    Fits 65" Vizio TV I originally purchased the MI-303B for a 42" Vizio with 400mm x 400mm mount pattern. We upgraded to a Vizio P65-E1 (65"), with the same 400mm x 400mm mount pattern and was able to very quickly and easily remove the old TV and replace it with the new one. Because the new TV is only 62 lbs, there is no problem with this smaller mount to support it. This mount is so easy to install and so well made, that I am buying another one for the old TV. 5Good Mount and Easy to install, but not for TVs larger than maybe 42" I hung two TVs today, one a 42" Panasonic and one a 50" Panasonic.Actual mount does not match the picture shown. The picture shows holes all along the top & bottom rows but there is not any holes in the center of the wall mount which is not a big deal it just means that you must have the wall mount offset from being perfectly centered but that alone causes the problem I'll describe below.The problem is that the wall mount is less than 32 inches (something less than 30") which means that you can't span across two full bays which have studs 16" apart. Most of the time you have your power outlet and cable/hdmi connector in the middle of your fireplace so you know that there is one stud in that location so now ideally you'd like to span across one stud to the left and one stud to the right but the mount won't span that far because it is less then 32" so you have to pick a side to attach the wall mount to two studs and if your TV is about a 42" width, that is ok because you can slide the TV on the wall mount to center the TV but on my 50" TV the brackets on the back of the TV are wider than the 42" TV and barely fit on the wall mount so there is no room to slide it on the wall mount to center the TV. If the wall mount was wider, something like 36", I could fasten the four lag screws on the outer studs and span two bays instead of one. Keep in mind that there are no holes in the center so you can't put lag bolts in that center stud because of that. 4Mount Works Great, but Instructions Lacking This mount works very well, and only took me about 15-20 minutes to get it fully setup. It includes a lot of hardware options so that it is compatible with virtually any TV (within its weight limit of course). The one downside to this product is that the instructions are not up to date. It would appear that the version of the product which I received had some undocumented features that were not explained in the instructions, so you kind of have to figure those things out yourself. The 'built-in' level shown in the picture actually comes as a separate little level piece that needs to be inserted into a small rectangular hole in the metal frame -- ok fine -- but it is virtually impossible to set into the hole with your hands the fit is so tight, I had to use a rubber mallet to tap it in until it finally clicked into place, at which point it worked great. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying. Other than that, the mount works great for its primary purpose. 4Great mount for 55 inch Samsung - maybe a little big for 40 inch and smaller Used this mount for 55 inch Samsung and overall very good quality and sturdy for TV of this size. I did have to do some pretty good figuring of how high to mount so the TV was where I wanted it. I had 2 wall boxes to work around (power and HD cables) and could not get them to fit in the open spaces in the mount so had to mount it either above or below these boxes (not the moutn's fault but still some hassle). In order to get the brackets the right height for where the mount had to be fixed to the wall I had to move the vertical TV brackets to their extreme end. This put the brackets onto a portion of the TV back that was not flat. Fortunately included were enough spacers that I was able to make it work. There is room behind the TV for cables, etc yet the mount is flush enough to look good.I mounted a 2nd TV which was a 40 inch Samsung and had similar problems with where to mount around the wall boxes. But in order to adjust the brackets on the back to get the TV at the right height the brackets nearly stuck out above the TV. I think this mount is great for larger TVs but think it may be too tall for 40 inch and smaller screens. If you dont want to see any brackets when your TV is mounted them maybe too large. I had bought a third mount for a 32 inch bedroom TV and had to send it back after seeing how big the brackets were on the 40 inch. I guess it would be fine it you were OK with seeing the brackets stick out above and below the TV.Very good value. 4Better quality for half the price!!! Very well built and sturdy. Heavy gage steel (.070" thk), with double formed hangers, should hold a heavy TV securely. Locking mechanism different than shown. Mine has a locking bar that slides under bottom edge securing hangers. This is simpler, and better in my opinion. Tilt mech works well, with adjusting knobs that are easy to reach and set. Overall quality of surface finish and edge deburring is excellent. Comes with a good variety of hardware and spacers to fit many TV brands. Also has lag bolts and wall anchors that may be overkill for most wall studs. I just used #12 pan head screws (with 1-1/4 in past paneling) and washers that worked fine for my 40" Samsung that was only 23 lbs.This unit has better quality for half the price of lesser mounts found at my local Best Buy. Very pleased!Mount-It! MI-303B, 24" Tilting Wall Mount 5Love it. Easy to install, but you may need a drill. I have a 49" Samsung Series 8000 TV. The bolt spacing is 400x400 and requires 4 M8x 43-45cm screws/bolts for mounting (the proper stand-off spacers for this curved-back were included with the TV. The MI 303b accommodates 400x600 bolt arrangement, so my set was on the extremes of one measurement. All of that is background, obviously.The kit included an array of spacers and metric philips head screws from m3 to M8. the length of the M8 was 40cm, making it too short to use with the Samsung spacers. I didn't mind that, because I chose to use the OEM spacers, so that's not an issue with the kit. Given what was included, I found that I could have stacked spacers to use the 40cm bolts in the kit.The only issue came when I went to screw the brackets to the back of the set. If you look at the pic, there are holes at the top and slots at the bottom, a clever arrangement that improves functionality. However, the M8 bolts go through the slots easily, but not through the holes. I had to drill out the very top hole (I'm on the ends of the bracket for my set) before I could insert and tighten the M8 bolt. No problem if you have a drill and a bit of the proper size, which I do.The rest of the installation went smoothly. The wall bracket is wide enough to allow bolting into two studs and the locking mechanism is excellent, A five star review but for the bolt holes 4ANOTHER hardware problem with a $2.00 FIX. I would have given this a 5 Star rating except for the hardware supplied. I was mounting this bracket on a Samsung UN49KS8500FXZA but after affixing the top of the brackets to the Television, I could not get the bottom screws to grab. Reason? Screws supplied were M8x4.0mm. I had to go out and buy replacements. Unsure exactly which size to purchase, I opted for 4.5mm and just to be sure, 5.0mm. Anyone need two M8x4.5mm hex bolts? Actually I would recommend M8x5.5 in order to utilize the supplied washers. I had to omit them because the 5mm's were a wee bit short but they were long enough to allow me to attach the bottoms of the brackets. Note that this "FIX" pertains to the specific model listed above. 4Does the job - great quality and excellent price After 2 years of having our 50-inch Panasonic plasma sit on the bedroom dresser, we decided to mount it on the wall to save space, facilitate furniture dusting, etc. We've done this only once years ago and are deliberate in measuring / planning, etc., but it only took about 50 minutes, and that included finding and gathering the drill / bits / level, and so on. The quality of this thing is very good and the design is straightforward. There are not a million pieces to deal with (they actually provide different size bolts (e.g. M6/ M8) to match the different TVs the customer might have. We used the largest - M8s - and the smaller size of bolts/washers/spacers [for curved back TVs] will just go into our odds and ends box in the garage). The mount will span only two studs that are 16-inches apart, but that is more than enough for this TV - in effect, I can bet the value of the TV that the mount isn't going *anywhere* ... a couple of notes: a 2-inch level is provided but I'd recommend using a 'real' stand-alone level. Hex lug screws are used to mount the back panel to the wall/studs but the package didn't include any tool to drive these (I have my own). Bottom line: no need to spend more than $40-60 for something of this quality. I would buy this again. 5Pleasantly delighted At first I bought this TV mount thinking it was licensed or manufactured by Samsung. Kind of like when you only have a new car serviced at the dealership, you think it will be best for your baby. Well, this is some kind of other brand, and I think the listing purposely obscured that fact. The funny thing is, this is a very well-made wall mount and I'm completely satisfied. The mount is heavy and it is as adjustible as it can possibly be. One part of the mount is bolted to wall studs, and the other part is comprised of two bars that are screwed into the TV. The bars line up precisely with the TV screw holes, and the included hardware matches those threads exactly. It does seem made for the TV - a higher-end 2010 50" Samsung plasma in this case. This mount obviously is meant to work with other (Samsung) TVs as well because it comes with a huge assortment of hardware and variously spaced holes for mounting. My TV is at least 50 pounds, but it was easy to "hang" the TV due to a clever hook and rail design. 5Great mount, easily to install and good value for money Brackets are very sturdy. Simple set up and they even include a level tool, although one is already built into the mount itself. I accidentally ordered two and ended up mounting two tv's as a result. Highly recommended that you have a good stud finder. Also, as this is really close to the wall, it can be challenging to fasten the two lock screws after mounting the tv. I found using a screwdriver with a long handle works best. Definitely slide the TV into the desired position before fastening the lock screws. The TVs I mounted were 60 and 65 inches and each weighed between 60 and 75lbs. 5
