Almost there I've searched high and low for a well made, do-it-all charging station that can keep my android watch, iPad Pro 12.9", LG V10 smartphone and miscellaneous eReaders or tablets all in one area neatly. I've nearly found the perfect system with MobileVision's Slim Bamboo Charging Station.Pros:Elegant, simple.Made from Bamboo.Comes with dock for Apple Watch (or with some modification, my Huawei Android Wear Watch).Top half securely held in place to the "base" with strong neodymium magnets.Can support tablets or netbooks up to 13".Lots of top shelving space for devices.Cons:This version with the extra long "dividers" only available with the "slim" (short) base.Won't fit many USB chargers inside the base, and definitely won't fit any Bluetooth speakers.Doesn't come in dark (cherry)wood like some other MobileVision stations do.Quality control could do with checking the mounting for all the dividers... first one I ordered, one divider came loose. Held in with small screws and a little bit of wood glue.Apple Watch dock doesn't "click" or lock into place... slides around.Overall this station is much nicer than many comparable ones, including another brand station I purchased that was definitely more solid and heavy, but did not meet my requirements for modifying the Apple Watch dock in order to fit my Android watch charger base (I used a circular saw drill to "cut out" a bigger hole for my Android watch charging base). It's nice that it can fit a lot of devices and can definitely handle the weight of a large iPad or small laptop, but there are no feet on the bottom, so the bamboo base slides around unless you get some rubber feet like I had to. Especially since this is going on my expensive wood nightstand, don't want it scratching the surface.MobileVision should include some feet with this and most of their charging station products, and I feel it could be slightly better if they also make the watch dock snap into place somehow. Also would be nice if they started carrying these in dark wood colors, and would be nice to sell the top and bottom halves separate so customers can "mix and match". I really wanted to have this top, long divider part with their deep, "bluetooth speaker" friendly sized base, but I can't do that unless I buy both stations and return different pieces. 4Nearly perfect! This device organizer was almost exactly what I was looking for! With a few of my own modifications it's just right.First you should note that I had already purchased an Anker multi device charger that I love but hated how it looked on my counter (see pic) so I bought this hoping it would fit inside and hide all the ugly cables.It arrived on time and was packaged well. I was delighted to find that my USB multi charger fit just fine with lots of room to spare! The only thing I wish it came with was a method of keeping the cables meant for phones that stick out the top front 3 slots in place so you don't have to fish around in there with your fingers to pull them out or take the lid off entirely. That was a very easy fix! I anticipated the problem when I bought it and purchased a pack of these sticky cable holders at Walmart for $3 and had them ready when this item arrived. They're perfect! I stuck them on the inside of the box and they keep the cables in the perfect spot.The box looks really nice and is pretty well made. I love the magnets that hold the lid in place. They're the perfect strength! So far I have put my iPhone 6, my sons 4S, my Anker power bank, my Bluetooth headphones, my iPad Air 2 and my sons iPad 3 (in a huge foam case that wouldn't fit in other similar products) all on here and charging at once and it looks amazing! This used to take up 3 square feet of counter top space and looked awful! Now it looks chic and organized, not a cable in sight! See my pictures, but note that this does not come with the charger unit or the sticky cable holders.All in all I'm thrilled! My only wish was that it came with a better way to keep those 3 front cables accessible without me having to modify it. I highly recommend this organizer/dock!And for the record, I did NOT receive this product free or at a discount. I paid full price for it and am writing this review just to help other people who pay full price for stuff too! 4Great fit and finish, perfect solution to device clutter After watching phones and ipads slide around on my counter, I thought "There must be some kind of way to organize these." And there is, and it's cheap, and it looks nice, and it works great. I simply slid the cables from my Anker 4-port charger through the rear hole and up the 3 front slots. I am so glad I ordered this. It's perfect and my kitchen island is so much more organized. I hated trying to find places to charge all my devices. It holds my work laptop, personal phone, workphone, fitbit, and my kids Fire tablet with the thick case on it. I ran the fitbit charger cord through one of the front holes. There is room for more as well. I have nothing on one of the slots. It hides the laptop cord and all the charging cords. I ordered some colored short cords and it is so perfect for my needs. The magnets are strong. My only qualm is the very back divider is very slightly wobbly so I was wary of leaning my laptop against the back. I just lean it forward and it isn't really an issue. I am glad I got it with the usb 5 port charger. It could easily fit one of the 10 slot ones instead. 5Device Organization I had a wood table filled with chargers and devices, looking constantly cluttered. This item helps me keep it all organized and looks so much neater. The wood color comes very close to matching my cherry table. Love technology and devices, but most stands look too modern for my decor. This keeps me updated, without the space age look. This is the stand only. You have to purchase a power strip separately and place it inside. You can either use your own USB cords or purchase shorter ones, to keep control of the exposed cord lengths. If you have more than one Apple Watch, I suggest buying the extra watch part (to hold the watch charger), that will fit perfectly on the other side. 5A great tool (with a couple flaws) to organize the electronic mess On my kitchen counter by the outlet I use for charging, I had a big mess of cords, cables, and devices. I bought the MobileVision Bamboo charging station in hopes of taming the chaos. Here's my experience.PROS:1) It definitely offers an improvement in organization for the USB hub, cords, and devices.2) The bottom part of the station is perfect for holding a multi-port USB hub. (I use QICENT USB Hub 3.0 Powered 7 Super Speed USB 3.0 Ports and 30W 12V 2.5A AC Powered Adapter Best Universal for Mac, Macbook, Macbook pro, PC, Computer - Black and like it a lot.) The opening in the back allows the cord to exit and plug in. The USB charging cords come through openings on the side.3) The multiple slots on top give space for tablets and phones. Nicely assembled. Organized.CONS:1) When I move it, the station falls apart easily. It's nice that the top organizing slots aren't tightly jammed onto the bottom. But it would be nice if there were some locking mechanism that kept it in place so it didn't detach so easily.2) The extension for holding a smart watch (for me it's a Garmin Forerunner 920XT GPS Watch Black / Grey - Standard Version) is a good idea, badly executed. It falls off if I look at it.So far, this is the best charging station I've found, and it is a big plus compared to having everything in a jumble. But when this company or one of its competitors comes up with one that is engineered with the idea that the parts should have a mechanism that holds it together, and also lets the user easily disassemble it--I'll be all over it. 4Great for Nightstand Organization I love this thing. We recently got a Sleep Number bed, so adding 2 remotes to my already crowded night stand was driving me nuts. The remotes wold end up being too far to reach (short arms) or I'd end up setting my phone to tablet down on one of them, causing it to fall to the floor.I keep my ipad in the back slot, on its side. Then one of the bed remotes lays in the middle slot, then my phone lays on its side in the front along with the other bed remote. This also solved the other issue I was having: short charging cables. I still can't figure out why Apple thinks a 3-ft cord is long enough. Sure, it will reach from the floor to the top of a night stand. But barely reaches when you're laying in bed trying to use your device while it's plugged in. So this allows you to start your cord right there on top of the night stand. Then the cord can be tucked into the charging station or can be left to hang outside, which is what I do. I let my cords hang down for easy access, and preventing them from getting tangled while inside the box.The top is held in place by magnets. This is what keeps the top from coming off when you only have something leaning at the back (like a tablet or small laptop).The only thing I don't like about it is that the charger causes my phone to act a little wonky when it's plugged in. Once it reaches 100% and anything comes on the screen like a text msg, alarm going off, facebook notification, etc it will cause the phone to continuously bleep, as if it had been unplugged and re-plugged in. It won't quit until I pull the charger out of the phone. That never happened until using this charging station. Not a huge deal though. Many times, I wake up in the middle of the night. So I just check my phone to make sure it's charged and go ahead and unplug it. Then at least I don't have to worry about dealing with that while my alarm is going off!**Edit: Previously I'd posted that the bleep was the "charging complete" notification. It's actually the "phone is plugged in" sound that it makes.**Edit #2: Kudos to the seller for contacting me about my review, asking what phone model I'm using so they can research the issue. 4Are the same damaged units shipped back and forth to customers like fruitcake? I was hoping we'd get lucky and the charging station wouldn't arrive broken or chipped, but when it got here, not only was one of the magnets missing and the wood cracked where the magnet used to be, but the whole front panel of station had come off, exposing some flimsy-yet-sharp-looking staples. There was a sticker on the thing asking you to call a number if you ran into any problems because the manufacturer was devoted to your satisfaction, etc., but the station was so broken that I just put it right back in the box and sent it back. 1Finally! Perfect Docking Station For Me! Be sure to order the one foot charging cables to have plenty of room! This is PERFECT for me and my husband! I was hesitant to order it after reading a couple of the more critical reviews because I am very picky and pretty hard to please. I decided to take the plunge since Amazon is great with it's return policy. I didn't tell my husband because he is a tightwad and even harder to please than I am. I figured if this was a dud, I could return it without him ever being the wiser.I bought this with the power supply option offered with it. It works fine but in retrospect I might have preferred to have the Sabrent 60 for the extra cable slots and a different external cord for a little longer power supply cord. That is, however, a very minor quibble. I bought these great little 1 foot cables - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KGXJ8UO - to use internally to connect to the devices. They sit inside the box perfectly - none of the tangles others complained about - and yet they come out far enough to connect quite well to my husband's and my iPhones and iPads.I find this organizer to be very well built and quite elegant looking. We now have one central place where all of our devices are charging. If we don't have the devices with us, we know where they are. They don't look sloppy. There are always enough "chargers" and "outlets." This beautiful box is sturdy and has the timeless minimalistic beauty that fits in perfectly with our modern/mid-century modern decor. I usually keep my 13 inch Macbook Air charging on the table beside my chair out of habit, but on those occasions I have put it on the docking station, it accommodates it just fine, too. OCT 28 2015 - UPDATE AFTER 11 MONTHS OF USE I have been using this daily for like the last 11 months or so to juice up my phones, tablets and bluetooth headsets, and it s still holding up without any issues - No damages, No broken wooden pieces, No loose joints and more importantly, the magnets are still doing a great job holding the two compartments together, which is important to note as it s the most crucial component of the unit, if you ask me. Great product, and built to last, from my experience with it so far. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW I ve used many charging stations before, from Amazon itself - but this is the best I ve come across so far.Checkout the snaps wherein you could see that I have squeezed in two iPads, two Phones, 1 Macbook and a pebble steel smart watch. This thing holds its balance perfectly despite of the load, and I believe that s because its designed cleverly with a high center of gravity. The best thing I love about this charging station is the strong magnet that holds the upper and lower compartments strongly bonded together - if this hadn t worked so well, I wouldn t have give it all the five stars. As you can see from the images, I have used the 10 Port USB charger from Sabrent (ASIN: B00OJ79UK6) in the lower compartment to power my devices and this combination has worked wonderfully so far, as the charging station has more than enough room to hold the USB charger and of course, to manage the cables as well. I m sure that it will hold the other smaller USB chargers you will find on Amazon quite effortlessly with plenty of space to spare.Definitely happy with the product, and hopefully it will hold its place permanently for years to come on my nightstand. 5Should've bought the USB dock that was recommended.
