be SURE I was hitting studs and it was right where I wanted it. I also added some anchor screws to the holes at each end of the mount for extra safety. I hung on this mount and it s not going anywhere.I gave it 4 stars because the washers that came with it are very flimsy (picture) once you tighten the lag screws they bend into the mount. I was able to use 2 of my own washers on the lag screws I hadn t installed yet but the other 2 have the washer bending which I m sure will be fine but use your own washers. I have an LG LA7400 and the mounting screws that go on the back of the TV were also too long or too short.. I didn t want to use spacers so I went out and got some inch screws for 55 cents each and used those instead. Most important piece of advice. After it was all mounted and looking pretty I realized there was a glare from the ceiling light RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the TV. UGH!!! Don t make this mistake. Try to be sure you won t get any glare. I m hoping if I used the tilt feature you won t see the glare. Overall great solid mount!! 4TCL 55 S405 Users Take Note; Still--Solid Mount for the Money I normally wait a couple months before writing a review, but honestly--I installed the product so I'm not sure exactly what else I'd do with it to update this review.I ordered the medium size mount. It was advertised as being approximately 25" in length to reach 24" studs.. The unit I received was closer to 30". No big deal for me, I was actually a little pleased that it was larger than expected. It was incredibly thick and robust, it doesn't appear to be cheap. I had all hardware in my bags. I will note: the instructions do refer to bolts that are not in the bag. The bag has bolts/washers etc from letter A to G. I noticed my G portion had several different size bolts, which appropriately matched J/K/L that they were referencing.The part that mounted to the TV felt solid. The hooks click in nicely and there are screws (Phillips Head) that you must tighten to lock in place. I would of preferred a rubber tip on these because I noticed one started digging into drywall.My biggest annoyance, was mounting the TCL 55 S405 TV. with a 200x200 VESA mount, there was about 1" of mount sticking out below the TV. A quick dremel cut later and it was gone, but so was my return ability (and...what 700 VESA?) So TCL 55" users take notice, the metal is thick enough you would not want to hacksaw your way through it! :)Also, while remounting the TV after the cuts, it is sensitive to positioning of the bolts on the back. My first 'remount' left the TV just a little tilted (level confirmed it) I had to take it down and adjust the screws in the back by loosing the screws pulling down or up to make sure both sides were pulled towards the same side of the TV and tighten them back up.Other than that, it turned out clean, I was able to pull my cords through the mount inside the wall. I'm very pleased. 4Good Quality but had to buy hardware This is a nice TV wall mount. Sturdy construction. Very versatile in mounting the TV to the brackets and the brackets to wall. Had no problem attaching to the studs. I have two criticisms. The instructions suck. I must have read them over a dozen times. Lots of important details left out. Secondly, there was quite the selection of screws included, none of them were the right size for our TV. We have a 55" Samsung 4K 8000 series TV. I had to go to the big box store to get the right screws. All in all, I am happy. The cost saving outweigh the minor inconveniences. 3this mount is very straightforward and nice. It was easy to mount and the quality ... With the vast amount of TV mounts out there, this mount is very straightforward and nice. It was easy to mount and the quality for the price is great. The only issue I had was that none of the lag bolts supplied (there are 4 different sizes to accommodate an array of TVs) fit my TV (Samsung 55"), so I used the largest bolts for the top and added two dummy nuts to serve as washers. So the hardest/most time consuming process for me was getting the brackets attached to the back of my TV. Mounting the stand and the TV itself was a cinch. Do yourself a favor and save $50+ and buy this mount (or the 3 wall stud version for a few $ more), you should be happy. Note to interested reader who is on the fence about buying this TV mount, I am picky as heck, hopefully that helps you make a decision. 5Wall plate in the box is only 25.5" wide, not 32.1" as claimed in one of the website illustrations. Pictures on the amazon website for this product showed pictures and illustrations of the wall plate having 3 square holes. Even the cover of the box it came in, and the first page of the installation instructions, showed that as well. One of the website illustrations indicated the wall plate is 32.1" wide. (The description said it is 30" wide.) In fact, THE WALL PLATE IN THE BOX IS ONLY 25.5 INCHES WIDE AND HAS ONLY TWO HOLES. (See attached picture.) That is not wide enough for my needs. (Hole count doesn't really matter.)I wish I could figure out how to order the MI mount that has a 32.1" wall plate -- IF indeed there is one. I could order the larger mount for 42-70 inch TV's (mine is only 40 inches), the one with 4 holes, per the picture. It's dimensions illustration indicates its wall plate is 33.45" wide (description days 34"), which would be fine. But at least one reviewer said it is 36" wide, and my TV is only 39" wide, so the wall plate would be somewhat visible at the side that will be open to the room. But I guess that's my best option for getting a tilting mount with a single-piece wall plate that can be bolted to three studs. 132" - 60" Universal Wall Mount This is a very sturdy mount, obviously capable of mounting much heavier TV's than the current crop of LED TV's. Installation is simple and straightforward and hardware is included to mount just about any TV to any wall surface. After reading several other reviewers comments about the built-in level, I used a carpenter's level instead of relying on the built in level. From that, I did determine that the built in level was slightly off, but probably not enough to bother most people.The only problem I had was easily solved, but could be troublesome for someone without the proper tool. The vertical supports have two pins passing through each of them to allow adjustment of the viewing angle. These pins are held in place with spring "C" clips. On both of my vertical supports, one side of the bottom pin had came loose, leaving the spring clip and washer loose in the packaging. I have a spring clip plier, so fixing the problem was easy. Without the pliers, it could have been somewhat frustrating.A potential problem for some would be the length of the vertical supports. The box and Amazon's description both state that the mount is for 32" to 60" TV's. On my 40" Sony TV, the vertical supports were the same length as the TV is tall. On a smaller set, they obviously will stick out and show at the top, bottom or both. If you are using them with a TV smaller than 40", I recommend you go to the next smaller size. 4Great mount! Note my installation hints below... This is a great tilt mount kit for the money. Only two negatives:1. Instructions are just "ok"...could be much better (no mention of any of the tilt mechanism).2. The bracket arms are ~20" long. My 32" tv is only 19" tall, so the brackets are longer than the tv -- no ideal for the brackets to show. But once the tv was tilted, you can't see them :) My advice is if you have overhang, have it at the top.Installation Hints:1. I bought this model as it has a longer wall bracket than the cheaper models (32" I believe). If you get a mount with a 17" wall bracket (enough to cover 16" stud width), you can't move the tv along the bracket to center it within the room -- as it's unlikely your studs are going to be perfectly centered for your tv placement (center of wall, centered to bed, etc).2. When you attach the brackets to the tv, it's very important that you install the brackets so the nut for each of the tilt knobs is facing outward. Once the brackets are affixed to the tv, then install the tilt knobs. Neither of these items are noted within the instructions.3. Once you have the tv brackets secured to the wall bracket at the top, you can adjust the tilt to upward max -- thus giving you room underneath to tighten the security bracket screws.Hope that helps someone -- sure wish I had known :) 5Works, but instructions left much to be desired The instructions reference primary bracket parts (a), (b), and (c), and fastener hardware (d) through (r). However, as you can see in the image, the packet of fasteners was labeled (a) through (g). I kept digging through the packaging looking for parts (h) through (r) and eventually came to realize that the letters on the parts packet didn't line up with the contents of each group of parts, and in fact had nothing to do with those contents. By opening the individual packets and sorting the contents by size and type I was able to determine that all the parts where there. I just had to ignore the instruction sheet's references to parts by letters and simply go with what part seemed to fit the need.Beyond that, the instructions were ambiguous. For instance, the last step says to insert "the Safety Bolts..." Safety bolts sounds important, right? Nowhere in the parts list is there anything labeled "safety bolt". I've got my 55" tv hung on this bracket, and I still don't know what safety bolts are, but it seems to be secure. And securing the installed monitor bracket to the bottom of the wall plate would best be accomplished with two people -- one to make sure the monitor bracket doesn't get pushed off the top of the wall plate and sending the tv crashing on top of the second person who has his head pressed against the wall with a very long philips screwdriver in one hand and his cell phone flashlight in the other while attempting to engage the set screw without pulling the bottom of the monitor bracket away from the bottom lip of the wall plate.Like I said, this did the job in the end, but with so many other options out there, get one of those. 2Study mount, easy but time consuming installation - be prepared! I am NOT the most handy person, but I'm also not the least. I'd say I'm a regular Joe. So I decided to forego my TV retailer's $100 installation and do it myself. I visited two different stores to examine and play with displays and read about 50 different reviews online for mounts, so I feel qualified for this write-up. I originally wanted a "full motion" mount that could extend and pivot sideways, but every review I read had bad comments about sagging/instability, so I stuck with the simple tilt. I had just bought a brand new Vizio flatscreen that I saved up MONTHS for and it was far from cheap, so more than anything I wanted a mount that protected my investment.And I got it. This thing is solid as a rock; I bet it could hold me (180 lbs) if I hung on it. Installation took longer than I wanted (about an hour), but only because it was my 1st ever TV mounting, I was nervous, and I had to make a couple trips to Home Depot down the block to get things I didn't realize I'd need. So, in that spirit, here is some advice/hints for you.1) FIND THE STUDS. If you don't know how, ask someone who does. I asked the guys at the Home Depot and they set me straight. My studs were 19" apart (regular is 16") because I mounted over a fireplace so they were irregular. You will 100% most definitely want to do this.2) - It comes with a level! When drilling into wood paneling like I was, you want to get it right the 1st time, because you can't just spackle and re-paint bare wood. You have to be 1 and done, and the built-in level was really helpful for this.3) - You need a power-drill, 3/16" bit, and a socket wrench. Drill is for pilot holes for the lag bolts, and socket wrench is to save you a lot of time and effort with the lag bolts. The lag bolts (bolts that go into the studs) are huge, and it takes some serious effort to get those puppies in - a good thing, but I did it with a small monkey-wrench and it was time consuming and tiring. When I go to remove, I will use a socket wrench.4) - It comes with a ton of hardware you won't use. But that's a good thing, too - different TVs take different hardware to mount, so they cover all their bases. Handy.Now my TV is up and looking great, and I have 0 concern about its sturdiness. Seriously, when installed correctly, this thing is no joke.Overall - extremely sturdy mount, but be prepared with everything you need before starting the install to save a lot of time.Hope this helps you, Amazonians! 5Warning! Wall bracket is too small! Wall bracket is too small! Advertised as fitting holes in tv up to 30" apart, but the wall bracket is only 25 1/2". My TV has holes 26 1/2" apart. I'm not happy. 1
