Customer Reviews

Another Great Cable from Monoprice, Excellent Quality at an Unbeatable Price I purchased a set of these cables to connect my subwoofers to my receiver. These cables worked great for me, they were exactly what I needed. Some had voiced concerns of the RCA ends either being too tight or too lose, but mine fit perfect, nice and solid. Given the gauge and extra shielding on these cables, they are not especially flexible, so if you intend to make any tight turns or need more clearance in the rear of the receiver or subwoofer I would recommend a thinner cable or L-shaped adapter. 5LED tv to analog surround sound I was able to use this cable in combination with a digital to analog converter to connect my 55in LED TV audio out, to my 13yr old+ Panasonic 5dvd changer 5ch surround sound system. Aside from not wanting to drop $600 for a comparable new system I feel that my older system has richer highs and lower more powerful bass, this was a perfect bridge to keep my legacy system pumping and keep some $$ in my pocket. 5Does what it's supposed to do for great price! Always love MonoPrice for PRICE and quality. Great product with no complaints. 5Works well. No issues. Came within a week ... Works well. No issues. Came within a week, saved lots o' money. Had it for 6 months, ran it under the house to sub woofer behind couch for more bass effect on a 5.1 surround system for new tv we mounted. Save yourself some money and be proud of your purchase! I'm very near positive that this cable is 90-99% the same as any $200 cable you could buy. I'm not an audio guru anymore though and gave up on expensive cabling so perhaps I'm wrong if you're an audiophile and have crazy $2000-$20,000 stereos. It's connected and works and I'm quite confident the other expensive cables are for show. 5Works for me. My cats pulled down my soundbar and ripped the original cord out. This works great as a replacement 5Inexpensive, solidly built, quick delivery; what else could anywone want? Who needs expensive cables? They're one of the biggest ripoffs in the world. Amazon is the place to go for reasonable prices and variety in cabling. This Monoprice cable is reasonably inexpensive, seems solidly built, functions just as it should (good, clear sound), and was delivered quickly. Packaging was minimal and effortless to open. What else could anyone ask for? 5Good Quality Cable for the Price Overall, this cable is of relatively good quality for the price paid. Works perfectly for digital coax SPDIF connections. Cable is indeed 75 ohm RG-59U. Thickness is 20AWG and is flexible. Keep in mind that this cable is coaxial, so it cannot be (or should not be) bent in tight loops or folds. That being said, cable is good but the connectors could use some improvement, hence four stars. The collar is quite thin and fits somewhat loosely on my device's RCA jacks. Squeezing/deforming the collar helps a little, but being as thin as it is, one shouldn't overdo it. This may be a problem for some higher-end analog connections, but for digital it will probably be fine. I also bought the 12-foot version of this cable, so you'll find the same review for that product from the same seller. 4No optical? no problem!! I got this because the tv I purchased didn't have a optical cable port. I was disappointed for about two months till I googled around for a solution. This cable works great and it is the perfect 5Don't Over-Think It. If you are in the market for a long run sub cable, you can't go wrong with this one. Actually, it's a no-brainer! I have never been a fan of the Monster brand. Sure, they work fine, but certainly not more than 4x's better than this one, as a cost comparison between them would suggest.I needed a long run to get from my entertainment center to my sub across the room via a winding path through my basement.Pros:-The quality of the cable itself is good and sturdy and it "pulled" with no trouble at all. I wasn't afraid of it getting snagged and breaking as I was running it.-The connectors are also very stout.-Sound quality is great. I can't detect any signal loss at all.Cons:-Can't think of one. This cable fit my needs perfectly.Do yourself a favor and save a ton of money by getting this cable.By the way, shipping was lightning fast. I ordered it on a Sunday afternoon and it was sitting on my doorstep the very next Tuesday with standard shipping. 5Needed a Good Coax Cable and This Did the Job Inexpensive but more than does the job!I have a HTPC with an M-Audio Audiophile Delta 24/96 soundcard and an ASUS P6T Deluxe running Windows 8.1 using the M-Audio Windows 7 64 bit drivers as well as the ASUS Windows 7 Soundmax drivers..I want the flexibility of using either sound option to play my movie collection on my home theater system. This device allows me to do this after getting a coaxial to optical cable converter. It sounds great though there are more cables in my rack than I care for. 5
