Customer Reviews

Be mindful of quality. Buyers should be aware of two issues with this product. First: I needed a backup ThinkPad adapter and this did the job for some time ... that time being four months. Moreover, I have ordered two of these items and they seemed to randomly come with three-prong ("3-slot"/"Mickey Mouse") and two-prong versions of the outlet-to-adapter chord. 2Did not receive what I ordered The image on the Amazon web page and description is of the "Slim Design" power adapter that came with the laptop. I received the standard thicker supply. It will charge my computer but is not what was ordered and will not pack as well in a bag. It is disappointing that I did not receive what was ordered. Just make sure you don't mind getting the thicker power supply when you order this one. 2Identical to my OEM power cord I inadvertently severed the power cord on my new Lenovo Flex 3 laptop by getting the cord caught in a power recliner. Lenovo won't sell either of the two pieces that make up the power cord set by themselves. So I thought I'd look for a less expensive option on Amazon. I saved about $20 by going this route and so far there are no issues with quality. I compared this product to the original manufacturer's cord that came with my Flex 3. I cannot tell them apart by weight, appearance or quality. I recommend this product without hesitation. 5but it actually works better and is more dependable than the one that came ... I bought this for the Yoga 2 Pro as a spare/replacement because I forgot my charger at home on a business trip. Luckily, Amazon Prime shipping delivered it to my hotel before my Yoga completely died (which is saying a lot, because the battery life on this thing -- Core i7 -- stinks). It appears to be the same make and model that came with my Yoga, but it actually works better and is more dependable than the one that came brand new with the computer. Here is why:The charger that came with the Yoga has some sort of physical imperfection where the cord attaches to the AC adapter. I have to give it really good pressure to make sure it is fully-engaged/inserted, otherwise it will not charge. There have been many times with the original in which I have thought the computer was charging, only to discover that the plug was slightly loose. This new one works perfectly. Now, I only have to decide which one I want to leave at home as my everyday charger, and which one I want to always have in my backpack for when I am on the road. 5Not What Was Delivered The power adapter delivered was not the slim, flat adapter in the picture, model PA-1650-37LC. This is what ships with the Ideapad Yoga 13. What was delivered was the model ADLX65NLC3A. This model is available elsewhere on Amazon for $15.I give this power adapter two stars because I consider putting a different picture on the product deceptive. It did work with my Ideapad Yoga 13. 2So Good , So Far The original I got with my lenovo g50-45 broke and I purchased a number of universal chargers that eventually failed me.I got this item in September 2018 and it's working as good as new today, March 26, 2019.Extra pointers:-it's a fair length-small and portable sized brick-uses 3 prongs-made for lenovo's that use the rectangular shaped charging port, not CircularSo good so far.Would recommend 5Not the same adaptor We received a different and cheaper adaptor that the one pictured. It works fine, but it is not the nice flat Lenovo adaptor, but the common ''Brick''-style adaptor. Which is offered much cheaper by other sellers.Working adaptor, but deceptive photo and too expensive so only one star because I don't like being lied to. 1Long and Durable Charger I don't know what the negative reviews are about. I have a Lenovo Flex 3 and the wiring on the charger that came with my laptop was short and tearing near the plug and stopped charging. This charger is sooo much better! It's way longer and the sleeve covering the wiring is softer and more flexible than the charger that came with my Lenovo making it more durable. The wire between the battery pack and the plug is longer so that when the wire hangs the pack is touching the floor and not pulling on the plug when it's plugged in leaving less stress on the wire near the plug so that you don't get that tearing near the plug. I highly recommend anyone that has a compatible device to purchase this charger. And it didn't take long to ship, about five days. I would recommend both this seller and the wire. Great job! 5Genuine adapter/slim tip but not slim travel adapter The adapter I got works and appears to be a genuine Lenovo. It's 3-prong, but it's in the Lenovo FRU list for my machine (t440s). It's worth noting however that while the adapter I got has the new slim-tip connector, it is not a slim adapter - just a typical brick. The listing isn't exactly clear on this. Also worth noting that I ordered from Notebook Parts Outlet and received a 65W adapter due to stock issues with the 45W - not exactly what I was looking for due to weight reasons, but it works as well (and they refunded my shipping charges when questioned about this). 4Works fine with Thinkpad X1 Carbon Touch I bought this to use as a travel adapter for my Thinkpad X1 Carbon Touch, and it works fine in that regard.I did, however, get caught off guard because this adapter uses a triple-pronged plug, not the two-prong that Thinkpad chargers generally come with. This makes the cord that comes with it a little bulkier than I expected and I wasn't able to use my "extra-long" two-prong cord. I didn't see this called out in the product description, so if you are often in a situation where you're dealing with ungrounded outlets, be aware. 4
