Customer Reviews

Ok to use with high def and sat I have used the cable for about a week and am quite satisfied with it. I refurb JAPANESE MICRO sets from the 60-70's and specialize in adapting to current Digital use. I use a lot of patch cables. On this project, I was converting a Sinclair 2" TV from 1978 that was found brand new in storage, with a ATSC /mh decoder. This short length cable was just what I needed. The flexibility made it's placement easier. The connectors are superior. ATSC decoders and analog sets do have interference problems which can sometimes be minimized by good cable shielding. The shielding was fine. However, I still had interference from a 5v iPad charger. I believe at this point that the interference actually was affecting the tv at a short 2" of exposed twin lead. I had to use a matching 75to300 ohm adapter. So, when you buy cable, get the best shielded jackets, best connectors you can afford and expect reception problems even with DTV. In fact, digital can be worse since you tend to loose signal capture more easily 5Elegantly Designed Media Cable, Worth the money!! Mediabridge Coaxial Cable (3 Feet) with F-Male Connectors - Dual Shielded - FLEX Series - Digital Audio / Video Cable - White - (Part# CJ03-MWF-N1)I had always wondered if a shorter cable would have an impact on signal quality. I've always seen mixed comments, some say yes others say no, and none of the cable guys could ever give me a definitive answer. Finally, there was definitive information on the use use of shorter cable WITHOUT signal loss!! Which prompted me to search for the shorter Coaxial Cable. Voila, there's "Mediabridge Coaxial Cable". Their cables are so elegant in their design, the cables are not bulky like those you get from the cable companies and far easier to use.I purchased the shorter cable, so far I've not been disappointed. In fact, I believe my signal quality has improved greatly. I know for sure when I have my media system mounted on the wall, I'll make sure the installer uses "Mediabridge's Coaxial Cable".Way to go Mediabridge's Coaxial Cable!!Walter HortonRetired Geek :-) 5Super flexible, work just great for OTA broadcasts For short runs, I highly recommend these. Very easy to work with, seem to be built very well, not that much more expensive than thicker/stiffer cables, and performance was as expected.I'm a big fan of Monoprice, and years ago I bought a bunch of coax cables from them to use with my over-the-air (OTA) set up because they were inexpensive. The one thing that I've never been a fan of with those cables, and other cables, is how stiff they are. Being so stiff, they are harder to get into place, and then they tend to exert force on your equipment because they want to return to their original shape (unless you've taken the time to try and work them into the shape you want, which isn't easy to do if you're just trying to connect things behind an entertainment center). For lighter boxes like my Mediasonic HW-150PVR, there is enough force that the cables can push the boxes around a bit.I've thought about getting more flexible cables for years, and my brother Joe's review of these cables finally inspired me. I'm glad that I got them! These cables are super easy to work with. The thinner cable is very flexible and doesn't cause the cable to put force on equipment. Installing these was so much easier as I routed them through between my equipment because they pretty much just went where I wanted them to and then laid in place if I set them down (as opposed to curling back up and/or whacking against something).I can't tell any difference in performance, as my stations come in like before. For long runs, stiffer cables are usually just fine for me because I don't need to make tight turns behind equipment with them. For connections between components, or between a wall plate and my equipment, these cables are perfect. 5Performance Plus This cable is a fantastic solution when a stiff coax cable is unacceptable. I used it for the connection between the wall outlet and the cable box connected to the TV on my kitchen counter. I was having issues with the cable box so I had our cable provider send out a technician to troubleshoot the problem. The technician was really impressed with the performance of this cable. The problem I was having was a problem with the cable box, not the cable. 5No more concrete coax cables! Wish there was a longer version though. After dealing with coax cables that seem to be molded from concrete, WHAT A DIFFERENCE this cable makes! It's like using a speaker wire. And while coax cables are thick and bulky, this one is super thin. The connectors are well made and very sturdy. My only lament is that I can't find it in any size longer than 3 feet. If I could get a 6-ft or longer version of this, it would be perfect. 4Even better than expected Installed one of these between wall-mounted female F-connector and cable-company-supplied splitter; from splitter another of these each to the telephone modem and another to the cable modem (each path going through 6-feet of these cables and the splitter).Observing signal status page from cable modem (Motorola SURFboard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0) both before and after installation, observed NO difference in reported signal strength. For what it is worth, Internet speed tests were equivalent before and after. These are VERY flexible and seem quite well made. 5Perfect I used three 3 foot cables for the distance I needed to cover, connecting them to each other with F-Type gold plated connectors https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F5JNE9O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and added an F-Type 90 degree connector at each end https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AC7BL7Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . While I believe a single 9-foot cable would be more efficient, I couldn't find one by that company. There is no degradation with this configuration. Everything works fine and I'm able to stop using the standard coaxial that barely bends. 5Flexible and light My cable modem box is so light weight that with normal, stiff coax cables, I can't get it to stay where I want. Normal cables push the box based on the curve of the cable. With this thinner and flexible cable, the excess remains neatly behind the box in whatever position I want it to stay. The cable appears to be made very well. I haven't seen any difference in my cable modem connection. If anything, my connection is better - according to the cable modem control panel, all my power levels and SNRs are within desired limits, and there are no uncorrectable errors. In the past I always noticed quite a few uncorrectable errors. 5I was very pleased with their quality and feel I purchased these to replace the more rigid coaxial cable as installed by my cable provider. Because of their close proximity to the wall, they were much too long to coil. We have a shelf-less entertainment center so hiding all the cables were a challenge. These cables are extremely well built. I was very pleased with their quality and feel. The female connectors threaded easily, and smooth. The ends felt well made and the cable itself is surprisingly flexible. I noticed no difference in picture quality either. Coupled with a 90 degree M/F adapter, these are an excelled way to reduce the bulk of the wiring and clutter. Very pleased with this product and would not hesitate to purchase them again or recommend them to others. 5I have good quality coax which is very stiff running through behind ... I have bought this cable on two separate occasions. The first situation was for my Mohu curve antenna to sit exactly where I wanted to on a TV stand. I have good quality coax which is very stiff running through behind the TV stand and I connected this cable to it and to the antenna. It is extremely flexible there's no signal loss and the antenna stays where it needs to. The second situation is underneath my deck on my downstairs patio. I have a TV against the wall and this flexible cable allows me to position it in a way that doesn't damage the contacts of the television set. This is a great cable and If I ever needed another one I would certainly buy one. 5
