saves my wooden floors with great low visual solution Many of my table and chair legs are square not round and this "sock" allowed me to quickly cover the tips of both furniture items... including large square ottoman feet. This allows the chairs to slide on my wooden floors without scratching them.... yet, the sock blends nicely with my wooden chair/table legs so it's not very visible that the "socks" are even there. I'd recommend going darker vs lighter if you are between color choices. My second order so that I have enough for all my furniture now. Thanks. 5Doesn t stay on. The Good: PriceThe Bad: doesn t stay in place and slips offI bought another set from a different manufacturer which was more expensive than these so I was happy when I found a much cheaper version on Amazon. However this product is not as nice. My other set has a different material sewn on to the ends so that there is a flat surface on the bottom. These are knitted tubes where the ends are sewn together. I think this makes a difference with how well they stay on. 3Product photos here are deceiving: The actual sock as much thicker!! I have just received the products and like I said in the title, product photos are deceiving. Because the actual products are a lot thicker than the photos show. I love this one!! I used them for my Ashley Marsilona dining room chairs and even though their curved leg shapes, they fit perfectly. Also, I was first a bit worried that the sock's thick bottom part (due to sewing) would make my chair uneven and wobbly, but not at all. It actually works in a great way like a thick padding so it fixed my already wobbly chair issue. I will definitely buy a lot more when I move in and buy new furniture. My neighbor downstairs will be VERY HAPPY from now on. Excellent product! 5Fit great. So far, so good. These took only two days to arrive. The issue of the chair legs scratching the hardwood floor has been an issue for Andrew Lipiansky forever, and no solution seemed without its problems. He tried Sticking pads to the bottoms of the chairs, and that works fine until they come unglued through normal use. And when they slip off, that's where the damage really happens. Tired of trying different adhesives and different pads, Andrew tried placing floor mats in the area where the chairs would be. This works to a point. Obviously, where the legs actually rest squarely on the plastic, they do no damage. The problem is that a set of chairs takes up a large area, and they don't seem to make plastic mats big enough to really cover the area in question. Not only do the mats look bad, but the risk of snagging the corner of the chair against the raised edge of the plastic requires extra diligence in lifting the chair to move it even a short distance. That's where Andrew finally tried these socks. The biggest concern was whether they would actually fit snugly, or just slip off. The ad gave a range of size legs for which they would work, and these chair legs fell inside that range. Sure enough, they actually did slip on and stay put thanks to the stiff elasticity of the material. Andrew folded them down for looks, and decided the color matched the wood well enough to look decent. The material is very thick and silky, so now the chairs slide smoothly along the wood, without scratching, snagging, or jerking. They move much more smoothly than they ever did on the little stick-on pads being used before. And as an added bonus, they have more cushion than before in case one is raised a bit and then dropped back down instead of set down gently. So far, Andrew Lipiansky is very happy with his purchase. What remains to be seen, of course, is how long they will last. To be sure, they look very tough, and as Andrew mentioned before, the material is very thick and elastic. This wasn't expected, given the reasonable price. But only time will tell. Perhaps another review will be warranted in a few months confirming how well they really hold up.LimBridge 24pcs Chair Socks, Elastic Wood Floor Furniture Chair Leg Feet Protectors Covers Caps Set, Fit Girth from 4" to 7", Vertical Knitted Brown 5I use 2 per leg and it is fine. I was afraid to use only one sock ... If you have hardwood floors and do not want to destroy them with your chairs...this is a definite must. I use 2 per leg and it is fine. I was afraid to use only one sock per leg as the legs of my chairs are metal. I bought enough to be able to put double socks on each leg for years to come. I am so happy. They really work well 5Good solution to a modern problem I have a robotic vacuum, which is a must-have in a house with wood floors and two long-haired cats if you want to avoid cat hair tumbleweeds. I bought a soft bumper for the vacuum already, to protect the trim and most furniture legs when it bumps up against them, but these little socks are on an antique table that I really, really did not want to have damaged (hand carved, elaborate, softer wood). They are easy to get on the legs, stretching quite a lot and then staying put. You might notice them on a very straight leg, but if you buy the color closest to the finish of your wood, I doubt you would notice them if there is any sort of curve or carving on the legs. I forget about them entirely, and they are a great insurance against damage from the robotic vacuum. 5They don t stay on the chair legs Well the idea of these was fabulous! But they don t stay on the legs of the chairs. They slowly slip off over a couple days time until the cone off completely. As far as durable there s no wear noted but since they don t stay on the chair legs it kinda defeats the purpose. 1They're great for my engineered hardwood floor! I've purchase these chair socks before and they've always worked with my dining table legs and chairs and bar stools. They protect my wood floors even if they catch cat hair and fuzz, so have to wash them occasionally-LOL! But I could also take off most of the fur and fuzz by hand on daily cleanings, so no biggie! Wish they also come in bigger sizes because they don't quite stretch enough for my couch and coffee table legs. But very pleased with the product and would highly recommend. Thank you! 5Sweaters for your chair legs I'm writing this after one year of use. They work to protect your floors. They are easy to slip on your chair legs. After some use they may become loose and slip off. I would suggest washing them in a laundry bag for delicates, and then in the dryer so they can recover their original shape. 4You will not regret this buy!!! Love these things! I have put them on EVERYTHING!!! My kids play table, chairs, end table, bench, metal racks, and more! Having new hardwoods I've been paranoid for scratches and these are a great solution! They don't stand out too much and really can stretch to fit several different shapes. Its just so much better than those sticky pads that are always coming off! 5
