    This Hard Shell is Good Protection I bought this for my new cell phone and am very happy with it and it's features. It provides a good hard shell of protection for my phone and it is relatively easy to open when needed (the cover just slides off). The built-in belt clip works good too. The only problem I have had with it is that the little fold-out thing that supports the phone in a more vertical orientation is hard to disengage and fold back up into the shell. I've read that others have had this foot break on them...I'm not too surprised as it takes a lot of pressure to unlatch it. Otherwise I'm very happy with this case. 5What a great case! I had something very similar when I ... What a great case! I had something very similar when I had my Razr Maxx before this phone and it was the OEM version from Verizon. The design is quite good and is of the "minimalist" design. I'm sure the bulkier cases like the Ottobox offer much more protection but it just doesn't look right to me in an office environment hanging from my belt. :) And I refuse to carry the now a days phones in my pocket. They are too big for that.Anyway, I'm not sure if this is the OEM version or a copy but everything fits just right. Yes, there is a slight gap on the top as others have pointed out but it is quite minor and unless you look for it, not noticeable that much. It does not affect functionality. The outer shell snaps on to the phone very easily. At first it feels like it won't be tight enough but once on it stays put. I don't use the kickstand so I cannot comment on that. If it ever gets loose I'll just double side tape it back on or use a little bit of glue.For the holster part, it fits well on my belt and the clip looks like it has the same sturdiness as my previous case for my Maxx. Time will tell but I don't foresee any issues coming down the line.I think for a non-rubberized full protection case, this is probably the best you can buy out there at this time and for under ten dollars, a pretty good deal. 5Great case and belt clip for the price ($6 Great case and belt clip for the price ($6.99 when I bought it). Very similar in style and design to Aduro cases I've bought in the past, but the quality doesnt seem to be as good. It fits my Ballistic Nylon Turbo perfect and provides the same level protection as my previous cases, but the integrated kickstand seems flimsy and loose and I am worried about it breaking in the future. The belt clip fits and works as expected. 4Nice Case This case is not designed or meant for drop protection. The reason I purchased this case was for my husband. He had a case just like it for his LG Spectrum for 2 years. This is what he wanted again for his new Droid Turbo. He loves it. He likes that he can wear it with a suit and it doesn't look tacky. The material is sturdy enough. The phone fits nicely. When you slide the phone into the belt clip section it is really smooth. Fits snugly. I do not feel like the phone would fall out. The belt clip works great. The pull out stand comes out relatively easy for my husband, not so easy for me. So it's not flimsy. It stays in place and holds the phone up in both vertical and horizontal position. For the price I have to say I am impressed. So often the term "you get what you pay for" is the experience when buying cheep. Not in this case! (pun intended)**UPDATE** My husband has dropped his phone 3 times in the past week. He likes to brag he never drops his phone. Now he cannot brag anymore. Each drop has only been between 3 and 4 ft off the ground. I have to say I am surprised no cracks or damages anywhere. I still would not recommend this phone case as a protection from drops. I think my husband has been very lucky. But.. as the saying goes "the proof is in the pudding". And this case protected my husbands phone from 3 low drops. 5Reliable case I purchase cell phones for our companies users. The guys that work out in the shop surprisingly like these basic Verizon holster cases the best. They don't seem like they would be too protective, but they have protected the phones of our two maintenance guys without a fail for years. I've probably purchased a dozen of these over the past few years - usually when one of the user gets a new phone model. Occassionally, I've had to replace the holster part because the clip has broken off. The phone itself has never been damaged from a drop while in this case. 5Great LITTLE case. Love it! Does exactly what I need it to. This is NOT by any means an Otter Box or the like, but it does provide decent protection from dust, grime and dirt while in the holster. The clip feels sturdy, rotates and has an awesome little kick-stand feature, and the case for the phone has a nifty little kick-stand as well. My husband (who has the same phone) liked it so much he ordered one as well! Keep in mind that with the holster and case it is not going to be a super slim case, but for what it is - it's small. Without the holster my husband can fit our phone into his carpenter pants side pocket (the little skinny one), which is his preferred method of phone carrying. 5Knock off version of original Droid Turbo casing This is a knock-off version of the original Droid Turbo exclusive case. I ordered it to replace mine when it finally broke. Obviously the Droid Turbo is an older model phone so I can't find the original case anymore.. The original case is a harder plastic and very durable, and fits snugly on the phone. This case, however, is a softer feeling plastic, almost vinyl-like. The case does not stay on the phone if you drop the phone. It tends to come off easily. I have tested it multiple times on just soft carpet. I don't drop my phone often so this won't be a problem for me, but the holster part of the case broke within two weeks. The clip had become dislodged, and while it looks like I'm not missing any hardware, I cannot snap it back into the holder. So the holster has become completely useless, and this was the only reason I needed a new one. The stand on the back of the case also broke easily. It has little plastic nubs that keep the stand in place and one wore down quickly, so I cannot effectively use the stand either. 2Broke in the first week of use I have used these type of cases from the Verizon store in the past, and have had a great experience with them. I decided to try this brand since it was so inexpensive. The material is a little flimsier than those of the ones I'm used to, which should have been my first clue that this would not last as long as the others. I still figured it would do the job for at least a year. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My clip broke within the first week I started using it. Very disappointed. 2A good case for the money The case is easy to use and fairly sturdy. This is my second one of these cases. The only down side is that if it catches on the seat belt of a car when exiting, the case can be pulled from the retaining belt clip and sometimes that means you need a new case. But considering the cost, it is well worth the money and does protect the phone reasonably well. Mine has been dropped a number of times with no damage to the phone. 5Good Value, Grew On Me After Use It's doing the job! I didn't really like it at first...felt plasticky--hey, it IS plastic...but after a couple uses this case started growing on me.I like how it's open at the top and bottom, unlike gasketed cases, so there's no reason for Bluetooth signals to be interfered with. Seems like Bluetooth headphones need hardly the slightest excuse to warble in their connection, and this case doesn't give them cause. It does feel solid. I have dropped the case with the phone in it already and absolutely nothing happened. That's nice.Good value, and it's doing what it's supposed to do. 5
