Perfect for the Samsung SWA-8000S rear speakers Perfect stands. Adjustable to set the correct height. Very stable and they are out of the way. 5Don't expect a hidden gem from this! Probably should've rated a 2 star but that would mean "I don't like it," however, the speaker stand does an okay job for what it's worth.Overall impression: Cheap with defects/problems but will get the job done. Likely get this as a temporary solution until you can invest on a much better product. My only past experience purchasing from monoprice was buying some ethernet cables 5 years ago (which work great), so I would assume the same minimum quality would apply here... sadly it doesn't.The only metal parts are the poles (top and bottom), the base plate and the weight. Everything else is plastic!First defect/problem, the weight for one of them will not screw into the bottom pole, ended up flipping the weight upside down and screwed it in through there.Second defect/problem, the screw that would prevent the plastic fastener from rotating on the top portion of the pole, well the head of the screw broke off. The way the screw is used to prevent the rotation of the fastener is via friction ( the end of the screw simply presses onto the pole) and I will add that wasn't even trying to make the screw super snug. The minute I felt resistance I would've stopped, but the screw continued turning until viola!Third defect/problem, the product isn't balanced correctly. This could be more of a minor problem so y'all could potentially disregard it but otherwise it's there.Fourth defect/problem, for my satellite speakers (Vizio s3851), it won't accommodate the input cable so I ended up having to flip the speakers upside down. Again, this is more minor but could be a potential turn off for those who have issues with it.Other notes:- Maximum height that feel I it's still safe - ~43in give or take (measured to the top of the plastic fastener)- Feels super wobbly, just be careful with tightening the stand, it uses two plastic components to squeeze the top pole from rotating or lower. Other reviewers reported cracking it from over tightening.- If your satellite speakers has an input connector, it might not fit through the openings drilled in- Made in China 3so i found these babies and they work awesome, they are just the right height and they ... these are a life saver for me .i recently purchased a home theater for when i play video games and watch movies ,anyways i didnt have much room to hang the satellite speakers ,so i found these babies and they work awesome ,they are just the right height and they look clean stealthy ,i love them ,the stand is really strong and has some kind of a weight at the bottom ,they are sturdy ,they are easy to assemble and the come with adapters for other brand speakers , 5Check Everything! I was very excited to setup my new surround sound system. After I opened the box and began to assemble the floor stands I found that some pieces were missing. With a little more digging I actually found the return slip from a customer before me. Therefore without even reviewing equipment after being returned once, it was shipped out to me with missing pieces. For less than $25 I wasn't too concerned and made due with what I had, however its the principle of this responsible party not looking into why it was returned originally and that it was then sent to me without everything that was originally paid for. 2Overall Great Product! Does Not Fit Vizio Speaker Cable Connecrions. I recently purchased the speaker stands for my Vizio SmartCast 40" 5.1 Soundbar System (SB4051-D5). As many have already stated, unfortunately the opening within the support stands is not wide enough to allow Vizio's speaker cable RCA connection to pass through for a truly seamless installation without unsightly cables. I've purchased several other speaker stands from Best Buy that costs 3x more and have yet to find one that fits properly so I cannot knock this particular brand for not fitting as well. I decided to keep this set and I used black electrical tape to "mask" the cable routing down the stands this solution is acceptable. No one will know I did this except for me which I learn to live with over time. Other reviewers have complained about the build quality and that the plastic is cheap resulting in cracks. I cannot for the life me understand how this happened unless they were either using a heavy speaker and overtightening the plastic knobs that controls the height. With that, I'm very pleased with the aesthetics and how slimline they are. 4 star rating because the seller should state speaker cable connector/speaker wire compatibility or better yet, brand or model# compatibility ensure consumers can route their cables through the stands as designed. 4Great Speaker stands!! These are great for the price and fit my extra large RP-600M klipsch bookshelves perfect. Comes with rubber cups to put the spikes in if you didnt want the spikes on a flat surface. Very easy to assemble. These would be good for larger sized speakers of any sort and smaller as well. Its tough to find relatively decent priced stands. These worked great for me and look awesome. Speaker wire goes through one of the back tubes to hide it. Ill buy these again if im ever looking for more. 5Full of rust, other issues (Replacement update) Tubes were full of rust for some reason, which got all over the place. Then the hole cutouts at the top of the tubes were partially blocking inside of the tube so you couldn't fish speaker wire through. The weight at the base doesn't have a notch out for speaker wire, so if you are able to run speaker wire through them, it won't sit level on a hard floor because it's on top of the wire. Top bracket is cheap plastic. Doesn't come with M6x1.00 screws that Monoprice's OWN surround sound system uses, so you have to go buy some from a hardware store. Against my better judgement, I'm getting them replaced hoping that I just received a bad one. For the price I'm willing to overlook some of those issues, but not when it's rusty and unfishable. I've ordered a lot of Monoprice things over the years and have never had quality issues until this.*Replacement update*Second set had the same rust issues, so sent it back as well and went for a Sanus set that was a little more. That one has a much bigger base, but other than that am happy with it. 1The top plate is large and sturdy - compared to many other speaker stands and the ... This product is above average, well designed and an exceptional value. After reviewing, using and returning a couple of other stands this fits my Elac UB5 bookshelf speakers perfectly. The top plate is large and sturdy - compared to many other speaker stands and the floor spikes are well engineered for carpet and are distributed to the edge of all four corners for added stability. Some manufacturers place the spikes about an inch away (inward) from the corner edges which can cause some instability on carpet. 5I had purchased a set from Best Buy for $49 These were purchased to support the remote speakers of my surround sound system. I had purchased a set from Best Buy for $49, but they were much too difficult to assemble, so I took them back. These assembled quickly, requiring only a Phillips screwdriver and a needle nosed plier. As different speakers are equipped with different mounting mechanisms, this set came with a variety of hardware for several mounting options. Directions for assembly and for choosing the correct speaker mount were clear and illustrated with drawings. Parts were clearly labelled and identified. These stands are solid metal and are sturdily weighted at the bottom which provides the stability to hold a five pound speaker at the top. A feature not advertised but that I was delighted to find was that the speaker wire feeds up into the tube from the bottom and comes out at the top, so that there are no gangly wires hanging from the speaker. They are very easy to move, so they can be placed for optimal sound when in use, then tucked into a corner or behind a chair when not in use. However, mine stay in permanent view several feet either side of my television, because the styling is chic and they don't at all detract from the appearance of the room. And the price? I don't think you can do better. I highly recommend this product. 5Not suitable for Vizio S4251w-B4 5.1 soundbar rear speakers I bought these because Amazon showed these as "frequently bought together" with my Vizio S4251w-B4 5.1 soundbar, which comes with rear speakers that are wired to a wireless subwoofer. If these really are often purchased for these speakers, then I can only assume tthat they are often returned.First off, the speakers cannot be mounted upright due to the nature of the mounting bracket. Yes you can turn them upside down but it looks completely silly (they don't match the look/design of the soundbar that way) and it makes the speakers more top heavy, which increases the wobbling of these already wobbly stands. Even worse, the narrowness of the stand tube doesn't allow for the wide ends of the speaker cables to thread through, defeating a major purpose of the stands - concealment of speaker wire. If you have absolutely zero care for how they will look then these will do the trick, but if that's the case then you might as well just place the speakers on end tables or some other surface because it's painfully obvious to anyone who sees them that they were not made for these speakers once set up.I gave three stars because the price is right and they seem like they would probably be fine for some other speakers with thinner wire outputs and/or different wire input locations, and to be fair Monoprice does not expressly claim to be ideal for these speakers (I guess it's my fault for assuming that this issue would have been raised more by other customers who bought these stands for these speakers). But for future customers, you've been warned: if you're looking for stands for this soundbar and speakers, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. 3
