Customer Reviews

High quality and bright I bought a few different types of tap lights to try around the house. These ended up being my favorite. What I like:- 9 LEDs with no dark areas in the beam. I tried another brand and the beam wasn't solid like this one. I think it is because they spaced out their LEDs. This light is much better and has a nice solid beam.- The light beam is bright- Solid feel. They are made of plastic, but have a nice solid feel to them. Other lights I tried felt cheap.- They slide off of their mount. You can use the adhesive to stick the light up or you can mount the light with screws. Either way, you are mounting a plate. The light slides onto the plate. You can slide it off to remove the batteries. The batteries are not exposed when you do this; you still have to rotate the back of the light to get to the battery compartment.- Light is self contained when not mounted. I love this - I can slide the light off the mount and use it as a flashlight without having to worry about batteries falling out. I've used is as a flashlight as many times as I've used it as a tap light (I didn't expect this but it has been VERY useful)- The adhesive WORKS. There are so many that don't which leads to light falling and breaking. So this is a big deal to me.Cons- I was looking for a smaller footprint. This version with 9 LEDs is almost 4 inches wide. 5Nice bright light The brightness is excellent and it's definitely easy and convenient to install. Just peel off the wax paper from the adhesive and stick it under your cabinet or anywhere else you need some extra light. It also comes with screws and anchors if you want to go that route. You don't tap the entire bulb face, just a button in the middle of it.But beware: The reason I'm giving it a lower rating is due to the design. There is a disk on the back with the mounting adhesive attached. You need to remove the disk to get to the area to load the three AAA batteries. A sort of hex shaped knob sticks out of the back of the light device and the disk fits over it. The opening for this on the disk is wider on one end than the other and you push the disk until the knob is settled in the smaller end. Apparently you have to really consider the direction the adhesive is facing when mounting this under something. Accidentally hitting the light from the side can unseat the light from the disk fairly easily.I'd prefer that the entire disk on the back screwed in place or a lever was pressed to release it from the light.Mine got knocked down easily a number of times and even fell off on its own from the vibration of a train going by. 3Work well for undercabinet lighting We didn't want to spend a tonne of dough on under cabinet lighting during our recent kitchen renovation. These have been working just fine. They have a pretty wide beam and are plenty bright. They work well for this application. 4Handy gadgets that work amazingly! If looking for a extremely bright light you can place anywhere this is it. These Fulcrum LED's work flawlessly. Can stick anywhere or remove instantly if needed. Very competitively priced and they ship immediately. Would recommend to all looking for a deal. 5Please so far I bought these for my horse barn to use during power outages. Quality of material is about what I expected for the price and first assessment I would say it's adequate for my use. Not easy to go about feeding trying to hold a flash light in one hand to light the way. Our horse barn is 30' x 60' and just to see how big an area one little light could illuminate, I hung one at the end of the center aisle and it throws off enough light for about 3/4 length of the aisle and a wide enough beam that light spills over into the stalls. One little light gives just enough light that I can go about chores without holding a flash light. I bought Duracell brand AAA batteries, I seem to have the best luck with that brand so we'll see how the batteries last with Winter approaching. Unless we have a power outage, the puck LED light won't be on for hours, but I know in the cold temps the batteries useful life may drain quicker. I also bought one of the Findyouled Solar Outdoor Flood Lights with extra 16' cord to hang above the aisle, so I figure I should be well prepared now for a power outage plus they will act as a security/night light in the barn. 4Lights go 50% dimmer in just hours - it's a product problem, not a battery issue The concept is great, but the execution is terrible. These lights have a great design in terms of button, LED placement, stick-on function but still easy to remove to access batteries, but they absolutely do not hold a battery charge. The light shines brightly for about 1-2 hours, and then it immediately becomes dim - I'd say about 50% less light than it initially emits. I thought it was a battery issue, so I actually ended up returning a set of batteries because of this - suffice to say that was a pointless exercise because top-of-the-line new batteries didn't solve the problem. On subsequent days of turning on the lights, they occasionally are really bright for about 10 minutes, and then go dim again.Suffice to say, regardless of form, if the lights don't shine like they should, everything else is irrelevant. I'm returning them. I'll give them 2 stars in case all you care about is the concept and you don't mind a very dim light. 2Come to the light. These things need a warning on them. Point away from face when turning on. Holy solar flare these things are bright. They will light up any space with zero problems. 5Awesome bright light! These are awesome small space lighting! I got a bunch for under cabinet lighting a few years ago, and have lost a couple over the years (one fell in a crock pot full of soup, for instance). Was so happy to find these on Amazon! I tried a newer LED under cabinet light that had great features, but was disappointed at how dim the 10 bulb lights were due to the thick frosted light cover. It was noticeably dimmer than this 9 bulb light. These are super quick and easy installation, even with securing the plate to the cabinet with the included screws. I highly recommend using a drill and tiny drill bit to make a pilot hole, first.Be aware though, because these lights have a clear cover they are *bright*, so don't look directly at them with they're on. This is very thing that makes them perfect under cabinet task lights though! Love 'em! 5Good product -- and very bright I bought these to use in a cargo trailer converted into an RV. I put two on the ceiling (although they are bright enough that one would do). If we need extra bright light, we can turn them both on. One is near the door so that we can access it when entering; the other is over the "kitchen" area. I put the mounting bracket for the third on the outside; when parked we can use it for an outside/porch light. Because of the way the bracket is made, I know that the lights will slide out and fall to the floor while traveling. One solution would be to dismount the lights when traveling (which would be inconvenient and probably overlooked). Instead, I put a screw part way into the wooden ceiling to stop this from happening; this means I must remove the screw to replace the battery. These lights are much brighter than I expected, and I suspect the battery life will be rather limited. However, for our purposes this is not a problem. We will seldom use them for any length of time, or very often. For general use, it would be nice if they were a bit larger and used AA batteries rather than AAA.And they also make great flashlights, which fit comfortably in a pocket 5Not good. Short battery life. Bad design on mount. I have these several months now. I m using them over my dark kitchen sink area, in dark areas of my walk-in closets. I have found that the Batteries don t last long... I m Replacing them constantly. The light Falls off its mount too easily when tousling the button to turn them on so I m having to pick it up and reattach to the mounting plate too often ( doesn t seem to matter which direction I place the mount. It s just a very loose, small fitting and poor design). The light is great when the batteries are fresh and new. Otherwise they run down and dim out too quickly. I would say I get about 3 good hours of use out of these. That not good 2
