    Highly Recommended - Excellent Fit and Finish Towel bar...what could you say about it? Well, it is excellent in fit and finish, sturdy, easy to install. I have purchased a few of these in different sizes to mount to wood doors as well as sheetrock walls.Installation is quick and simple, comes with all hardware necessary. I was replacing older towel bars in a recent remodel, using the previous mounting holes - in this case you may need to use a different wall anchor type or size as the previous hole from the other replaced one may be a bit large and not hold the mounting hardware snug.I would recommend, and would purchase again. 5Good looks at a Great price! Great price on these towel bars by Moen! I purchased an 18" and a 24". After installing them I discovered that the round bar rolls, causing towels to fall off easily. I filled the round part that each end of the bar fits into with Plumber's Putty to stop it from rolling. 4Great product for the price This item is well made. I bought three of these to install in a bathroom remodel. This was a small bathroom so I had to trim them to different sizes. You can trim them best with a small, inexpensive copper pipe cutter. Just mark the spot and start with a slight pressure. Tighten it slowly and spin it around a couple of times. Repeat this several times. Don't tighten too much at once as you will bend the bar. You can use the template provided by them when you do this by folding a crease in the center and then taping it. Cut the bar to the dotted lines in the center of bracket locations. Don't use the wall anchors provided because if you're like me, you'll rip them out of the wall. I use the screw in wall anchors -- either plastic or metal -- and they will never come out. 5Love the finish. (UPDATE: 3 years later) Sturdy and nice looking.UPDATE: It's been about three and a half years and our towel rack is still holding strong to our family of four. The finish has not worn off and it's just as sturdy as the day we installed. Last year I slipped and on the way down grabbed the bar, the whole thing came down with me, however the bar was not bent and the hardware was not compromised. It seperated from the part that was anchored into the wall. I definitely do not expect a towel rack to withstand 140 something pounds hanging on it, so I definitely wouldn't deduct any stars. It actually makes me impressed because in two seconds my husband simply attached it to the main hardware that was still secured to the wall. 5BE AWARE OF TOTAL LENGTH!!!! BE VERY AWARE! I bought this for a 19.5 inch space. It measures in TOTAL about 20.5 inches wide. So worthless for where I want it! I will use it somewhere else...I give it five stars because it is great and it works great and looks great. But there is no where on the box or product description that I saw the total overall length! That needs to be prominent! 5Looks great! A little noisy Superb, affordable price.Matte Pewter looks classy and quality.The bar is very light, unfortunately, and slides around when a towel is slid off of it. It makes a metal-on-metal noise. I could probably put some glue on the ends to stop it from rolling, but I shouldn't have to do that! 4Nice towel rod This towel bar looks great and was easy to install for this beginner DIY'er following their YouTube instructional video. It feels well made. It advertises itself as being smudge resistant, which I'm finding to be true compared to, say, my stainless steel fridge. All of the necessary hardware to install is included. On one of the mounting brackets, I screwed the screw holes too big so the screws didn't support it. However, there was another hole in the middle of the bracket that I could screw into. It was nice that the design allowed for a "second chance." The screws at the bottom of the bracket require a very tiny flat head screwdriver to install. I wish they had included that, as most people won't have a small enough screwdriver. I have replaced my own computer parts before so I have a computer repair screwdriver set, otherwise I would have been screwed (pun intended). 5Quality product for the money Happy with this product. Perhaps a tiny bit lightweight metal but for the money, a great deal. I installed myself and the included wall drilling template, wallboard anchors, screws and mounts all worked perfectly, The installation manual was clearly written and easy to follow. Packaging was professional. I think a quality product. I bought two of these (18" and 24") and they were both consistent. 4After actual comparison to others in this price range, ... After actual comparison to others in this price range, 18" and 24", this is the one we picked. The round bar that holds the towels is 3/4" in diameter while most of the others in this price range are only 1/2" in diameter. This one looks much more substantial and stylish. It just has more perceived value and quality. 5Sturdy and nice looking We bought this bar for an alternative use. We purchased it as a bar to put hangers on in the laundry room. I wasn't sure it would work since the bar would have to be hung from underneath a cabinet. I am pleased to announce with very little effort, I was able to hang the bar in order to put hangers on the bar. I knew I would have to add a small board under the bottom of the cabinet so the screws wouldn't poke threw, so I predrilled, lined up and started screwing the hardware into place and made sure the covers and bars would be in the appropriate place when screwed in completely to the bottom of the cabinet. Next, I took the board that was preset up and screwed the board and hardware into the cabinet bottom, attached the left cover and tightened securely, I attached the bar and right side cover and tightened the right towel bar cover and checked the security. Super pleased at the stability and strength. It is perfect for our hangers. 5
