    Perfect. These little babies saved me Perfect. These little babies saved me! I had previously tried stick on felt pads that just fell apart and seemed to attract every hair and fuzz on my floor. These screwed in easily (I didn't even pre-drill a hole) and now my chair glides across my wood floors with no damage and barely any noise. Totally worth it! 5Great item but they do wear down We use these on the bottom of our kitchen/dining room chairs with a tile floor. Makes the chairs slide very easily but do know that they will wear out so check them periodically. Our local home improvement store stopped carrying this brand so now we get them from Amazon. 5Magic Sliders helped me turn a table into a moveable caddy in just minutes! Magic Sliders transformed an oddly-sized, rectangular table into a moveable kitchen caddy when I quickly drilled holes into each of the four legs of an old wooden table I could have easily given away. Instead, I painted the table a bold, peppy red and installed the incredibly easy-to-use Magic Sliders screws (and nails) and suddenly had a table I could move all over the kitchen. To my great surprise, the entire project was done in under ten minutes. The BEST part of Magic Sliders is that the nails fit PERFECTLY into the round discs, allowing for an installation time of mere instants with a drill. The fit of the screw into the disc is delightfully precise. That is not always the case with discs and screws. I have tried to attach wheels (with much more difficulty) before trying this innovative gem. Magic Sliders are the DIY helper that's so simple to use, it will work for those who don't think they can "do it themselves." With just a gentle push of the refurbish, when prepping a meal or dining casually, I can move ingredients and bowls all over the kitchen and tote big bowls of items to the table that would have been too heavy to carry easily with a gentle push of the refurbished tables. An inexpensive and absolutely terrific product. 5NO MORE SCREECHING CHAIR SOUNDS! I added these to my kitchen chairs and now they slide smoothly over the tile instead of making that awful screeching sound. They were EASY to add with a manual screwdriver (electric one was out of juice) and a little elbow greasy. It took only 15 minutes and improved my chairs significantly. So, why only 4 stars? Because they don't come in black and show a little. If they were black, they would practically be invisible. 4These fell apart on my kitchen table chairs in just weeks. Had used these in the past on my kitchen table chairs. At least I thought they were the same we've had for years, but with these new ones in just a few weeks of use we are seeing them desintegrate completely to the point where the white plastic is totally flat and peeling off the rubber to which it attaches. The black rubber under it has split and is ripping apart too. Pretty shabby for a rated weight of over 1000lbs?! The screw is going to make contact with the floor soon and this is just a kitchen table chair being used on a pretty smooth surface! We cant use these and now I'm wondering if these are cheap knock offs and not the same i purchased years back. I want my sliders back! 1Magic Sliders are great! These are amazing. I bought this set to replace some that wore out after about 10 years of use. They are perfect for protecting hardwood and bamboo floors. They make furniture very easy to slide without damage and are absolutely essential in my household for furniture that slides across the floor daily (i.e. kitchen chairs, foot stools in the living room). 5Stay vigilant to avoid the screw scratching your wood floor Overall this is the best item I've found for the dining table chairs on my hardwood floors, and the chairs move beautifully with these. BUT a hard-learned lesson is that the plastic rings can eventually crack and allow the screws to scratch the flooring. By the time I noticed an odd scratching sound when sliding my chair, a number of nasty scratches greeted me when I looked under the chair and discovered a fully exposed screw resulting in metal on wood contact--and the wood lost! Be sure to regularly check them on any chairs that get significant use, and replace them at the first sign of cracking to avoid doing some substantial damage to your wood floor. 4Screw-on floor sliders for the win! I'm using these in a commercial setting on chairs that sit on a hard warehouse floor. We've wasted a lot of money on felt and hard plastic floor sliders. While they all work at first, they all fail because the glue on the sliders eventually wears off, the slider comes off or moves to the side of the chair leg and it just becomes a huge mess.These floor sliders are different because they are screw-on. They aren't going anywhere. Now, I know they are more expensive (much more) than other floor sliders, but if you add up all the money and wasted time on all the previous floor sliders, these are by far the cheapest.Not only do they stay where you put them, but the soft plastic on the bottom is perfect for sliding on floors without leaving a mark. 5The Screws suck!!! The sliders are great!!! The Screws suck!!! The sliders are great but I recommend buying screws with deeper phillips head grooves, especially if you're screwing into wood. The ones that come with the sliders are way too shallow and will frustrate the crap out of you. These sliders are much better than the nail it ones and the felt pads that constantly slide off. Good luck 4Works OK But Doesn't Last Very Long They work well on my textured kitchen ceramic tiles. The only problem is they don't last that long. For me they only last about 1 year, and I hate having to replace them. Next time I'm considering trying the Shepard Hardware brand. 3
