No noticeable change in sound quality compared to other expensive & cheaper cables I have been using in the past. For the price, these are pretty good quality cables & I see no reason to spend on ridiculously premium cables that cost an arm and a leg but provide zero difference in sound quality that the ear can perceive.Every one has an opinion and everyone's experience is different. My ears are not superman ears to notice subtle differences in sound. And I won't argue with expensive so called high-end cable vendors. Perhaps their premium cables provide better or marginal improvement in sound quality that can be measured by expensive monitors and testing devices costing thousands of dollars. As for me I use my ears to listen to music not testing devices in a laboratory. And for me these cables are as good as gold.4Looks great, but not durable for mobile use Used this cable several times a week to connect a DJ Mixer to a club sound system. Always very careful with it and properly rolled up to the natural coil of the wire when packing my gear. I ordered twice. The 1st one I had for 2 months, and the metal head came off the cable because it gripped too tight. I repurchased, and the 2nd one developed a short within 2 months. I'll assume if this was used in a home or car, or any other fixed environment it would be fine. I really wanted to like them because the single wire design. But for anyone using it for mobile applications it is not durable enough to withstand daily use.3Excellence with a CaveatI have mixed emotions about these cables. First of all, they are incredibly well-made for the price. I have four of these plus several other Mediabridge cables. The quality is exceptional which is why I buy so many.However... ya gotta watch the tightness of the RCA connectors. They are incredibly snug. This is a good thing if you plug 'em and leave 'em. You can bet they won't make their way free. But, if you use them for, say, DJ work, and you plug/unplug often they are just too tight. I tried to work them off the back of a powered speaker and ended up tearing the metal shielding off one of the RCA jacks. Luckily the speaker had both XLR and mini inputs, too, so I rummaged around my cable kit and found a work-around.Now I try not to connect the cables directly to the device on either end but use a makeshift patch cord and connect the Mediabridge cables to those.Bottom line: Excellent quality (worth 5 stars) but too snug for its own good.4Exactly what I needed Needed some patch cables to connect a digital DJ controller (Denon DJ MC2000 | DJ Controller with Serato Intro) outputting to a mixer (Numark M6 USB | Professional Four-Channel USB DJ Mixer with 3-band EQ & LED Metering per Channel), when DJing a friend's party outdoors. The cable fit snug and secure, everything sounded great. Good price for reliable equipment, I've never had an issue with Mediabridge cables. 5switch your free rca cables to these.I got these in good time - I was looking for new rca cables to replace the ones that came free with my audio technica upon opening the box the cable itself is very flexible. It s weird it s kinda gooey but not slimy or sticky. It s weird.I couldn t find one with a ground wire so I picked up the mediabridge rca cables 6 foot set and continued to use the ground wire from the cheap rca cables included in the AT turntable.I installed them on the day I received them but didn t have a chance to give it a go listen. On installation the free cables i noticed didn t fit well. When I pulled them out they came off easily. I put the new mediabridge rca cables in and they fit very snuggly. Much better than the cables provided by Audio Technica.I think my records are coming in louder and tighter. I didn t a/b listen to it but overall I m happeir with the way the sound is coming from my lp120.Unless your turntable comes with a quality (quality meaning good material and well manufactured and not the snake oil cables) I would suggest switching to these - quality built cables.Update: these rca cables made a real difference in my audio setup esp replacing the cables that came free with my lp120xusb!5Worked for 3 months, now loses signal on left side Nice cable but hampered by very tight fittings (they take lots of negotiating with my Pioneer DDJ unit) that will assuredly make my outlets get loose over time. Not that I will see that happen as the white plug has started to have major signal problems... It takes an unreasonable amount of finagling to actually get a signal and it goes it without warning. The real frustration though is that I discovered this problem while DJing live! The company doesn't cover shipping costs to analyze the cable, either (which at $12 is hardly worth wasting the time to drive to the post office to send out, let alone the cost of shipping BOTH ways since they don't cover shipping costs either direction). I feel like a good company would just send a replacement as a token of good will, perhaps including a return label for the bad cable.Regardless, this gets 2 stars since it worked for a while and *appears* to have good quality materials... But that doesn't change the fact that it failed! 2GREAT product, highly recommendedI just got this so I can't comment on longevity, but I'm very very happy with this product so want to leave a review anyway because the build on this is phenomenal. Everything about this cable seemed to have been designed with function in mind, rather than form. There's no unnecessary weighty metal piece at the plugs, just a solid thick high quality plastic. The wire is very flexible, the jacket feels nice and dense, like it's built to protect. The y design is great, keeps it to one wire which makes a diff when it's running behind your sound system with a bunch of other wires. The part that actually plugs in is a little stiff, gotta struggle a bit to take on and off. Not sure, I'm hoping this loosens up a bit, I don't need any accidental pull to end up dropping my amp. However, I'm so happy with every other aspect of this wire I'm a still give it 5 stars5Pretty much perfect. Nice and compact.I picked up this cable for use with my new subwoofer. The connections to the receiver and sub are nice and snug without requiring me to force the connectors on. I've encountered no interference or crosstalk issues. The cable is nice and compact. At either end, there's a Y split, and throughout the length, it's a single wrapped line. The upside is that it's lighter and less bulky, while the downside is that it can't be split apart into two separate cables if that's your aim. But if that's the case, I think you ought to just get separate individual cables rather than a stereo pair. You might think that something as simple as a 1:1 cable connection would be hard to screw up, but I've been surprised by shoddy cables before. This one does not fall into that category.5Great!! Grips very tightly. Update: I bought a 2nd one to use for 2nd zone stereo out from my new Denon AVR-X4400H to a small amp to power speakers on my patio. They work perfectly and grip the RCA pre-outs securely. My first set is still going strong after removing and replacing 2 AV Receivers. I'm on my 3rd AV Receiver installed with these cables. My first Mediabridge cable was their 6 foot Subwoofer cable and I thought the rest of their RCA cables should be great. I was right. These are the best I've ever used! Not expensive and high quality. You don't have to worry about your cables falling off the back of your equipment when you slide your device back onto the TV stand shelf. The cable is flexible an easily routes around your devices and shelves.I use this for my Yamaha 5 disk CD player and my Onkyo TX-NR737 Receiver. Works perfectly! 5Good quality, Great performance, killer looks Definitely the best looking RCA cables, and they perform well. Perfect length for a desk setup. If anything goes wrong I'll report back here. I use mine with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo connected to a set of Kanto YU5 speakers. I've also got matching Mediabridge speaker cables, as you'll see in the photo I posted. 5Solid unit and superb sound!Great cable once again from Mediabridge!! I've been purchasing from them for several years now, and love each and every purchase! Connections stay solid and tight to RCA jacks to avoid movement (they are built like that). ***WARNING*** -- NOT intended for people who want to connect/disconnect their cables frequently. They are designed to be attached and stay that way. This ensures a perfect connection to your equipment.I would highly recommend these cables!5I have a pretty advanced Home Theater system and yes I agree that ...I have a pretty advanced Home Theater system and yes I agree that no one should pay for cables that are extremely expensive such as Audioquest as its almost negligible to even notice a difference. The reason I paid for these RCA cables which I consider premium was due its snug fit which means it has more contact to the port and will not fall off easily either. In addition the cords are very flexible and covered in a high quality gauge material that helps protect against knicks and easy cuts to the wire. The reason this matter to me is that many of my wires are held down with zip ties and sometimes cutting them, you hit the wire so its good this material is there. The flexiblity and wire covers and the premium made my decision to pay a few more dollars than a regular RCA. At the end of the day, its a one time purchase. The only con is that the action plug is actually longer than a RCA, so basically if you plugged a standard RCA and this RCA, you will notice this verion will stick out longer than a regular one. So if you had your TV pressed against the wall very closely, you will have to move it out an inch or so.4w logitech squezzebox c3 music server and i have another surprised with this cables i hear too much information soundstage wide tighter fuller bass mids very neutral and the hights sweet w extension a good and clean detail i say ...I am a high end audiophile since 1996 i try so many cables in diferent high end systems i discover mediabridge cables w extension cables for my superlux hd 668b,phillips shp9500 and left 50hrs break in period and i surprised with the sound i heard in this cheapest cables i use littledot mk2,little bear p8,darkvoice 336se tubes headphones amp w dac SMSL 6th anniversary edition sanskirt and logitech slim devices squeezebox C3 with mac mini and i sit and listen music 12am to 4am the impress we have to listen very very neutral sound w wide soundstage and everything is smooth w extension and body in the bass quick tight, when i listen jazz music i melted in my couch i said that s the sound i nedd to found then i just get an idea, i will try the mediabridge interconector w my headphone gear i installed and put the interconectors in 50hr break in period, last night i sit in my couch i listen music w my headphones with my new adquisition kef M500 i used littledot mk2,dac SMSL, w logitech squezzebox c3 music server and i have another surprised with this cables i hear too much information soundstage wide tighter fuller bass mids very neutral and the hights sweet w extension a good and clean detail i say wow i spend thousands thousands a dollars with cables in my heaphones gear now i kept w this combination of mediabridge cables also i recommended with my friend in arizona and they told me he s very impress with the mediabridge cables they have a kanto YU4 speakers w 10 polk audio subwoofer and project essential carbon sb the beattles edition turntable and all the cables mediabridge because hes a musician and they had a good ear and he s happy with the cables i highly recommended the mediabridge products for a $$ you will never regret.5Not shieldedI am usually very happy with Mediabridge products and have been a loyal customer of their products so far for audio cabling needs. I had bought their entire lineup of cables for subwoofer, stereo and speaker cables for my new setup. Only to find after intense troubleshooting that a significant portion of the hum that I was hearing in my new speakers were being picked up by the Mediabridge RCA stereo cables (6 ft). I found it out after buying Blue Jeans Cable and plugging them in when the buzz went away almost completely!!. Now granted, BJC cables are much more expensive, but I would much better invest in BJC if it helps reduce the interference. I am willing to assume I did not luck out or got a defective one. Making this assumption since another RCA cable that I bought from Amazon (chinese, but well built) also reduced the interference. So it was not like only BJC did the job here although it did much better compared to all my other cables.Otherwise, I like Mediabridge construction. Good material quality, strong connections, very flexible.3OK cable, nothing special, seems to last well Not a high quality cable. It is OK, but it feels cheap. Better than Monoprice, but the Audioquest Tower is better. 6/1/18 - revised review. Although these feel flimsy, they outlast the Audioquest Tower and are still working properly today. The connectors are FAR better quality than the Audioquests. 3
