    As advertised We have 1.25 inch square chair legs. We made these work by heating them with a hair dryer, flipping them inside out, and then yanking them up with a needle nose pliers. They look discreet and protects our floor, which was the purpose. 4Better then the "AS seen on TV" variety I have had the variety available in drugstores and hardware stores in the "as seen on TV" section on my chairs for more than a year. Compared to those, the plastic on these is clearer and better looking. They are almost invisible when on. I like them a lot. Measure the legs of your chairs carefully and choose the right size, because the plastic doesn't stretch much if at all. I had to wet the insides to help them slide onto my chairs. 5Love these! I was tired of the stick on ... Love these! I was tired of the stick on ones constantly coming off and leaving adhesive residue on our hardwoods. These work perfect and as an added bonus do not collect pet hair like the stick ons. Well worth the cost! 5No stretch, need perfect size chair legs or unlikely to work Square peg in a round hole does not work. Unlike the advertisements for this. The clear cylinder is more like plastic and does not have good stretch. If the leg is not straight up and down, it will likely be a problem for this product. These were problems for me. I do not recommend.The company however provided excellency service. They contacted me and provided a refund after reading my review. I appreciate that commitment to service. They asked me to update my review which I have done because of the good service. But this review is for the product, not the company and this product is still not usable and I would not recommend you spend money on this. 1Love these. I bought these pads in 2 sizes for my dining room chairs to see which would work better. I couldn't decide between them, so I kept both sizes and decided to test them. I put the bigger set on 2 of the chairs and the smaller set on the 2 others. After several months, both sizes are still working perfectly and protecting my newly refinished hardwood floors from chairs that are used and moved daily. So the verdict is (1) these pads are very forgiving as to size and (2) the pads are very durable and perform as advertised. They stay put. No more crappy, stick-on felt pads that constantly fall off for me. 5Work Great But..... I wasn't sure to give this product five stars or not. The product itself works great, once you get them on. The design is not quite right. It does not take into account the fact that most styles of chair legs flare out and are not straight. What I finally did was warm them up with a hair dryer and slowly started to slip them on while continuing to warm them up. Finally I got them completely on. The first chair took about an hour. The rest went quicker once I got the hang of it. I stuck with it because I was tired of the felt disks coming off all the time. So far it has been worth the effort. I would recommend them if you want to spend some time getting them on. 5Buy these immediately! These are exactly what I needed. They are the perfect size for my kitchen chair legs, which are set at a little bit of an angle (see picture). The little stick-on felt pads I used to use were a joke and would always slide off or get deformed due to the angle and I was forever replacing them. I should have just bought these clear sleeves years ago! They're unobtrusive looking and work perfectly: my wood floor doesn't get scratched anymore and the chairs slide quietly and easily! I did make sure to measure my chair legs first to make sure these would fit since some other reviewers have been unhappy that they didn't fit, however my chair legs were within the size range listed and the sleeves fit great. 5Close to being right. I was really hoping these would be the answer to easy gliding chairs on our wood floors. They are not. The seat glides well if you are NOT sitting in them. They do protect the chair legs from indentations on the wood floor. However, if you sit in the chair with them on the chair legs, you still have to push hard to move the chair to move it. Could they not make one of these exactly like these that have a slick end!!??The size: the 1" size was difficult to put on my 1" chair legs. Took me quite a wile to soften the plastic with my hand to gradually place it all the way on. Much better to buy the 1 1/4" size for 1" chair legs. 4LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! These fit like a charm! My chair legs measure 1 1/8" on the very bottom and tapper to 1 1/4" at the top of the sleeve. The bottom of the legs are cut at an angle and because of that the felt pads I had been using, the ones that stick to the bottom, always slid out from under the point of contact between the floor and chair leg where they were actually needed, making them useless! But these solve those problems and do the job intended perfectly!! Plus they are made right here in the good ol' USA!!! I love them, they look great! And I would buy them again in a heartbeat! 5We call them chair condoms, and I daresay they offer the best protection we've had for our floors yet. We have soft, pine floors. We've tried multiple methods to keep our dining room chairs from dinging up the floor, but nothing was working. The legs of the chair are somewhat angled, so even when we purchased and screwed-in the protective pads into the base of our chair's legs, they'd wear unevenly and scrape the floor. I thought these might look horrible, but they truly are much clearer than they look in the photo. Our chairs glide easily across the floor without damage. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 b/c we've only had them for 2 months, and I am not certain how long they will hold up due to the felt bottoms (Maybe plastic glider tips may be more durable/longer lasting? Don't know.). They aren't cheap, so if I have to purchase them every few months, it could get expensive. 4
