    DURABILITY ISSUES? Best mount around! Durability Issues? AMAZING!I searched everywhere for a full motion mount for my 55" Samsung TV. With Wal-Mart and BestBuy wanting $150+ for their mounts I figured a better option had to be Amazon. When I found this mount I read all the NEGATIVE reviews first (as I always do) and it seemed to be the standard customers being anal and no REAL ISSUES with the mount. And the POSITIVE heavily outweighed the negative, with that and the price I figured Id give it a try.It took a couple of days to receive the mount. Its made from some pretty thick metal compared to lower quality mounts. I bought a mount about a year ago from eBay which was half the thickness of this mount, that was a PLUS right off the bat. Installing was fairly simple for anyone who has done handy work around the house before but for someone who has NOT had any experience Id suggest getting some help because the directions are a vague as they can get. I was a bit worried that I had only the 2 center holes to use in this specific application, but I went with it. The 1/4" Hex Lag Bolts that came with the mount were perfect. I mounted this using the 2 center holes directly into a wooden stud.After 10-15 minutes the mount was leveled (came with a level as well) and installed. Skeptical I had a buddy of mine help me place the TV on the mount waiting for something to give or bend like the negative reviewers were saying would happen. BUT, NOTHING!NO GIVE! NO PLAY! NO BEND! NOTHING!Its solid as can be. Fully extended and collapsed its perfect and sturdy. Most people would find a perfect placement for their TV and call it a day, but for everyone else like me that moves the TV daily, it does the job and some. I swing the TV out fully while I'm getting my game on, then at night I push it back kitty-cornered.I'm writing this review WEEKS AFTER the install and can say to ANYONE thinking of purchasing this mount.......DO IT! It is still as durable as it was when I first installed it and has no bend or play while moving at all.I LOVE IT AND RECOMMEND IT! 5It s also super wobbly even when installed correctly Doesn t hold as much weight as it says it should. It s also super wobbly even when installed correctly. Fortunately, we need our tv to tilt all the way down, or I would ve returned it. I m just hoping it doesn t just fall off the wall. It s installed in stone, or else I d just take it down. It d be a huge hassle to remove it. I suggest looking at a different mount. 1Great mount for a 40" TV The mount came well packed and complete with all parts. Instructions are pretty clear, but there is a little guess work involved with setting up the mount. That is to be expected as it does fit many different sizes of TV. There is a selection of screws for attaching your equipment and attaching to the wall, along with a small bubble level.There aren't clear markings for what holes correspond to what size mount. Trial fitting was easy, but when the plates are all together, they don't create a totally flush surface for our TV. The adjustable plates have overlap, so there had to be space between the TV and the lower mounting plate screws. The larger set of supplied screws were too long, even with the included spacers. I was able to use the short screws, with a couple of stacked washers to make up for the overlap of the plates. Once the plate was mounted to the TV, I used some self-drilling screws to attach the base onto the wall. The level worked well for getting things square.Putting in the forward most screws onto the extension arm made slipping the TV onto it very easy, and then the locking screws were also easy to thread in. Adjustment was fast/simple, and the TV moves with a little resistance, staying put when you let go. At full extension, you can put the TV all the way flat against the wall to the right or left, and the arm is long enough that the TV can sit at 90 degrees to the wall. While this is not the absolute best mount I have ever used (no rotation at the mounting plate), it is still a great mount that works really well with a 40" TV. 4Working great holding my 55" fully extended with no worries. Worked as advertised. Just one thing would make it perfect but I will get to that later. It is holding up my 55" Samsung Smart TV with no problem. I choose this model for the longer then ussual arm length 2 feet out from the wall was perfect for my situation. My TV weighs 56.2lbs and is fully extend on the arm and I am not worried about it falling. The description is only for TV's up to 52" but listed max weight as 65lbs so I went for it. The only thing not included was the right size mounting screws to attach the plate to the TV I assume this is because it wasn't made for 55" TV's so I went to the hardware store and bought the next size up from what came in the package and they worked great. I also upgraded the Drywall mounting hardware. The Drywall anchors provided did not seem good enough to support all this weight, plus a four pack or 90lbs drywall anchors is only $5, well worth the upgrade to save a $800 TV. The kit came with 4 very heavy duty screws. 2 were meant for a stud and then 2 for drywall with there mediocre anchors, But I decided to use 3 of the heavy duty screws in the stud and then used 3 of my new drywall anchors on the other end and it worked great. I have no fears that it will ever fail on me. The one thing that would have made this the greatest mount for the price would be a leveling option. Some models will let you rotate the TV clockwise or counter clockwise a few degrees to make sure everything is level. NOT this model. If you do not mount the arm PERFECT your TV will look a little crocked and then you have to loosen and adjust everything and that can take a lot of time. So is it worth the extra money for the leveling feature? that is up to you. But for me I would have paid it. But it is also hard to find a model that will extend out to 24" fit a 400x400 TV pattern, and mount centered on the wall. Hope this helps 5Mount broke in half and my TV fell to the floor and broke! Piece of junk. Was remodeling and once finished, was putting a new TV in my home office. Had it installed by a pro exactly as the instructions indicated and two days later, the mount literally breaks and my brand new TV fell to the ground and broke! The TV was well within the required specifications (only 40 inches). I am so, so mad and the company won't return my messages. Horrible product/Horrible customer service!! 1Great value. Pros:* rugged/durable build quality* nice long extension from base* good design* several mount points for a little flexibility on wall positionCons:* requires a few common-sense modifications for mounting* had to obtain a few extra fasteners to make it workMy 40" Samsung TV (UN40HD6350) is now securely mounted on the wall. The mount works well.I had to buy four M8 bolts (the length is 20 mm) to fasten the mount to the VESA 200 x 200 mounts on the TV. The standard says M6 bolts (and that is what came with the mount. However, this Samsung TV required M8 bolts. Also, from reading the reviews, I decided to purchase lag screws for mounting to the studs. I think you could mount this using only two lag screws to a wall beam/stud.What I did was mount a 20" wide x 10" tall x 3/4" plywood board directly to two wall studs using 3" lag screws. I then used the thickest screws possible (with washers) to mount the bracket to the plywood. This made the install feel very sturdy, and I won't have to worry about ANY issues with the TV or bracket. (is it just me, or are stud sensors the most worthless things ever?)One place where the design of the bracket requires a little extra attention (and the instructions weren't very helpful) is where/how the brace on the TV connects to the tilt section on the bracket. You DO get to lift & set the TV onto the bracket which was pretty easy for one person. Then you add the extra pair of screws to tighten onto the curved channel that controls the tilt. It works ok and safely as is, but I would have liked a slightly different configuration with the fasteners to make tilting more smooth and less clunky feeling. Still it is ok.The bottom line is that for $44, and a few extra dollars in fasteners, I got a great TV mount that I won't have to worry about. It's a great deal for the money. But just plan for the fact that you may need a few extra fasteners to make it go the way you want. 4fits my 32" LG tv Just as pictured, just be aware it only swivels left right and up and down it does not articulatethe mount separates, I lined up the larger side to the tv and removed 4 screws that were under the 4 holes then reinstalled the screws through the bracket and into the tv, then find a good place to mount the tv, I found a stud to mount the smaller bracket to and an outlet near by, connecting the two halves of the bracket is a little tricky a friend would have made this easier then adjust in my case little down and to the right so I could see it from the bed 4This product is not half bad but it also is not half good This product is not half bad but it also is not half good. the product description says it can tilt 15 degrees up or down that is true but the tilt is not centered on the same center point so if you tilt the screen down the TV center point drops whereas the up tilt the TV's center stays relatively in the same point. I also would not put any TV bigger than 30" on this mount because the way it tilts you would loose much of the down tilt and only get some of the up tilt function (30" tv is pushing it) so this is good for small screens like 23" - 27" 2Solid built but the TV mount is a pain Overall the mount worked ok for my 42" LG TV. The only challenges were the design of the part that mounts directly to the TV and the way the plate mounts to the arm.First, The screws that were included didn't fit properly; one set was too long and the other set was too short. Would be nice if the manufacturer would have included a screw length that was in between the 2 pairs that were included. I utilized 12 mm long and had satisfactory thread engagement.The second challenge I experienced was that the TV mounting plate requires the addition of extensions to go to VESA pattern of 400x400 (which are included). The challenge is that lining them up with the holes spacings on the TV and tightening them down required a screwdriver on the "front" side of the plate and wrench/socket on the back. It would have been much better design had the design utilized a carriage both and then a locknut on the back like some of the other designs I have seen. This would allow one to place the plates and tighten them down to the TV and then tighten the extension plates down.The third challenge was the way the mounting plate nests in the arm portion; it required "hooking" two small screws on either side of the bracket. Unfortunately, the TV bracket was not bent properly and would not fit inside. I had to rebend both sides just to make it fit. Didn't take long, but still was something that had to be tweaked to make it work.Once installed, it is doing what it is supposed to do. Just could have been a much better product with some simple design considerations. 3Great mount with a little work. Great TV mount. Holds my 48" sturdily, and has not gone out of level since installing it a few months ago.Pros:-Capable of many configurations. Can be reconfigured without removing from the wall to fit larger televisions in the future.-Sturdy. Once I made it level, it held its level. No amount of moving thus far has made it go out of level.Cons:-Lag bolts may require a frightening level of torquing to hold the mount level when mounted in a stud.-Lag bolts are not the best quality. I broke a set trying to get a second stand mounted. Fortunately they provide you with four bolts, so overcoming a broken lag bolt or two is not completely devastating when stud mounting.-Instructions are not intuitive. The minuscule amount of text and illustration may make assembly seem daunting to some. Though the documentation is lackluster, I was able to complete assembly and installation successfully twice.Overall I feel this mount is worth the effort if you are looking for a mounting solution of this nature. The installation may be rocky in parts, but at the end of the day the mount is solid and conveys a feeling of durability that has so far proven true. 4
