Customer Reviews

Best out there, blazing fast, get a compatible reader Best SD card out there for the price and speed. These cards are awsome, using the new UHS-II standard, which adds a new row of contacts to get blazing fast reads and writes. Your camera probably can't take advantage of the speed, but you don't need it unless you are doing 4K video or up. The real payoff comes when importing photos, this imports to Lightroom 2-3x as fast as my old, Sandisk Pro card. Make sure that you get a UHS-II reader, otherwise you won't be able to take advantage of the full speed. I purchased this one and it works great: Kingston Digital MobileLite G4 USB 3.0 Multi-Function Card Reader (FCR-MLG4) 5As an amateur photographer - thumbs up!I prefer 16GB SD cards for my cameras. They help keep me in tune with the number of photos I've taken and help me avoid a single card failure destroying a session or a vacation. These are wonderfully quick cards which I can use for both still and videos with my Canon EOS 70D and my Panasonic DMC-ZS40 cameras.5Switch fell out in lock positionThe little lock switch fell out due to layer separation. Making the SDHC unusable. Flimsy construction allows separation of the layers. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Check other one and two star reviews. This was my backup so well out of warranty and return dates. Doubt that I will buy any Lexar product in the future.1Excellent so far This is my first new-generation SD card (I think my last one was a 1GB model from 6-7 years ago when they were brand new at that size?). It came with my Nikon D3300 DSLR. It's nice and fast, though I doubt I've really tested its limits since I am a nooblet with an SLR and haven't even really gotten into the 1080p videos it can shoot (I dig hockey and will be annoying the guys at the rink quite a bit just learning how to take rapid-fire high-speed shots).Seems like a great product. I bought a USB 3.0 plug-in reader so I wouldn't have to wait for my camera's USB 2.0 interface dump 20GB of photos and such to my desktop (SSD drives). Everyone bless USB 3.0 speeds! 5I bought this memory card for my new Nikon camera ...I bought this memory card for my new Nikon camera - I had 900+ pictures of my son's first 5 months and the memory card erased all of my photos. I was told that this memory card is not a legitimate card and now my photos are gone forever. Thankfully, many of them were backed up but the rest are completely unrecoverable. Do NOT buy this memory card.UPDATE: I was able to download the Lexar Image Recovery 5 software and it found/recovered more than 1,000 photos from my memory card. I was able to save the photos to external storage and reformat the memory card. Still not happy with the memory card but I do LOVE the Image Recovery software from Lexar - makes it a worthwhile purchase.3Very happy with LexarI'm very happy for the Lexar SD cards & batteries. They do have a faster version that is 1000x 64GB card, However I've found that my camera buffer has more to do with the write performance than the cards themselves. That's why sometimes the sequence of JPG and RAW files are written to card vary. Lexar has lifetime warranty for what that's worth, but peace of mind that this is high performance and backed by a reputable company. The price was very good on sale. But price fluctuates a bit. I can't buy another at the same price any more. I would if I could.5DisappointedQuite disappointed in this product. I purchased it in anticipation of my Nikon camera purchase which finally happened. When placed in the camera, charged up, and ready to go I took two pics and the card was "full"! Following the camera's instructions I "formatted" the card and tried again. Again "full" after two pictures! Thankfully I had purchased a different one and loaded it. I formatted it in the same manner and happily took several pics with 9875 pictures left to go. Very disappointed.2Fully Met My Expectations, Perfect Operation In My HD Camcorder, Fast Video Copy To My LaptopI got this card to use in a HD video camcorder. It's just HD and not 4K. In this use I just plugged it into my device and it worked perfectly. After shooting I plugged it into my laptop SD reader slot and copied the video to my laptop for processing and erased the files on the card. This is pretty simple use. I did not run benchmarks, but copying large video files was certainly quick. The write speed appears to work perfectly fine on my HD camcorder. It does exactly what I want and I got it at a good price on Amazon - lower than I could find it locally. Good value and working perfectly in my application is the definition of a 5 star performer.5Buyer Beware: Received U1 instead of a U3The card I received luckily works fine, but does not match the item title or description.I expected and paid for a U3 64GB Card, but Received a U1 card. I did not have the time to return the card so I made due with it. Just buyer beware if you purchase this particular U3 64GB card. Too late for me to return it at this point. Already have files on it and too much of a hassle to worry about right now. Luckily it still worked for what I needed, but I was told to use a U3.3I use this in my Nikon D810. Stores a ...I use this in my Nikon D810. Stores a lot of photos and reads/ writes 1080p video at 60fps no problems. I read a few of the other reviews saying they got a bootleg copy with a much lower capacity than what the controller was flashed to say. I admit I have not yet tested this cards actual capacity, but have taken 113 photos in one sitting. each photo is roughly 72mb in .NEF/Raw . I will update this when I get the chance to fully test it.UPDATE: Just ran this card through H2testw. The capacity is as advertised. The speed is a little slower than advertised, but i guess that's why they say "Up to 95MB/s" kind of like buying a new car that is supposed to get "Up To 36MPG's" but the best you can get out of it is 33... Anyway, It's not a fake. With so many out there, this is a good thing. I stand by my 5 star rating. Good card for the money.5Decent card but note the write speeds! The Lexar Professional 633x cards are an update to the 600x SD cards. The previous cards were advertised at 90MB/s read and 45MB/s write. The new cards are now advertised as 95MB/s read and 45MB/s write according to Lexar. The new cards now have UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) rating. U3 is not a specific type of card, but a speed rating to assure the card can sustain at least 30MB/s write speed so it is suitable for 4K video recording. The old cards were introduced in 2012, a year before the U3 speed rating was created.I tested both 32GB and 64GB versions of the new 633x cards. Using CrystalDiskMark v3.0.3 benchmark I found essentially the same read and write speeds as the old 600x cards. I ran tests using several different USB 3.0 readers, below are the highest read/write speeds:Lexar Professional 633x 32GB 96.1 read / 48.9 writeLexar Professional 600x 32GB 96.5 read / 48.7 writeLexar Professional 633x 64GB 96.0 read / 69.3 writeLexar Professional 600x 64GB 96.6 read / 68.6 writeNote that the 64GB capacity cards reached higher write speed than the 32GB. The write speed is less than faster UHS-I cards such as the SanDisk Extreme Pro that can reach over 90MB/s write.I tested the cards in the Canon T6i and found 600x and 633x 64GB cards performed the same. The 32GB cards were slower, and the older 600x card was even slower than the new 633x 32GB card. I found some SD cards were slower than usual in this camera. I will update this review when I have tested in other camera models. This is a decent card for the price. If you are looking for speed the 64GB has a higher write speed than the 32GB. If you have a newer UHS-I DSLR (Nikon D5500, D7100, D7200, D750, Canon 7D II) you might want to consider a different card with a higher write speed.4Works great in my DSLR'sI have been using this card in my professional DSLR's both cropped and full frame bodies. It has preformed very well for me and I have used it several times a week for 10 months now.I have had no problems accessing my pictures in the camera or through my computer. It is a nice large card for my large RAW files, it has even been re-formatted over and over. This card has worked great for me and I am very happy with this card.5
