So great and so handy!! These are some of the most handy little things to use when building a PC. They are so cheap and so very worth it. I build multiple PCS and I got about 50 of these and I only use maybe 10 in a computer at most. So having so many is great for me and my little business hobby thing that I do from time to time. And they're also great for just other things around the house like holding phone cables together and other cables around the house. I absolutely love these and the velcro on them is phenomenal. It's not like regular velcro where it's got large scratchy plastic Hooks and really fluffy side comma but instead it's a very clean and simple yet efficient Velcro. Absolutely love them and I highly recommend them! 5So Much Better Than Plastic Ties I can't believe how convenient these ties have made things for me in my home office. I heavy duty stapled them into place along the top of my baseboards and around a closet frame, then set my cables and/or cable tube on and, presto, everything is off the floor and snugly managed. No more pets trying to chew on messy, loose cables, no more worrying that anyone is gonna trip over anything. I moved a lamp to the other side of the room, unlooped the ties, set in the wire, re-looped and everything looks neat and organized. No more having to cut apart ties or mess with those damned u-shaped cable stays. The ties were wider than I had pictured, so I did unstaple and re-staple a few after realizing that (depending on how I looped them) I could avoid having the logo showing. I don't mind telling folks who made them or were I got them, but they look much neater without the logo all over the place. 5Does the job, but thicker than expected. Much thicker than I expected and the top part is wider. I suppose it depends on what you plan to use them for - if you are tying together 3-4 thick cables behind a desk for example, this would work great. I like to buy these to put on unused cables so I can wrap them up and store them without getting tangled. The length is too small for doing this with big cords (like a computer power cable), but for smaller cords (like USB cables), they are too thick and wide at the loop end, plus the hook side is very rough to really be something you are happy having on the cord all the time while you are using it, especially if you are brushing up against it frequently. Much too big for the earbud cords, for example. 3Great cable ties for lan cables These are great for any kind of cable management using fewer than about 18ish cat5e cables. They stay in place for set it and forget it scenarios. And when you realize that your set it and forget it plan was a pipe dream, they unwrap just as easily for another use. All of the holes are punched cleanly but the leftover ... I dunno... donut hole? ... whatever, the cut portion is still there because velcro. They get everywhere and stick to your clothes. Like the back of your shirt when you lay down to grab that cable you were sure was long enough 5 years ago, but now resides firmly under the tiles under a 42u rack. Be prepared for regular inspections of yourself so you don't walk out of the Datacenter looking like an unkempt moron. Otherwise, top notch product. 5Top Quality & Strong - A Little Short In Length I have a guitar rig and PA system to "wind up" when moving about and these were bought to help keep cables in order.5-7/8" inches length1/2" inch widthThey are top quality, strong fastening, and have a removable center so you can loop them around the cable so it will always "be there" ready to secure it.The only problem I have is that when using regular 15-25 ft cables, there is BARELY enough Velcro strap to make it around and secure it. Most times I have to use them without them being attached to the cable, but even then it still needs to be about an inch or two longer to get a good grip with the Velcro. After you loop these around a regular cable, there is only about 3 1/2" inches leftFor any use where they are long enough, these are great. 4Keeps it together easy peasy -- I utilize the hole to thread the tail through when wrapping around my cords... works well. Although when binding something in a hurry I bypass the hole and just wrap around.Years ago, I originally found a similar item in a dollar store -- no holes and it was a 5 or 6 pack for a buck (16-20 each)... these were $12.18 when I got them (24 each) more expensive than the dollar store, but not really since they no longer carry them and the other stores have 6-10 packs for about $12-15.So far so good with them. 5This product saved my life! Back when I was setting up my studio I didn't pay attention to cables since I didn't have to much gear. However slowly but surely I started adding more equipment and my studio looked like a horror show!I honestly haven't heard of this product but it was getting good reviews and I was looking for a cable management solution so I decided to go for it. And I must say I am addicted to this product. These loops don't have the usual velcro texture to them and at first I was sceptical about their binding integrity. Boy was I wrong!I tie together 15-25 cables (depending on their width) no problem!! This thing won't loose grip (even if you want to).I did order these in small and large sizes,so if you need to fit more cables together you might want to check our the larger ones. They are so durable and so thin compared to their strength that these are easily my first choice when it comes to cable management.I use them for my professional recording studio, organising my cables in my backpack and even tiding up the cables in my living room.Hoever, it can be a little difficult untying then since the velcro is so durable, it can be a little annoying when trying to unhook these sometimes. I think its a fair trade for when you're getting.Would definitely buy more as soon as I run out. 5These are great, do just what you expect These are great, do just what you expect. The hole in one end lets you wrap the velcro around the cable, so it is always attached where you need it. Thin enough that the velcro is not too bulky, but grabs well enough to hold the excess cable.I even took one for my printer CAT-5 cable, attached it, and then placed the other end of the velcro (that would attach to itself) under the printer -- the weight of the printer holds the CAT-5 up some, so it doesn't hang and pull on the plug at the printer itself. If you don't have extras of these around the house but you have electronics with cords (and, who doesn't?), you need something like this. 5I love these! These Velcro cable ties are high quality at an affordable price.I recently had to take apart all the cables hooking my desktop computer to a number of peripherals to figure out what was causing my desktop to refuse to recognize one of my external hard drives. I had a really difficult time doing this because the family member who had so kindly agreed to set up my computer system last year had, unfortunately, created a nightmare tangle of cables. I decided to restore some order amidst the chaos by carefully clipping together my cables with Velcro ties when I reattached my peripherals. In order to do that, I searched here on Amazon for black cable ties to match my black cables. I was delighted to find this set of 50 six-inch, black ties with a "hook and loop" fastening. Basically, you insert the end of the tie through a loop, much as you do for a watch band, and then wrap the tie's band around the cables, with Velcro holding the final result in place. These ties are strong and, in their way, attractive. They are wide enough to hold together my thickest cables looped together to a degree of 5-6 thicknesses. They are comfortable to handle, they do not shed lint, they are very easy to wrap and bind together, and their hold is quite strong.Highly recommended. 5Ok for light usage, bad for heavy extension cords These are ok for the price depending on usage. I bought these 13" monoprice ties because I have always had great luck with monoprice products and I needed something 12" or longer. For this length there really aren't many options from what I've found. As far as performance goes they are not that great, the hooks and loops aren't very aggressive. These are fine for lighter cables that are only going to be untied occasionally, but not for large heavy cables that are untied frequently. I bought these to use with a 50' foot extension cord that gets wrapped and unwrapped 6+ times a day. Within the first week of use I already notice the decrease in hook and loop performance, and within a month or two they are pretty much worthless.TLDR: If you want these to wrap up some cat5 or other light cable that wont be wrapped and unwrapped frequently these are great. If you are looking to wrap heavy cable that's unwrapped on a daily basis look elsewhere. 2
