Good product We like Fubbles products. They do a good job of keeping spills in less than coordinated hands to a minimum. They are not leakproof however, and it does seem like the bubbles don't last long despite being in a container designed to maximize bubble solution efficiency. I'm not sure if this is because children can't make anything in particular last, or because much gets lost in refill, caught in grooves, leaks, etc.... What I do know is, when it gets knocked over, it's not a big deal and fewer upsets occur as a result. This makes the product worthwhile, if for no other reason. We like bubbles and we like Fubbles. (I even have a reputation as the bubble lady by our neighbor's daughter, for better or worse.) 4SWEET BABY JEEBUS IT WORKS! I know that, like many parents of toddlers, I find myself saying "yeah right" to a lot of claims that various products make about its abilities. "Leak Proof,"Unbreakable," and "Water Resistant" are just a few things you see printed on things that are quickly leaking, broken or drowned at the clever hands of your average toddler. So when I saw Fubbles saying they made a leak-proof cup of bubbles I shrugged and put my six bucks down for two tumblers, one for each of my toddlers. I filled each one as Indicated and handed them over to adorable eager faces. Two hours later? Not an ounce of bubble solution was slopped on the floor! Both kiddos (2 and 4) were having a BLAST and could easily dip and blow a million bubbles on their own. HALLELUJAH! No more lightheaded mommy! My kids can blow as many bubbles as they want before they pass out. IT. IS. GLORIOUS. 5Reasonably spill proof, great bubble solution, but has some quirks. Reasonably spill resistant. Dribbles a little if a toddler is allowed to shake it too much. It's more likely to leak if overfilled, so don't put too much solution in.The wand is small, as other reviewers have said, but that is totally fine considering the tiny lungs that will be blowing the bubbles.The solution works great. Makes a ton of tiny bubbles that are fun for little ones to chase.The wand did mysteriously bend... We left the container in a temperature controlled building over the weekend and when we came back a few days later, the ring at the end was bent at a nearly 90 degree angle. Very mysterious...but it was easy to bend it back and it hasn't done it again.The wand can also be difficult to remove, as the ring gets caught if you don't pull it out straight. My 20 month old got the hang of it eventually, but it took a little coaching. 4just go buy a bubble machine :P Great idea, not so great execution. I wanted these to be as amazing as they sounded, sadly they have some flaws. The stick gets kinda stuck in so you have to pull pretty hard to get it out and if there is any bubble mix left on the stick when you get it out you get like one bubble. I was hoping this would be a mess free, or close to it, fun activity for my toddler. but since she has to pull so hard to get the stick out when it comes out it just flings bubble mix across the room. For the price of these I was really hoping for better.. I will just get a bubble machine... I only gave it 2 stars because, even though it didn't work well and made a huge mess, my daughter played with it for a quite a long time and really enjoyed pretending like she was blowing bubbles I guess. hahah. she is 2.. most things entertain her.. 2Dissapointed by a great design I got this for my 2 year old and I was excited at first but it dissapointed me. The concept is fantastic my gripe is that the want doesn't come out easily at all, I have to get it out for my toddler and then the times that she can get it in and out she doesn't get any bubble liquid to stay on the wand. Now that the container is half empty I have trouble getting bubble liquid on the wand too. This might be designed for toddlers but execution had to be done by adults. 3Bubble Broken - Spilled I was so happy and excited about this product for my 2 yr old. She looooves bubbles. With this she can take it in the car, to the store, you name it and she's happy blowing a bubble! Then after about 1 week of use she showed me the "bubble broken" she dumped out half the bubbles inside into our tile floor and some on the rug. Greeeeat. I tried to spill them myself and sure enough bubbles started spilling out. I have a video I'd like to attach but have to figure it out. I so so hope something is wrong with the container because for the last week it's been the best thing sincs string cheese to keep her happy while doing errands or traveling. 2They were amazing. The wand just recently broke I had these bubbles that I bought from Walmart may years ago. They were amazing. The wand just recently broke. I was excited to find them on Amazon, but they are not the same. The wand is so small that it is really hard to blow the bubbles. The bubbles themselves were also terrible, but those are easily changed out. I was able to use these for 2 attempts, now the wand somehow became bent inside the jar and is no longer usable. I am so sad. It's true that they keep making wonderful things cheaper and cheaper until they are no longer worth anything at all!12-13-2017 I contacted Little Kids and they said the wand bending happens occasionally, and they would send me a new set. 1Not like the other Fubbles - wand doesn't work, and poor bubble quality I had a small version of Fubbles that worked perfectly and thought I'd order another to have as a backup, without realizing this was actually a gigantic version (my fault, I didn't read the description carefully - but the size isn't the issue). The bubbles just don't work! The wand seems to get a little bit stuck every time I pull it out (unlike the small version), but even if I pull the wand out extremely slowly to ensure some bubble solution comes out with it, it just doesn't make good bubbles! I also poured some of the solution into my small Fubbles container, and the bubble quality was dramatically inferior than the solution that came with the small Fubbles - these bubbles are so weak that I can't even blow big bubbles without them popping. My 20 month old likes popping the big bubbles on her nose, but I can't even make big enough bubbles with this thing! Very disappointing. 2It's great! Until its not. It's great until its not. These things are amazing. My kids LOVE them. They really work... That is until they don't and they start leaking everywhere! We bought 4 and all 4 started to leak about 3 weeks into having them. Really upsetting that it was not a fluke. They work so well to let our kids play with bubbles and not spill. Even with leaking its worth it just for the time they are playing with the bubbles because its better to have a little leaking than a whole bottle spilt but I think some kind of washer/rubber is needed to keep them from spilling. I had to refill the bubbles with each use. 2Love it!!!! My daughter is at the age where she loves bubbles. She wants to hold it and do it all herself but bubbles are so messy and I didn't want to get them everywhere. My friend told me about these bubbles and I love them!!Are they perfect? Of course not. Do they keep 90% of the bubbles inside? Yes!!You unscrew the top portion, pour the bubbles into the base and then you are all set to go! The wand has a small slot that it goes into. Turn it upsidown and nothing comes out! It's brilliant. My 20 month old has knocked it over and tilted it and no spills!Pros: mostly no spills! Easy to refill.Cons: if you happen to tilt it just right it will spill. Like I said it's not perfect but it's MUCH better than the alternative.The wand can be tricky to pull out of the container. It has to be pulled straight out or it gets stuck. If your child bends the wand or twists it, it will have a hard time going in and out.Overall I LOVE this bubble container. I am sold and would suggest it to all my friends! 5
